Absolute appalling service from start to finish. Was hounded with calls for over a year and then we did decide to go ahead with the kitchen the new bench was scratched, the door a small hole in it and the shelving inside the cupboards were falling apart. Waited nearly 4 weeks for replacement benches and doors etc and when joiner did return to put them on still no door or shelving fixed and the new benches had a chip! The joins were rough and water will definitely get into them. Managers was extremely unhelpful, wouldn’t pass on details of anyone higher up to speak to and issues still not resolved! Never ever will I use this company again!! Poor quality kitchen for the price! Please use a different company!!
To say I am diaspaointed with this company would be an understatement. This comapny were hired to re-fit my ensuite bathroom. My old ensuite was taken out on the 12th August and should've taken 4 days for the work to be carried out. Half way through the job the builders, through no fault of their own, ran out of wall panels. Now as we go into the 4th week I am still waiting......still no panels....still no ensuite. My back yard is still full of the old bathroom. A very hot bank holiday in August and I was unable to sit in my yard and enjoy the weather. My house is like an obstacle course, new bathroom equipment everywhere, and has been like this since the week before the job started. They even changed my order twice without consultring me. You ring up the company and you get passed around the houses.
This is not actually the first bathroom they have done for us. The first bathroom went over schedule and we had to get them back 4 times to fix things. Chipped tiles (which they knew were chipped), scratched ceiling panels, leaking soil pipe, the list was endless. We paid just over £12k. Why did we put ourselves through this again?

