Some 25years ago I had rep from Kirby Cleaners (If anybody remembers this product) he was a very nice man and all he wanted to do was to get us the best price from Kirby Cleaners (his employer). He started off with an extortionate price for a hoover (Kirby Cleaner) after several calls to his office the price kept dropping, this carried on for 2 hours. This is the worst type of selling and thought it was no longer used. Last week we had a rep from Anglian Windows, he was a very nice man and all he wanted to do was to get us the best price. He started with an extortionate price and guess what, after a few times contacting the office, the price went from £13500.00 to £7650.00. We are both pensioners, if we had excepted there first quote, would they have gone along with that price? £13500.00 I never bought a Kirby Cleaner or Anglian Windows
