The surrounding area of window is totally being knocked down. The boss is arguing with me over the phone nearly two hours to force me to accept that the damage is minor and it is stated in the contract. Come on any one with eyes can tell that it is not minor damage. Quarter of surrounding windows plaster being knocked down and I just got someone to come over to revalue the job. They ask for £500 pounds to get it back to original condition. So this is not definitely minor damage. Really shamed of this company's quality of work they carry out. Don't ever trust this company. They are a bunch of liers.
Built the wrong frame, fitted it anyway but upside down, seemed OK so signed it off, a few hours later the window broke, have been calling and emailing them for 6 weeks and keep getting told someone I'll contact us to sort it but they never do.
I was given a quote of almost £3500 today for a new front door
When I said that it was way over my budget a fonecall was made...
And as if by magic , it dropped to £2600 then, £2200
Its seems that their prices depend on what the customer is prepared to pay
I didnt expect to be haggling in my own home

Although happy with the final product, they were not as we expected. We went into the shop to enquire about having built in georgian bars and easy openers, but neither were fitted. Also there was a real lack of paperwork or communications, with most of this being driven by our requests.
From quoting to installation, communication was exceptional. No quiery went unanswered

A vertical finishing strip broke while the installation was been finished, but as promised, Universal have since been out and removed and replaced to finish the work.