A local business does well based on word of mouth so let me tell you all about the local company called windows plus doors aka windows plus roofs aka kitchens plus bathrooms. The one Tim Healy advertises!
In January this year we decided to have new windows and a new front door put in, with a baby on the way we wanted the house properly sealed and warm, as the old ones weren't great. Our house already had internal window shutters when we bought it and the salesman advised that this wouldn't be an issue.
The date for installation was the 14th February, Happy Valentines indeed, they came and put the door in but said they couldn't do the windows as the shutters were in, we told them that they were fitted in place and couldn't be removed. The fitter advised us he would speak to his manager and get back to us to which they didnt. Two weeks later our daughter Lily came, 16 weeks early.
They tried to arrange a date but we said as our baby was on a ventilator we couldn't just leave her to sit at home. We then got a letter threatening with legal action as they weren't a storage unit.
We arranged a date for the windows and they were meant to come to install them on a Thursday in June they then cancelled on us saying they would come Friday, as it was only a one day job, and install the upstairs windows, but they ended up installing the wrong window leaving us with no fire escape! They finished at 1pm and said they would be back on the Saturday and on the morning of the Saturday we were informed that the fitters mother in law had fallen down the stairs and wouldn't be able to come but would on Monday.
Monday came and they were a no show, no phone call to let us know either. They then said Thursday which they rang on the morning to say they had lost the glass (so how can they threaten us with legal action when they didnt even have it!).
Another date was organised and my partners dad sat in all day waiting for them as neither of us wanted to lose anymore time anyway from Lily but again noone showed up and no phone call.
The following week after many phone calls they came back and they installed 2 of the living room windows but the main window glass didnt fit and they cracked the top one and we were left for a week with a cardboard window.
Eventually the cardboard was replaced and we finally had a window, which was brilliant as there was concerns from the hospital staff about allowing our 4 month premature daughter home with boarded up windows. Unfortunately the broken window hadn't been reported so we still had a huge crack across the top bay window. Another few weeks of repeated phone calls and waiting until it gets ordered, delivered and fitted.
We still dont have a fire escape upstairs. So almost 6 months after the one day job was supposed to be done, we have had more than 10 days sat in, away from our daughter, only half of which someone turned up to and are still waiting for the job to be finished.
Their policy apparently doesnt include compensation and after explaining to a salesman who rang back to ask what else we would like doing that the company would never be allowed to do any other job at this house under no circumstances....
Here is my compensation to you! I will tell everyone I know not to use your company. I work in a hospital that have many notice boards where I can inform the thousands of staff and patients not to use you. My daughter goes to 2 different hospitals which again has thousands of staff and patients walking through the door and many accessible notice boards for me to advertise my review of your company.
So remember people dont use them, Ever!
Windows began to be fitted at beginning on May.
15 units to be fitted. Fitters came spent a whole day fitting windows that were the wrong size (5 windows 4 incorrect size). Came to do my 2 big bay windows the next day to find they were completely incorrect size so reordered along with the other 4 that were wrong. Came back to fit to find one of the windows was still incorrect but changed it anyway and damaged the external walls. We’ve now been left for over 4 weeks with a window in my sons room that I’m terrified will fall out at any moment. Scaffolding has now been up over a week with 2 dates they were supposed to come to fix. First time we had a note through door saying they missed us. I was in the house no one knocked! And today my husband has sat in all morning waiting for them to arrive and guess what. No one has shown. Would not recommend this company to anyone.
I have just paid £3,000 pound to have doors draw fronts and handles fitted by kitchens plus . The fitting is ok ,but I am not happy about the handles which kitchen plus say they won't do anything about ! Photos below .. they look like old tarnished handles disgraceful I would never recommend this company to anyone . .
One of the worst companies we have ever dealt with. Everything that could of went wrong did. The planned 2 day wardrobe fitting has taken three weeks, the wardrobe doors had to be sent back for cutting despite everything being measured out beforehand. When the doors came back they were cut wrong so now it doesn't even fit properly and needs recutting. My complaints have been ignored by the company and noone has done anything to make this right. Absolutely devastated. Will never go with kitchens plus again.
The fitting of our wardrobe was meant to take two days. After day one we were told they couldn't complete it the following day and they will see us 'at some point next week'. We have half built wardrobe, mess lying everywhere and wrong product sent. The customer service was horrendous but cannot even put a complaint as the only person who deals with it is on annual leave. They sold themselves to us as this five star company with an excellent customer service but unfortunately we now wish we never went with them and would probably save hundreds of pounds.
The fitters started the job yesterday but couldn't finish it. We now have a half built wardrobe, mess in the bedroom and no idea when it will be completed. The company didn't offer any compensation for the inconvenience this has caused other than 'I am sorry'. Wish we had chosen someone else to do it for half the price.
I would advise any customer of Kitchens Plus to think long and hard before contracting with this company.
We had a bathroom (6' x 6') fully fitted (bath out, walk in shower fitted, panelled walls, ceiling with spotlights, toilet and sink with associated furniture. All for a cost of £8462!! To be fair the self employed bathroom fitter (Shaun) was excellent and went the extra mile.
We also had a kitchen fitted (8' x 8'). This was supposed to have been "bespoke"!! However, it was a flat-pack and definitely not bespoke. It was a nightmare from start to finish. The first fitter refused because the old kitchen had not been removed. The second fitter was surly. Furthermore the kitchen was not fitted correctly and remedial work had to be completed. They relocated the washing machine and changed the extractor fan. However, the extractor fan took quite a few attempts and visits to get right. Overall, not a very good service and all for a cost of £7000.
Absolutely terrible company from start to finish. We didnt have a project manager so nothing went right. 1 year later we have a fault with a unit blebbing so arranged a fitter to come out and took a day off work and emptied all the cupboards to get a phone call to say they cant make it, this was no surprise as this happened all the way through the fitting. Would not recommend them to anyone unless you like to be messed arround. Pictures attached is the way they left my kitchen before having to argue to get them back out as they thought it looked fine
This has been the worst experience of any home company in my life.
Ordered kitchen on January the 8th, rip-out was February 8th. Everything that could have gone wrong did. Firstly the broke the cover of my boiler during the rip-out.
Fitter Joe came and said he would return to finish the work he didn't get done that day. We never saw him again. I had to beg for someone to come and finish this off. He came late on a Friday night (I was promised by Karen All the work would be completed before he left) It didn't get done! No- workman ever came with dust sheets and would have walked all over my new carpet if I hadn't got mine out. After the work was completed, we had to take the rubbish to the tip as n-one came for it. I have all the dates when I was kept waiting in for phone call, workmen to arrive. This was totally a waste of my time. I reported marks on my Quarts worktops in February , the work was done early August and we are still waiting for work to be carried out by them. I have a long list of mistake and results of bad workmanship, I will happily send anyone a copy of these to warn you . The customer service is the worst ever, often waiting 2 weeks for a reply to an e-mail. I feel so sad about this , I asked for a little bit of compensation to make me feel like I had been treated seriously but nothing. I am going to make it my business to warn off future customers in any way I can. STEER CLEAR!!!!
The whole process started so well, quick punctual and efficient. Once the major part of the project was finished things went downhill. There didn't seem to be any communication within the different departments. I needed some doors that weren't part of the bathroom project...they were to be finished by the kitchen fitters. The result was as pictured below. Doesn't anyone talk to anybody else about prope measurements? I paid a lot of money and I feel that this wasn't the finish I paid for . I have tried to contact the firm to discuss a way forward but NO ONE has returned my calls over months....maybe this will get their attention!!!
I'm giving this one star because I can't give zero, or a minus figure. They tried to install a bathroom for a very elderly couple (88/96). They managed to get everything wrong - fittings, plumbing, electrical work, reinstatement etc. Huge holes left in walls, pipes bent to fit, fittings not fit for purpose and positioned incorrectly, damage to fittings unreported and left in the hope that no-one would notice, flooding, leaks causing damage to the kitchen/kitchen electrical below, etc, etc. The list is endless. Eight visits from seven different fitters, each one as inept as the last. No customer service, emails not acknowledged, calls ignored. All over six months. And the outstanding issues still not resolved. A small claims court submission will be our next, and hopefully last step. They are beyond the pale. Take my advice, select your own quality fittings (not their overpriced plastic tat from their generic stock list) and get your own workmen in. Let the internet do the work, you'll get quality products at seriously low prices. You'll need a plumber/electrician, and maybe a tiler. And that's it. You'll almost certainly get a proper job done, for 60% of the cost of the Kitchens Plus quote. Or if that phases you, go to someone reputable. Check their business model. Kitchens Plus don't employ any of the fitters, you do. They outsource the work. Which means that you pay the fitters directly, and if they're rubbish (and trust me, they are) then it's your problem. I have never before posted a negative review of any business, it seems unfair. But in this instance I felt that I had no choice. Buyer beware. You have been warned.
We were sold a dream kitchen, survey confirming everything was fine and we were happy to pay the extra for a higher spec oven. The self employed electricians, plumber, plasterer and fitters all did a fantastic job with what was delivered of our kitchen, some doors missing, others the wrong size. Some of the cabinet carcasses are the wrong colour, others too big needing cut down. The fitter did the best he could, David from Kitchens Plus promising to get it sorted. When chased, David said he has a page and a half of customers who have problems (30 lines per page makes that 45 customers). We were promised that fitter would be out today, some two weeks after initial installation. I have chased again today, my call going to voicemail five hours ago with no reply. I am ashamed to attach pictures of our not so shiny kitchen. Customer service is an absolute disgrace, yet I still hear Tim Healy promoting their business on the radio. Is he proud to be associated with this?
From the moment I went to the showroom I had confidence in the company as they seemed to understand I wanted my bathroom handled by one company who would do everything from measuring to fitting as I didn’t want to risk getting measurements wrong. I was also advised that a project manager would be on site every day to check how things were going and to make sure I was happy with how the installation was going. All seemed ok until the surveyor arrived to check the measurements the salesman had taken and the equipment ordered was ok. Unfortunately I was informed that the units I had selected weren’t possible with the handles I had picked. Not too much of an issue I thought so different units were agreed.
The job started on time and the fitters were excellent. Such a shame that the company did not meet my expectations when I informed them that they had actually fitted a smaller shower than I had before. I did mention it looked smaller at the time it was being fitted but was informed it was a standard size but as the project manager was never on site during the installation I couldn’t get reassurance from him. I believed it would be ok once completed and just looked smaller because of the mess during installation. I realised as soon as I had my first shower that it was indeed a smaller shower cubicle. The project manager informed me that the issue was discussed with the manager and his response was ‘she signed for it so not our fault’ . Had I taken the measurements myself I would agree with this reply but I trusted kitchens plus to measure correctly and certainly not to make decisions about the equipment in my bathroom without my agreement or knowledge.
Disappointing after sales service from Kitchens Plus although I must say that the fitters offered great after sales service as they came back the same day I reported a leak through the ceiling lights in my kitchen. This was sorted immediately. Maybe the company could learn a lot about after sales service and customer satisfaction from their fitters.
Service to start of with was ok. Bathroom fitted on starting Monday 7th August, could have been finished on the Thursday but tiler unavailable to work on Wednesday, poor work staff management all complete or so we thought until we tried to use shower, called Lew who got someone out to take a look, it took 3 different plumbers to find out that because we don't have a combi boiler our water pressure is to strong and overrides the hot. This being said was informed that it would be sorted by Saturday 19th August, rang and was advised another plumber would be out last Friday, this unfortunately did not happen, c8ntacted Lew who said a plumber would be out Saturday , he turned up and went away 2 minutes later. Unable to contact anyone! So still no shower i wish i hadnt had it done as it is such a shame i hav a lovely bathroom that is not finished. Would NOT recommend this company for after care
While it is some time since this installation began (1.12.2014) the last visit 29.06.2016! For a job that was to take one week. An experience I would not wish anyone to go through - my advice is NOT to give them house room! As it is mentioned in comments on here they take your money and stuff you. From starting the job our complaints went on not just months but years. The problem being the initial team put on the job were not capable to do the work, but fault after fault arising! Trying to make out a lot was our fault! Actually telling us the cooker hood was not compatible with the hob but did nothing! The kitchen tap was a nightmare - did not resolve, only to mention a couple of many issues. As also mentioned by others - do not turn up for appointments, do not return calls which delays matters further. Customer satisfaction has not been in the remit for us at all. I would never again go through a company where they have all the money up front before you are satisfied with the job! As mentioned on here - do your homework before you commit. I actually wondered if complaints were escalated to the actual owners of the company - if they thought it was acceptable practice to treat people the way they do! WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND.
We wanted a wet room, nice and flat so we had no steps - we were thinking ahead to when we were getting old as we had knees and back problems - 'surveyor' came out and took measurements, we pointed out the concrete floor visible around the toilet area as we had changed the original toilet. We were told yes we could have a wet room but because we had the concrete floor it would take 2 weeks to complete as the concrete needed to be dug up. We also were to have a larger style cupboard re-installed where we had on previously. Were told the walls and floor would be waterproofed. We were happy with the price. Before work started we were asked did we have use of another toilet and wash facilities. We said we had another toilet but the shower we had leaked so said it was important work was completed on time. Workmen did not arrive on agreed day - we rang up to be told work could not start until we paid upfront - something that had never been mentioned to us before, but we paid our money. Work started the following day. Bathroom was gutted of toilet. bath, sink, shower and tiles removed from walls and floor. Then we were told we could not have a wet room due to the concrete floor. 'Surveyor' arrived told us he had overlooked the concrete floor - no way we said it was pointed out to you - sorry he said!!!!! We were also told we couldn't have the cupboard - even though there had always been a cupboard in the same place. It means the work bench wont fit so produced choices of benches we could have - but didn't want! Then he ordered a shower tray - that we didn't want - but we don't want a shower tray - we want a wet room - flat - with tiles. It will be ok he said it will be nice - but it is not want we want and have paid for. We rang and asked for our money back - we cant have what you agreed to in contract so we want our money back - they wouldn't give us our money back. We will send a different surveyor - he said of course you can have a wet room he said I will let the team know. Great. Team arrived the following morning - 2nd surveyor hadn't told them we were to have the wet room as contracted. They walked off the job saying they were fed up of Kitchensplus. We were left with a gutted bathroom, a small toilet and unusable shower upstairs. 2nd surveyor arrived and a new team of workmen - we were told again we couldn't have the wet room - but what we do will be lovely - but we want a wet room - that is what we have paid for - we cant step into a shower. We went to the shop we rang the shop no-one rang us back when we told someone would ring, we told them we wanted our money back they refused. We were persuaded to allow the work to continue to give us facilities. Work finished - we have a 4 inch step into the shower - but we don't want a step!!!!! They broke their contract with us. Work, due to all the errors took 4 weeks. Rubbish was thrown into our front lawn and was left 4 weeks ruining our lawn - we had to ask them to remove it all. When things go wrong they wont listen to you. We are still waiting to hear from them about our complaint. As long as they had our money they didn't care what we wanted. They will not get our recommendation.
We received an installation of windows from this group and the quality is poor, leaking seals, sealant dried up after 2 months and the aftersales performance is shocking. Do not use this company for anything.

