I decided to go with the home design group having seen the job that they supplied and fitted in my friend’s property.
I could see the quality of the frames and the glass and how well and neat that they were fitted.
The service was very professional and the fitters Chris, Stevie, And Reece were great and very knowledgeable,professional and passionate about their work.
There was not much disruption on the fitting days plenty of dust sheets used and old frames and rubbish taken away at the end of the day.
If I ever need any doors, frame's supplied and fitted I would chose the home design group.

We had all our windows, front door, back door and back French doors removed and fitted. It took a little bit longer than we were originally told, but the work was such a high standard we didn't mind. The guys who came were very nice and did an amazing job . One of the windows for the living room had broke, they told us what happened, instantly ordered new glass and had it installed in a week.

Ciaran and his team were professional, courteous and very clean. They worked non stop in awful weather . Ciaran checked the windows thoroughly before leaving and cleaned them as best he could. Once the recommended 7 days had passed & I cleaned them properly I discovered a few market/scratches on 2 panes. This was dealt with promptly & professionally & the panes were subsequent replaced.

The fitters were fantastic. They installed my fascia's/soffits and guttering across 2 freezing cold days when it was so cold I gave them a

The work done on my house was 16 windows including an arch shaped one, French doors,a back door and a front composite door. Work was done to the agreed schedule with great courtesy but a few breakages occurred in transit and were rectified within a few weeks.

Had the eves and conservatory done and pleased with the efficiency and helpfulness of everyone involved. One of the glass roof pains was
the wrong size but the fitter manged to fit part of the old roof as temporary cover successfully. Proper glass pain was obtained and installed in a

Someone rang me on the Monday and Michael Flanagan came on the Tuesday gave me an estimate I told him to go ahead with the job paid my deposit the next guy was the surveyor who came after him the installation guy and before I knew it they came and installed everything all done in the one day.

Installation went brilliantly, cannot praise Ciaran and crew highly enough. Very tidy workers, always cleaned up every day before they left, no fuss ,no bother. We recently had work completed by the Home Design Group. We had replacement soffits, fascia and downpipes installed. From start to finish this was a fantastic service. Graham called out initially to talk us through everything and give us a quote, he was very professional and efficient. The promised timelines were met which was great. Darren in Customer Services was also very good with all communications to us. The installation took place this week by William Dickson. The job was first class and both of the fitters were excellent and lovely to deal with. They started at 8am on Tuesday morning and the job was finished on Wednesday early afternoon. We are delighted with the finished job and would have no hesitation in recommending The Home Design group to anyone.

13 windows were installed with the old ones removed and taken away. The fitters went above and beyond to make the job as tidy and good as possible and even did some external cement plastering to make good some crumbled old plaster work which came away during installation.

On the first day, the fitter worked alone and fitted 3 windows and the front door.

A couple of very minor sealing had to be replaced, these were ordered and as soon as they arrived, another fitter returned to do this work.

I have had my front, side and Garage door plus windows replaced. Installation folks did great job sadly i did not get their names, during inspection they pointed to me that there was starch on the garage side door probably it happened during packing in the factory.
They passed the issues to aftercare folks; I was then contacted by the service department to arrange time for a visit. A very nice and polite young man arrived promptly on the day, and he fixed the scratch, he did such great job which looked as good as new. Great job
We recently had 11 windows and a front door fitted. From the get-go our experience was great.
Our sales representative Mark, was really lovely. What set him apart from other companies we spoke with was that whilst speaking with him we felt that he had our best interests in mind, he had a really personable approach and was extremely well informed on what he was selling. Everything ended up coming slightly earlier than expected, which we were delighted with, and this was communicated efficiently and effectively with us throughout the entire process.

