The front door was better than we expected and the colour accents in the window were bonded onto of the glass which looks fantastic. Slav fitted the door expertly and left without a mess. Totally recommend.

We contracted Kalglass to replace a 9-pane bay window in our Victorian apartment building. It was a difficult job removing the existing, rotten wooden framed window with single glazed, non-safety glass on the second floor overlooking the garden. Kalglass did not submit the cheapest quote; however, they did not try inflating the cost of the job by insisting on scaffolding as two of the other three contractors did (which they expected us to organise). As we’d used Kalglass before and were pleased with their work we chose them over a larger firm which submitted sent a lower quotation.
Theo came for the initial assessment of the work and was tasked to design a more stable framed structure to support an outdoor balcony on which the window frames rested. His quote included all costs, labour, taxes, and architectural standard drawings indicating the exact measurements and technical details related to the work. The quote also indicated a ten-year warranty on all parts and labour, and a FENSA certificate post installation.
Alex and Catalin arrived at the property to begin work on the scheduled day 15 minutes early and began removing the old frames immediately after laying ground sheets to catch debris. Within two hours they had the old frame out and started preparing the walls and outside brickwork for the new frame and double-glazed sealed units. By the end of the day the new windows were in place.
Alex and Catalin returned the following morning (again, 15 minutes early) and completed the installation and trim by lunchtime. They cleaned up the ground below and left the flat immaculate. They worked efficiently, quietly and did an amazing, professional install. We will continue to use Kalglass for all future work on our building and highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality work, competitive prices and on time project completion. Thank you, Theo, Alex, Catalan and the whole team at Kalglass! Pure excellence!!!

Fantastic company! Adrian who first came out to visit provided really good advice. After deciding to go ahead he did all the measurements for me and helped me to pick the best options. Lou was so helpful at providing all the quotes for the different options and was so helpful when I needed to reschedule the work after my moggy needed an operation. The team who came out to install the windows and doors were friendly, punctual and hard working. They have done a brilliant job. The quality of the windows and doors is superb. This is the second time we have used Kalglass in 20 years - different houses though. On the second occasion we did not go anywhere else as we had been so pleased before. They are very straightforward to deal with and we never had any of the hard sell double glazing experiences that you hear about from other firms. Needed all new windows and 2 doors to replace the original steel windows from 1960 in a Bungalow. Was worried that a lot of remedial work would be required after the windows were fitted, but NO, none required at all, first class job, from the helpful sales lady (Lou) who had to put up with quite a few changes to my original spec (thanks to my tenant changing their mind) to the fantastic window fitters. We needed around 25 windows and two sets of doors replaced, so it was a sizeable project. But the thought of asking for quotes from the mainstream double glazing companies made my heart sink. Then we realised that Kalglass was pretty much on our doorstep, and we much preferred the idea of working with an independent local business. It was an excellent choice. They didn't try to 'sell' us anything, but instead spent time explaining the options. And once we'd decided to go ahead they were very patient as we chopped and changed some of the finer details. The installation itself was painless and their installers, Slav and 'three sugars' George , left the place hoovered and immaculate each evening. So many thanks to them and to Adrian and Philippa. A great experience and an excellent result.

Kalglass recently installed multiple items at our property. They were exceptionally efficient in challenging times and very prompt keeping open lines of communication.
The service received has been excellent and I thoroughly recommend them. Not only is this a company which has clear objectives to ensure client satisfaction but they also take great pride in their work ensuring that the product meets the highest expectation. Small problems were quick to be sorted and the quality of the product and installation is superb.
Kalglass came highly recommended by our contractor and I will be sure to continue passing on recommendation. If you are considering an installation of windows, doors etc, be sure to give the team at Kalglass a call before speaking to what we found to be a monotonous amount of companies all offering the same products at vastly different prices and all speaking from the same sheet. Kalglass has just finished installing a double glazed door with two side lights to my brick built garden summer house. All the work done, from the initial survey through to completion of the project, has been carried out to a high standard and throughout Kalglass and there staff have been friendly and efficient. The unit itself is well made, nicely finished and the door opening/locking mechanism has that quality feel to it. All-in-all an excellent job at a competitive price.
Kalglass built a replacement conservatory for us, and a set of double doors. They reliably arrived for the survey as agreed, and they sent without delay their price quotation for the jobs discussed. Their price was very competitive, and there was great care to ensure we had the works done just as we wanted. There were no delays in scheduling the jobs, and the execution was of the best quality. Kalglass' employees are friendly, professional, competent, and I found their services to be above and beyond my expectations.

Kalglass have completed extensive glazing work to replace misted units in our windows.We were really surprised at the improvement this has made to the light and insulation .The glaziers were tidy and finished a day earlier than anticipated .