the kitchen is fine and thye kitchen fitter was good but they did not measure the kitchen and the fitter found it was notsquare which added more time one of the walls that had been scimmed the plaster fell off no one from kitchens plus cameto see me. customer service was adisgrace and they dont tell you that you pay all your money before the job is finished .i was intending to have my bathroom done but not from kitchens plus no way.
Beware of this company. We had our bathroom fitted by kitchens plus and it was a complete nightmare! The fitters were lovely but the actual company no. We were promised to always have a flushing toilet but had NO working toilet for 2 days! We had NO bathroom sink for 2 weeks!!! Which was a nightmare with small children! Beware!!!
Would never recommend this company to anyone else still waitlng seven months on for repairs to be sorted to a bathroom and kitchen that we had fitted to the cost of nearly fifteen thosand pounds which was paid to them in cash. They always have a excuse when you ring or are too busy to come to the phone, never ring you back and fob you off withva load of lies, we feel like we have been ripped off byvthis company and are in the process of taking things further .
It is a year since we had our kitchen fitted and I stopped trying to contact Kitchens Plus several months ago because my phone calls and emails were being ignored. Problem started when the surveyor ordered and had delivered an incorrect sink base unit but still suggested that the fitter continue with the installation. The fitter did an excellent job but being the wrong sink unit there are end panels and upstand where they shouldn't be, unsightly gaps around the worktop, and the sink remains loose as he was unable to use the fixings supplied with the sink.I have copies of the original plan, sketches and photographs that were discussed extensively with the surveyor and I would have liked my kitchen fitted to this plan.As I paid for the furniture in full before the work started I did not have any lever that would encourage them to return and address their mistakes. This has been very aggravating and I would certainly not recommend this company.