We are very pleased with the installation of new windows around the house. Every window was well measured and custom sized to the openings without the needs for large amounts of filler and as specified (one minor discrepancy but that was probably nothing more than a
misunderstanding between us and the company - it does not affect the quality of the product). The fitters, Ryan and Harvey, did an excellent job ensuring all windows and doors were fitted in a timely manner. They made every effort to clean up as much as they could (but there is always going to be

Be extrememly cautious
I purchased my door from this company on the 29th March at the time was advised all the work would be undertaken by this company (removal of porch, fitting of new door and tidying up surround) and this would be a two day job. Work began on the 18th August; workmen left shards of glass on porch and didn’t return the next day to tidy. Door was fitted on the 20th August and remained without glass panels for 7 weeks as company told workmen to fit the door known glass panels weren’t ready. Throughout this time there was scaffolding left up side of the house for weeks, exposed electrical cables and door not locking. Safety of my home compromised for 7 weeks as there was pieces of cardboard were glass should have been. During this time builders saying they would be there and then not showing up to complete the job. Finally sent email of complaint on the 4th October, company were apologetic and assured me work would be completed. To date this still not completed as outside trim has been fitted with clear silicone and now awaiting this to be redone with green silicone. Lots of hassle, chasing builders & company & taken time off work for no one to arrive. I received response to my complaint alongside the details of another individuals account. In complaint response they advised I could have £250 off more products I wouldn’t let this company come and do work in my home for free; work has been such a hassle and dangerous. What was to be a two day job has taken 4 months and repeated emails & chasing up. The front of my home was a state for weeks be extremely cautious of using this company.

After reading this review, we have fully investigated this matter and feel your review is not only not factual its also unfair for all we did for you.
When we initiated the building works your porch roof internally was completely rotten and falling to pieces, we could not complete any of our work until this was repaired as it was unsafe and beyond repair.
Our building contractor undertook this additional work and completely replaced this at cost price to you. This would have been something you would have been totally liable for but we did everything for you to ensure you did not have huge additional costs. This took time as we needed to get additional materials ordered in, but once they were available, they completed the work immediately.
As a company this was never an ideal situation but with the unforeseen condition of your roof internally we went above and beyond to rectify this condition and leave you with a porch roof that was safe. This roof potentially would have caused injury to you or damage to your property if our contractor had not uncovered this underlying damage.

Having been let down by another company several months ago, Home Design Group stepped in and proved that the work could be done despite the height of my 3 storey house. The fitters were very courteous, humorous and professional; no rubbish was left and the finish is outstanding. Very pleased and would recommend this company ....no problem. Adam the designer came and done a complete survey of our home and I must say he was extremely patient with our questions. Darren came and measured our fascias, showed us the product and did a demonstration on how they fit they the fascias. Our neighbour had work done by home design so they already came recommended. The day the fitting guys where meant to arrive, they where on time travelling from Belfast, they worked the whole day through no hassle and they cleaned up completely after themselves. Would definitely offer this company out to my friends and family. There was a small issue with one of the gutter clips and they came and repaired with in 24hrs that to me was everything a service should be and it was.

We are very happy with the quality of the windows and the installers did a really good job. I’ve recently emailed them to return to add a strip to the bottom of the window to complete the look so hopefully this will be done soon. Otherwise I’m very satisfied.

I had all my windows replaced from hardwood double glazing to light oak PVC during the worst 2 days of the "Beast from the East " at the end of February. I cannot praise highly enough the work ethic of the two fitters Chris and Steve. They arrived at the time stated in spite of the awful road conditions in the hills where I live. They were polite, courteous and didn't complain once about the awful cold conditions they had to work in. Due to the very cold conditions a few problems occurred with some minor fittings but they kept me informed at all times what was happening and how it would be resolved. Due to the high winds there was a lot more dust and fine grit that blew inside the house than would normally occur however they hoovered and cleaned up after themselves every evening. Please ensure the 2 men receive my comments. very pleased with my new windows.

Had them out for quotation may not be the cheapest but the workmanship is second to none. We were very happy with the product and the fitters.One kitchen tile damaged after assurances that this would not happen.I have a letter from Betterhomes to this effect.We did enquire as to putting down our own dust sheets but were told by Betterhomes that this would not be necessary.The problem was that all the rooms that had windows fitted were covered in dustand debris. Plus there were stains" on a bed cover that cannot be taken out.This cover would need to be replaced.This is a pity as everything else went well. Betterhomes need to "fine tune" their commitments with regards to keeping their customers property clean and they should have more dust sheets and a commercial vac cleaner."

