Barge boards for dwelling house. I would love to know how good the workmanship is, but unfortunately it is difficult to judge something which has yet to be fitted. Our order was placed on 1st April 2015. After several attempts to arrange for the work to take place, we were told that the delivery would be made and work completed before the end of September. This was postponed to 12th October and again to 23rd October and then there would be a further week's delay. Workmen duly arrived on Thursday, 29th October and surveyed the building and stated that they would collect the materials and fit them the next day. On Friday, 30th October a message was left on our answer phone advising that a team had called in sick and the work would be further delayed to this week, commencing 2nd November (still 2015). A phone call to Better Homes on Monday, 2nd November brought no satisfaction and the promise to return my call has yet to be fulfilled. Having paid the required deposit on 1st April, it is most disappointing that we still await any action on the part of Better Homes. Unfortunately, I was unable to delete the one star in the rating at the top of this message and I have to question the many good testimonials given for the Company.