Having inspected the product and listened to the salesman's promises I felt confident that I had chosen the right installers, even though the price (£10,000) seemed somewhat steep.
A couple of weeks post installation my sitting room flooded due to heavy leakage through the rear dorma windows also causing damage to the ceiling.
A builder friend of mine came round at short notice to check where the leakage was coming from and he identified cracked roof tiles and incorrectly installed cladding (soffits?) and damaged lead flashing.
I spoke to "Wallace" at their Kingston Park branch and he informed me that they would send a plasterer and decorator round to repair the damage but as their sub-contractor is at fault I have "no chance" of any financial compensation with regards to the £10,000 spent.
In my opinion this is not acceptable and would not use this company again.
I really wish I had done more research into this company before I spent over £10000 on my kitchen. I had it fitted nearly 2 years ago and im still waiting for the certificate off the gas fitter I gave up ringing and emailing for it I got a fitter to sign it off myself. I do not have the time or energy to write all tht went wrong but belive me from wrong panel's being sent to plumbers turning up after 9pm wanting to drill holes outside my house it all happend im still waiting on cap covers for the hundreds of screw heads inside cupboards gave up asking for them too. Also my worktops that are supposed to be stain proof scratch proof are already needing renewed that's with chop boards all over them. I would advise anyone to stay well clear of kitchens plus.

I can only apologise for the poor service that Mrs Robinson encountered. Whilst it was almost two years since the job was installed, there is no excuse for the problems she had and although the customer is very happy with her kitchen now, the issues at the time took the shine off it which I totally understand. Kitchens Plus have been trading for nearly twenty years now and have built an excellent reputation but on this occasion we did not get it 100% right which I am very disappointed about and we will endeavor to make sure it does not happen again.
I wish I had read up on this company before I went ahead with a fitted bedroom. A lot of the things we have read relate to me and my partner having the same problems. I could give you war and peace on this but I can't be bothered. I've had enough. Late delivery of items, poor workmanship, poor communication. Even after I had to get another firm in to rectify an insecure wall, which cost me extra. Initially they agreed to compensate me by taking it from the fitter who did the job. Now they say they can't do that. So I have been to their showroom and paid the bill in full, however I will be sending the bill, along a video taken by the firm who rectified the moving wall to see if the manager has any sympathy. I will put up the result on this site. Finally I must say the finished product is very nice but it is tainted by the above.
Please, please, please if you are thinking of buying a kitchen stay well clear of this company. We ordered a kitchen and it was delivered on 15th September 2014. The fitter who we can't fault removed the old kitchen which he didn't know he had to do (great start) and started to install our new kitchen. The next day after the carcass was installed I noticed they had delivered a completely different kitchen to the one we ordered. Ours was to come from Italy, this cheaper version was from Browns at Cramlington and a totally different colour. After telling Kitchens plus what they had done, and them blaming the poor girls in the office, we had to wait a further 3 weeks for all the doors to be delivered, after they asked us could we change the hardwood flooring to match the kitchen...bizzare!!!! When they were fitted, 2 of them were too short, so had to be re-ordered. Another 3/4 weeks down the line they were delivered only to be short again. The granite came and was faulted, so we complained and they replaced it a 2nd time and low and behold that was faulted too. After complaining again, that was eventually replaced..The tap is another story. That was fitted back to front and the plumbing was absolutely disgraceful. the wast pipe ran up (yes up) can you believe. Anyway the tap failed and squirted water all over (not what you want from a £400 tap). that was replaced and would you just know it.....it happened again. Now we have a third tap and even then I have had to pay my own plumber to come and fix it after the shaft it was fitted on was too short. After about 17 weeks after the initial installation my patience finally was broken by the constant lies, false promises and down right couldn't give a damn attitude, so I withheld the money for the granite which I refused to pay and finally got a decent kitchen company to come and fix all the problems that Kitchens Plus left us with. After speaking to the many fitters, plumbers, electricians etc. mine is not a one off complaint. Please, save yourself the heartache and DO NOT buy from this 2nd rate company.

