He was genuine and didn’t use any hard sales techniques and gave a fair price from the outset. I have always been very suspicious of companies that say they are offering massive discount but yet still came in more expensive that the DL quote. Very nice to use a local company so if anything does need sorting out down the line, they are close by. All in all a very happy customer.

I wanted to let you know how delighted I am with the double glazing now installed in our home offices . It has already sound-proofed our spaces to great effect and the glazing itself is far from visually intrusive, chiming nicely with the windows we already have.

We have just had new windows and doors fitted and are very happy with them. The fitters Scott and Nick did a great job installing them. Toby the salesman was very good explaining the different window designs, there is a small showroom in Calne which we went to a couple of times so we could see the product range. We had a new Solidoor fitted and are very pleased with the design and additional security it brings. All the staff are very helpful.

We had 9 windows replaced with DL Windows and we are 90% pleased with the service and installation we received from the team. Stefan the sales guy who first came out to see us after our initial enquiry couldn't have been more helpful. We exchanged a few emails as we had more questions after his visit to which he responded to quite promptly and he came out with a sample window as requested. He made us feel as though nothing was too much trouble for him. His customer service was the main reason that we chose DL Windows above the other suppliers we saw. The fitters Adey and Kris, were outstanding and did a great job, even coming out on Saturday morning to finish up as the job over-ran. One of the smaller panes provided was the wrong size but they called the office straight away to inform them and put in a panel temporarily. I wasn't satisfied with how one of the windows swung open too wide so Kris adjusted this until i was happy. They covered everything with dust sheets and any mess that was made was cleaned up. Overall, they were a good team, pleasant helpful chaps who are a credit to DL Windows.
We did have an issue with the installation team. Lee originally called with a fitting date which came after a cancellation had been received. We couldn't make this specific date, so we agreed for 2 days the following week. The day of the fitting arrived but 2 hrs after the confirmed starting time we had no fitters, so we called the office. After speaking to two different people we were left thinking that we had not been booked in after all as no one seemed to know what was happening. We then confirmed with Lee that the fitters were due to be out in the afternoon that day - they did arrive that afternoon. We are not sure how this happened, but we were happy with the service we received to sort this out and Lee made every effort to ensure the job was started on the same day. Our only recommendation after this is to get any fitting dates given, sent to you in an email as confirmation.
We would recommend DL Windows because despite the mix-up with the fitting date we did receive an exceptional customer service from them and we are really pleased with our new windows.

Just a quick note to say a massive thanks, for our new door. The time frame from placing the order, to installation was really quite exceptional. The installation part was absolutely flawless. Josh, was punctual, polite and extremely professional. He did an outstanding job! We discussed some issues of concern, that I noticed during the install (from the poor build quality of my house). Josh, explained how it would all look ok at the end of the job and even managed to find photos of a previous install, which smoothed over the concerns that I had raised. We are delighted with the door and it has completed our already lovely home. The transformation is amazing and exactly what my wife and I had hoped for. I am pleased that we have used DL Windows, as I believe that small, family-run businesses seem to have a better ‘personal service’, as opposed to franchises that we had previously been quoted from. After reading quite a few negative reviews about DL Windows with customers exasperated by appalling customer service, we were understandably reticent about placing an order with this local company for the supply and fit of aluminium doors & windows in the gable end of our new kitchen extension. Having relayed these concerns to Mike, a relatively new Sales Manager with the company, he assured us of his commitment to excellent customer care. I’m pleased to say, Mike was as good as his word. We had a number of issues with the installation which he handled very professionally & always affably. Ken, their surveyor also did an excellent job of taking the measurements of the space opening perfectly. The teething problems were eventually ironed out, thanks to Mike’s excellent project management, and we are left with a truly stunning, cosy, bespoke kitchen extension.
We chose DL over a national competitor purely on price, and are very happy with the outcome. The whole process from initial quote, survey to installation of 11 windows and 2 doors took just 5 weeks which was much quicker than we expected. However Ben and Nathan didn't rush the installation and worked well together to leave us with a quality finish. They tidied as they went, cleared the site end of day and were happy to resolve a couple of minor snags for us. All in all a very good experience and would happily use them again.

DL Windows provided us with a fantastic service from start to finish, we have had new windows and doors and it has totally transformed the look of our property. The surveying and fitting was excellent, being done at times that suited us and the final finish and fit was perfect. Both windows and doors are a very good fit, meaning no ugly space filling was necessary. The fitters were very friendly and trustworthy with a commendable attention to detail.
I would highly recommend DL windows as both a quality service and supplier, of quality or windows and doors.
I am very happy with my new sliding sash windows and front door. They look good and cut down the sound of the main road outside remarkably. The fitters made sure that I was kept informed about the installation as it progressed and they were always on time, making sure to clean up at the end of the day.

D L Windows (Chippenham) fitted our whole house out with new windows, a new composite front door and a new back door a couple of years ago. The fitters were great and the windows look lovely - so no complaints there. However, we've had problems with the front door sticking since then. Their Surveyor said it had warped out of shape and promised to order us a brand new door to replace the faulty one. They have come out 3 times now and each time the new door was too wide and wouldn't fit!! Last time I rang and asked what was happening I was told by Sylvia it was "all in hand" but with no indication of timescale or what was happening. I haven't heard a thing since. The customer service and aftercare is non-existent and appalling!! As a result, we certainly would NOT recommend D L Windows. It's about time they came to put right our problem but I seriously doubt that it will ever happen. Disappointed to be treated so shabbily particularly after spending such a lot of money!!
