Choices Windows

My original review has been removed after I named the owner of the company so now I am posting again, naming no names! The owner came & took over half of the total amount as a deposit in September for a complete house of windows, front door, rear stable door & large french door & windows fitment with a start date of 30th october to last a week. When the windows arrived there were 3 incorrect sizes, no glass for my Son's bedroom window (which wasn't bought to light until after the window was fitted) 2 lots of privacy glass missing and no front & rear doors. Despite numerous calls, texts & emails to the owner the work remains unfinished. He blames everyone else for the probems & does not take responsibility. He has done NOTHING to remedy any of the issues instead comes up with excuses. We eventually had to call out a glass installer ourselves & pay for the glass in my Sons room as the window was open to the elements - they had only put a piece of board up which was a good few inches too small either side which offered no protection to the elements at all. It has become clear that he NEVER had any intention of providing the doors as not once did he measure for them. We have had nothing but excuses after excuses whenever we have been able to contact him. - which has been very rarely as he does not answer calls. He's arranged appointments for the fitters to come & continue the work which I've taken days off work for but no one has shown & not once has he rang to cancel any of them or rang to explain why they haven't shown up, it's always been me that has had to chase him which isn't easy when he won't answer or return calls.We are left with a half finished job & a house that looks a mess. What should have been straight forward home improvements has turned into a nightmare. I have since had an independant window company take a look at the work carried out & it has come to light that there is no toughened glass in the front bay window - this measures over 6ft deep & over 11ft wide so that is a tremendous hazard! Also non of the windows have been fitted in accordance to Fensa regulations & wrong hinges have been used which in turn prevents a tight fit on some of the windows resulting in draughts. Two of the window units are warped which occured during manufacture & yet they were still installed. It states they are Fensa regulated but these windows will NOT pass a Fensa inspection. We are left with shoddy windows & workmanship which will cost thousands to put right & we STILL have to have doors fitted. All I can say is DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! ***HE ALSO OPERATES AS TIPTON WINDOWS AND CONSERVATORIES LIMITED so please be careful you don't end up with the same problems as we have!***