we've had replacement lock fitted in the front door as original one was taking metal off the key whilst locking & now the door cannot be locked as it's out at top & bottom & have been kindly informed no-one available to come out over the weekend to fix I think this is shoddy practice & wouldn't recommend them to anyone
It took 4 months to fit our kitchen, I have less storage space than before. I agree with all Mr J has said. I have written twice to say we will not pay the full amount because of all the hassle, but have had no reply. I have just sent an email, but looking at reviews here, I'm not too confident of getting an answer.
DO NOT TOUCH THIS COMPANY WITH BARGE POLE. Talk great things but provide nothing but excuses. Wrong items ordered/delivered. a bathroom re fit is now into 5th week still waiting for a sink, worktops and hinges for doors.Has to be the most UNPROFESSIONAL company I have ever dealt with.
Fitter excellent but he is contracted to company and he could only work with what had been delived in dribs and drabes. What has been finished is excellent.

We signed for a main bathroom, en-suite, downstairs toilet, kitchen and utility room. Very competitive on price, no other company came close. However 13 weeks after the bathrooms were finished we are still waiting for a replacement toilet seat to be delivered and 7 weeks after the kitchen was started we are still waiting for it to be finished. Wondering if the cheap price was worth all the hassle!
We had a bathroom fit last December. We have had constant leaks ever since due to poor fitting. It has bee n very difficult to get anything put right and we found customer service very poor. We have now given up and asked another company to carry out repairs. The new plumber couldn't believe the poor quality and said several parts have bee n fitted incorrectly or are missing altogether. Over 30 years we have used various companies, this has definitely been the worst...steer well clear!

We had a good sales visit (but all sales visits are good) however the first day of install was delayed from a Thursday to Friday 31st July due to bad weather.
When the install started on the Friday, I voiced concerns about them being able to take off the old roof and construct the new one in a day. I was reassured that this would be plenty of time. The 2 installers worked hard, and they worked the Saturday to get everything completed however, the bracket for our vertical blind had been damaged during the install. The installer did not inform us of this. There was a hole on the outside fascia which rain could of came through and part of the guttering was missing, and the installer advised the plasterer would fit the guttering on Monday.
The plasterer came on the Monday and was not aware that he was expected to fit guttering or that he could do as this was not his job! We contacted Kitchens plus ltd who advised they would get the installer back, by doing this delayed the plasterer to the following day. The installer came back and filled the hole in the fascia with silicone. attached the missing piece of guttering and then apologised about damaging the vertical blind bracket. Which has now led us to having to purchase new blinds.
The plasterer came on Tuesday (a different one to who came the day before) and constructed the ceilings. The mess he made was very bad and he had very little care in taking care of the outside patio where he was working. I felt he could have put down a dust sheet and cut and mix the plaster on this instead of on the paved patio.
The electrician came on the Wednesday and done a fantastic job (best part of the install) installing our lights and light switch and couldn't do enough for us.
Apart from one call we made to the office to inform them of the missing guttering, hole in the fascia and damage to the bracket no one has called us to see if everything went well.
The overall finish of the conservatory inside is not very neat. We have a scratch mark on the glass on one of the doors, scratches and marks on the UPV window frames inside. The aftercare is non-existent and today (20.08.2020) I have received a letter from building control asking me to let them know when the roof is finished. I rang building control to advise roof was finished on 06.08.2020. They seemed shocked by this and asked if we have had it inspected yet. I said that I hadn't had a visit from an inspector. Building control advised they would call kitchens plus and speak with them as this should have not happened as they were told the install date was later and did not expect the roof to have even been started yet.
Overall, not a professional service not informative or any care I felt the job was rushed and caused some damage to my existing framework which I did not expect. If you do choose this company, please make sure the job starts on a Monday as I feel starting anything on a Friday creates a rushed element to what should have been smooth sailing which this wasn't.
Very helpful initially how they don’t want to know when things aren’t going well !! I was left for 3 weeks without a kitchen when I was told 1 week !! Phone calls and emails were not replied to !! No apologies given, very disappointed with the service .
Bathroom fitters however were great and kept us in the loop throughout . Couldn’t fault them at all.
Sales team could literally sell anyone a bridge, which then the things that’s are promised are not carried out by the fitters or the customer service team.
Lack of communication through the departments is shocking.
Fitters were lovely, however felt really rushed, they dropped something from the bathroom floor which damaged my kitchen ceiling leaving dirty toilet water in my kitchen sink!
Work was completed but wasn’t happy so had to get a second visit out.
Months later still getting phone calls / texts badgering us for feedback - so there ya go 👍🏼

