I had a problem with a leak in my conservatory that was fitted by Brackenwood, and I was reliably told by a surveyor who was at my property on another job, that the box guttering fitted is the incorrect size, I phoned Brackenwood and explained that whilst I accepted that it is out of the warranty, would they as a good will gesture come and take a look and see what they could do about the leak, no one phoned me back and a few days later I received a letter telling me I was outside the warranty and there would be an £80 +VAT charge just to come and look at it, I phoned and explained again and was told very abruptly that I could get an independent survey in writing and send it to them they would take a look and get back to me, it is probably a 10 minute journey from Brackenwood to my home to just look at and discuss the problem but they couldn't be bothered without getting paid, as it is they have lost out because I decided to get a new roof, and had they had better customer service they would have had the job, instead i have given it to a company that came a lot further free of charge to look at the leak and offered to try to fix it for a nominal charge. it was totally my decision to change the polycarbonate roof to a glass one and im glad I tested both company's to see which one gave me the best service, and it wasn't Brackenwood
