Windows Plus Roofs Limited T/a Kitchens Plus

I'm giving this one star because I can't give zero, or a minus figure. They tried to install a bathroom for a very elderly couple (88/96). They managed to get everything wrong - fittings, plumbing, electrical work, reinstatement etc. Huge holes left in walls, pipes bent to fit, fittings not fit for purpose and positioned incorrectly, damage to fittings unreported and left in the hope that no-one would notice, flooding, leaks causing damage to the kitchen/kitchen electrical below, etc, etc. The list is endless. Eight visits from seven different fitters, each one as inept as the last. No customer service, emails not acknowledged, calls ignored. All over six months. And the outstanding issues still not resolved. A small claims court submission will be our next, and hopefully last step. They are beyond the pale. Take my advice, select your own quality fittings (not their overpriced plastic tat from their generic stock list) and get your own workmen in. Let the internet do the work, you'll get quality products at seriously low prices. You'll need a plumber/electrician, and maybe a tiler. And that's it. You'll almost certainly get a proper job done, for 60% of the cost of the Kitchens Plus quote. Or if that phases you, go to someone reputable. Check their business model. Kitchens Plus don't employ any of the fitters, you do. They outsource the work. Which means that you pay the fitters directly, and if they're rubbish (and trust me, they are) then it's your problem. I have never before posted a negative review of any business, it seems unfair. But in this instance I felt that I had no choice. Buyer beware. You have been warned.