A 2 star only because the customer service has been that of a amature company without 20 years experience they boast.. besides 2 cracked windown on delivery and one window missing which in total took the best part of a month to resolve the quality of the product seems good time will tell, the problem we found is the efficiency and lack of care given mainly by the supply manger and the authorising of payment before completion of work ie: waiting on windows to be replaced . All in all fitters canny, product canny service not to the standard of the product .2 month on still waiting on some beading to be replaced .
Fitters started installation on 18th May, doing a great job with what was delivered but the issues were too many to list here. It too five further visits over nine weeks to complete. Personal letters to the Director's went unanswered. We opted for CDA appliances, gas hob already repaired under manufacturers warranty with Combination Microwave Grill and Oven beyond repair and about to be replaced. Not a great experience at all.
Windows Plus Roofs - Good Job!! Happy with fitter, roofers, electrician and plasterer.
Windows - The installers are polite and friendly and have provided a good service once they have been provided with the materials. This job has been ongoing since July. The original installation of windows was great. The front door has taken three attempted installation dates since July. Finally in October the job has been finished. The installation crew have all been lovely and polite and the office staff have done well to assure the job is completed.
Windows - Poor communication - 1st date didn't happen, probably due to lockdown but no notification. 2nd date cancelled on the morning of arranged date/double booking. 3rd date Cam cancelled on the morning of arranged date - no bay poles. Georgian straps put in were black and had wanted white, to be changed...
Roof - Better waterproof covering could be provided. The lads did their best
Windows - Both fitters were fantastic, made a poor customer service experience from the staff much better.
New kitchen cupboards are lovely. Every on involves in the fitting was amazing, regular call from the company kept me fully updated with when everyone was coming. No complaint there. Nevertheless the appliance ( Caple oven) my oven door exploded 6 months later and although the door was replaced after 2 weeks Caple tried to blame me for the explosion and wanted me to pay for a new door. I refused and they said as a good will gesture they would replace it free of charge. That annoyed me more than the door exploding.

All installers were very hard working, including conservatory specialists, electrician and plasterer, and worked some very late shifts during very hot conditions. Cam and John from Windows Plus Roofs were very pleasant and couldn't do enough to help. All could have been much better in cleaning up each day eg, a considerable amount of shattered glass was left in a roof galley and we had to sweep up each day. The plasterer did a good job of sweeping up after completion. Working a late shift on the finish day lead to an error, gable end is 20mm out of plum. Warm roof system there is a possible design fault, the reinforcing steels would be better fitted into the timber for a tight fit and no gaps and no retro fitting. The polystyrene melted under glass during the hot weather and was replaced with kingspan - we would like to know how the energy efficiency has been affected. Some training would have been beneficial eg, how to install windows/glass strip system. We know that the finance was activated 2nd July, before our sign off and practical completion.
Disappointed in the positioning of the roof ridges which seem off center
Few problems along the way but finally got there. Not original door due to wrong sizing. Made do with a door similar as the one chosen was not made for size of door needed.
Workmen - fine. Disappointed in installation dates being changed 2nd time since these were ordered November 2019. Excuses were poor, would expect some sort of compensation as I had to change and take 2 days off work.

The customer was an 88yr old disabled lady. The sales/design team visited three times and the bathroom design was changed from a walk in shower to a shower cubicle. Through a breakdown in communication the walk in shower got delivered and fitted which would have been a disaster but as it turned out better suited the room and customer needs. The fitters and electricians were excellent but a mix up in the delivery left them two wall panels short and delayed the job for two full days
We recently had a kitchen fitted by this company and in many respects they were very good but sadly in some other respects very poor. The salesman was very pleasant and helpful and reassured us that everything would be taken care of and checked by our own personal Project Manager, we have yet to meet such a person ! We were given a schedule on and on the Wednesday the old kitchen was taken out (including removing an internal wall) promptly and efficiently on the agreed date, excellent job. On the Thursday a plumber and and electrician also attended to secure water and electrics etc , again on time and efficiently. On the Friday (and my wife had taken an extra days holiday for this) we were expecting a plasterer first thing on the morning to tidy up the walls and ceiling etc from the previous 2 days work and once finished we were told that the kitchen would be delivered in the afternoon ready for the fitters to start work on Monday morning. The plasterer didn't arrive at all but the kitchen was delivered at around 8.30 in the morning !!! We had friends visiting for the weekend which we had organised around this plan, thinking that we could work around the kitchen units being stored in the spacious but empty and newly plastered kitchen area but no, after numerous phone calls and having to move the kitchen units twice myself, some of our planned weekend activities had to be cancelled as we learnt that a plasterer wouldn't be with us until first thing Saturday morning ( turned out to be around 11.30 in actual fact). Weekend not totally ruined but very, very disrupted. Monday and the fitters turned up at 8ish as promised and got stuck in doing a great job staying til 7.30 at night to finish their part of the job and very well done it was too. The fitters left and told us that just the plumber and electrician would have to come and connect everything on the Tuesday. The plumber arrived bright and early but the electrician didn't come til much later and couldn't finish everything due to other commitments apparently. He came back on Wednesday and finished pointing out that a plasterer would need to return to cover old plug sockets and fresh wiring channels that he'd had to cut into the wall. He did call the office in the presence of my wife and informed her that they would call her later to arrange. No such thing happened and after numerous phone calls on the Thursday it appeared that they quite simply weren't interested in finishing the job properly, such a pity as the kitchen will be really nice when we are finished, the units and appliances are all good quality but the fine points of customer service are severely lacking and we will be unlikely to recommend this company to anybody. I have hopefully attached a couple of photo's to highlight the small but very frustrating faults.

Rollercoaster to get a great end result. Service all over the place, dates changed after having to chase to confirm one. Head office did get involved and were on top of that so that got resolved in the end but with having a 2yr old and a week without a bathroom after organising to be away when it was supposed to get done was very inconvenient. Had a new kitchen fitted. The lad who fitted it was absolutely brilliant and a hard worker and I would highly recommend him. The team who removed the old kitchen and replastered it for us were excellent. We are very pleased with the finished result. Only gripe is in relation to a missing door which took numerous calls over 3weeks to resolve. This company needs to improve its customer care follow up. We had been given a date and time they would be be coming to fit the door when it arrived. On the day they were due to fit it they didn't turn up despite 2 further calls from myself that day to confirm they would be here, this isn't very acceptable.
Pleased to say the wonderful fitter sorted it for us.

The only problem i had was with an issue with Jason regarding the radiator, when i said i would take radiator off myself Jason hadn't asked me to get the pipes altered to, i was under the impression that their plumber would be doing that so now it has cost me more money to have the pipes removed which i thought was unfair considering the price of the kitchen.
Brilliant pair of lads, could not fault them, they have kept everything tidy and left no mess. Windows and fitting worth the money, would highly recommend.

We are delighted with the service from the company and the fitting of the kitchen in January this year (2020). The only problem we have experienced was after 2 weeks the oven door exploded which thanks to the staff at the company was replaced after a few days, The makers (Caple) were insinuating that we had done something wrong. The fitters were very good. It would have been preferred if the working days were consecutive without the weekend delay. There were discrepancies with plasterers/electricians payments. My bathroom is nice but the problems I have had have really took the shine off it for me and my husband. It took me over a month and so many phone calls and wasted time travelling back and forward to the bank trying to recover money for work not completed.
No problems with the windows and doors department of this company. Just the kitchens and bathrooms side.
Kitchen was large and doors is very heavy. Thought 2 people needed (but proved wrong). Overall very pleased with the result. Replacement sink and tap not of the same quality or handles ordered by surveyor. Would definitely recommend the company as all tradesman have been excellent and efficient.
Overall company a slight lack of communication between fitters and back room staff. Mark and Dave no problem whatsoever with their workmanship or standard of cleanliness.

Good job. Fitters were punctual, tidy and very competent. All round good customer experience ans we are very pleased with the final result. wouldn't hesitate to use same company again.
On the whole we are very pleased with the installation. the main crew were excellent in everything they did. The plastering was also excellent but let down by tidying up. Only let down by plasterers cleaning up. This was cleaned up by Dave from the roofing crew. It was then left spotless. Man crew deserved a 5* score. Thank you Mark, Chris and Dave.

went top end spec for a bathroom , shower, flooring & walls. excellent & thorough preparation & advice. products delivered on time & as promised. work team arrrived on time too , thorough & speedy . both the fitter & company contact molly contacted appropriately . only problem was minor , a shower fitment was installed whilst clearly broken . fitter reattended but were unable to correct it , a replacement has been ordered and i await it arriving and installed .
Installation went according to plan. Fitting team and plasterer first class. All took pride in their jobs. I would recommend the company to others. Two points I would like to bring up - 1. As I used my own finance I paid a 25% deposit but was told I had to pay balance when roof was delivered. This I found strange as I was paying for a completed job which had not been started. 2. Ringing your company on numerous times I got ring tone then cut off. As an ex GPO/BT engineer I found this odd. No-one or auto answering system telling me if anyone was there or what the reason.

BATHROOM- installer was really great, really happy with his work and really professional throughout. Likewise, the electrician and plasterer were efficient and professional.
Overall the bathroom quality was good. Disappointed with the design problems not being highlighted at time of survey and having to be changed last minute. Fitting of wall boards proved tricky with some gapping in places and flusher on toilet needs replacing. the finish looks good though and completed within a week as promised.

The people that fitted our new bathroom were excellent. They were really easy to get on with, and super helpful. Their fitting expertise was to an excellent standard. I think the project management facility is a great idea, it really keeps things moving along.
Apart from loosing 1 day due to Electriction and missing door for the ovens extractor fan (wrong filter)
The plastering was good and the fitters were excellent. They both made up for the loss of time. They worked very hard as I had the week off work. If it wasn't for the electrition I would score 5 stars.
Right from the start everything was perfect (rip-out, electrition, fitters) were all on the job the two fitters were outstanding, they even made a little shelf for the wife. Came back as when to refit extractor fan after tiler had been. Got our own tiler, did not like Kicthens Plus one sent. Will not let him spoil a good job well done.
All the tradesman involved in the installation of the roof have been friendly, informative and have done a very good job.

Overall very good but I would flag up the following points which were slightly disappointing. One colour of selected cladding discontinued and we were only told about this half way through the fit. This lead to a scramble to identify and source another colour / cladding. Although Kitchens Plus were accommodating in supplying an alternative, this was not exactly what we wanted colour wise. Lee stepped in with a supply of cladding in a good colour match for the bathroom. Appreciated the daily calls from Stacey and her helpful attitude
Salesman did not fully explain that we were taking a finance agreement, we would have paid cash. It was used to us as a safety net to ensure quality service. We had problems in getting the surveyor to agree to our preferred design, however once these issues were resolved we have been very impressed with the standard of workmanship provided. End product is excellent.

Overall work has been carried out to a high standered. Everything in the bathroom was installed very well and house was tidied afterwards, Has tacken a lot longer for the rubbish to be collected despite several phone calls to the office and via the installer it has still not been removed which is disappointing.
Product is of a high quality. Minor issues with 1 window however this was resolved to the best possible finish. Paul & Steve are the nicest lads I've had working in my house. Only other issue is with the top light and handle to finish

Good service in showroom very helpful fitters were great very good at there job and stayed late on last day to get it finished lovely job one very big negative is getting the bathroom rubbish removed from my garden it took 2 weeks and many phone calls to the department dealing with it one of the girls would not answer my calls so I had to call showroom manager to see if he could do anything it still took another 2 days but this really is a big problem I could hardly get to the gate it was dangerous so until they change the operator I would not go back I know of others having the same problem
I'm delighted with my new kitchen and bathroom from Kitchensplus. The installers were highly skilled and did a great job, and the units are of high quality. The only problems were 3 items not being delivered for the bathroom because the surveyor made three mistakes, which slowed things down. Anyone can make a mistake, but three is careless.
To be fair, Kitchensplus rectified the problems very quickly. I would be happy to recommend them to friends and family.
Workers polite, courteous, worked hard, explained the work being carried out as they went along, provided dust covers over all furniture etc. Cleaned up as they went along and afterwards.
Dave and Dale were very efficient and good workers. The installation went well, except for some plaster came away on the right hand side of the window in the lounge. It was filled but the area needs skimming properly-and some cracks are visible above the window-this happened when the old window was taken out.

Helpful staff and fitters. There were some problems with supply of parts but these were resolved and am very pleased with the finished bathroom.
Lewy, the project manager, was always willing to sort out any issues promptly which was good customer service. Joe the electrician was great and Morteza the plumber was pleasant tidy and always willing to help. Both tillers were very pleasant also but had to come back out to rectify some issues, which they did.
The service from sales to install was quick, friendly and efficient. Overall install was very smooth and professional. Some snags along the way with communication post job but it appears we hit on a company restructure. The kitchen is beautifully made and skillfully installed. Kitchens plus were happy to sort out any issues we had to ensure that all our expectations were met and we got the kitchen we wanted.

Kitchens from Hell more like - We had kitchens plus to fit our new kitchen, which started April this year. We had problems from the start and to date mid August the kitchen is still not complete. The excitement of having our first brand new kitchen soon turned into a nightmare. The tiling was the biggest problem, but also bench top was damaged floor was damaged and tiles had to come off as they were not satisfactory. After going to trading standards we got a refund of the cost of the tiles and tiler. We now have sourced our own tiler to do the job but can not get it done until October. Avoid this company like the plague!!! We did put a seven page complaint in to the company but got no response. Every time we rang to speak to the person dealing with our kitchen they were not available and were always promised a call back - that never happened. We would never use this company again nor recommend it to anyone.
Once they have your money that is it the aftercare service does not exsist appointments made for issues and no one shows up and when they do after 3 weeks you still here nothing and you end up chasing them time after time.
It is interesting that they do not have a facebook page or any other media outlet to air your views and there website only really shows all the happy customers i was a happy customer when the kitchen was fitted but it is what you do after is more important.

I had a kitchen and bedrooms fitted by kitchen plus and I've been very happy with their work. Decided to add to our bedroom furniture and ordered some drawers. After waiting over 3 months they were delivered with no drawer fronts/tops/handles. These drawers are free standing and should of been should of been delivered fully assembled We have been in touch with them several times concerning this matter , but no one has got back to us. Very disappointed in this company, I feel they are happy to talk your money when your placing a large order but when it's a small order they are not interested.
The bathroom I had fitted by Kitchens Plus looks first class - really good job and definitely meets our expectations. The only minor concern we had is the dust caused but that was nothing in great scheme of things. Well Done!

Kitchen Plus carried out a conversion from a bedroom to a bathroom. The work began and ended on schedule. The fitters,Ian and Russ treated our home with respect and we couldn't believe how little disruption and dirt there was. They were also great at keeping us up to date with how work was progressing. This was not an easy job as it is an old house, however they worked through each issue. All of the work was carried out with care and precision and the fitters had an eye for detail. We had a complete bathroom and en suite fitted early last year and were very satisfied with the quality of the work and also customer service.
We have however had a problem with the sanitary ware as both toilets had seats replaced on several occasions which did not solve the problem.
Kitchens Plus have been extremely supportive despite the time scale and have replaced both toilets to solve the problem.
I can't speak highly enough of Llewelyn and his coordinator ( I believe Greig ) who dealt with this issue with patience and kindness and plumber Mike who performed above and beyond the call of duty!