Don't touch this company. They promised a five star job which turned out to be far short of that. I ordered a front door costing £2,500.00. I had to stop the fitters adding trim to areas where it would look redicious and far too broad but they said they had nothing narrower in the van. They tyied up and I signed the documents. When I inspected the work closer I noticed that they had filled spaces with brown sealer and clear sealer. Obviously they had run out of brown sealer. These gaps have now opened up and are very obvious. After 14 months the door would not release the key. We phoned Better Homes and they wanted £50 to call and look at the problem telling us that the guarantee did not cover 'movable parts' which I assume is the whole locking system. To us the locking system is one of the main parts of any door. They told us to take up the matter with the sales person.....who has left the company.
Betterhomes has just completed a fabulous new sunroom at our home. Right from the start they have been very professional and we are thrilled with the outcome. The designer had a great eye for what would suit the property and it looks fabulous. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to invest in quality.

We ordered a conservatory with a solid roof from Betterhomes at the beginning of the year. The company project managed it right from the design through to the fit, including all the building work we needed. Barge boards for dwelling house.
I would love to know how good the workmanship is, but unfortunately it is difficult to judge something which has yet to be fitted. Our order was placed on 1st April 2015. After several attempts to arrange for the work to take place, we were told that the delivery would be made and work completed before the end of September. This was postponed to 12th October and again to 23rd October and then there would be a further week's delay. Workmen duly arrived on Thursday, 29th October and surveyed the building and stated that they would collect the materials and fit them the next day. On Friday, 30th October a message was left on our answer phone advising that a team had called in sick and the work would be further delayed to this week, commencing 2nd November (still 2015). A phone call to Better Homes on Monday, 2nd November brought no satisfaction and the promise to return my call has yet to be fulfilled.
Having paid the required deposit on 1st April, it is most disappointing that we still await any action on the part of Better Homes.
Unfortunately, I was unable to delete the one star in the rating at the top of this message and I have to question the many good testimonials given for the Company.

Installers carried out work to our complete satisfaction and were courteous and hard working.
I order a canopy in April this year and was given a completion date of 6 weeks. I contacted Betterhomes after the 6 week window and each phone call promised a return call but never received any. After a further 10 weeks I finally got speaking to the Manager, he told me that the canopy would be fitted soon, I was expecting 'soon' to be that week but no....it was finally fitted on the 14th week from order placed. The workmanship of the fitter was excellent, he was very pleasent and couteous. I am very happy with the finished product but extremely disappointed with the sales. It is unfortunate that a proper time scale could not have been given from the time I placed my order, this would have allowed me to have gone elsewhere as I needed the work done for a family wedding.
Can I say I would recommend Betterhomes? Yes for the finished product but unfortunately NO for their communication & sales team.
Had the survey for the sofits, facia and guttering. "No problem" said the rep. A 6 week turn around. that was January. March came. guys showed up in a downpour, suggested that i wouldnt expect a dog to work in that weather. They were delighted. they returned in may. opps didnt have the equipment to do the back of the house. The guy who surveyed got the measurements wrong. OK, Back to the drawing board. Got a call yesterday, 11th august 2015. Sorry Mr Stewart we are unable to do the job, So much for the 6 week turnaround. Thanks for that. Mine is not BETTER HOME.

Betterhomes replaced our fascia and gutters and did a great job so I recommended them to my Dad for windows and door replacement. Once again they did a really great job-couldn't fault them. My only grievance is that Betterhomes DO NOT fulfil their promise of £100 cheque for referring and getting them more customers. I have phoned them and emailed them and all have been ignored!!!!!
I really would recommend this company for their work BUT, THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS S>>>>
purchased a front door and back door from this company , no problems with the back door but the front door different story , totally utterly disappointed in the communication and how long it took to fix the problem , was told a lot of cock and bull from start to finish and still the door has problems with it , wish i had never purchased the door from them especially as the cost of the doors are very expensive ....

Fitters very courteous etc. Completed Totally professionally. The phone system stopped working on the day of the installation but the fitter rescued the system of communication with thier mobiles.
Any contact with Betterhomes was always to a very professional and courteous standard at every level. The guidance given by Paschal was helpful and enabled me to make an informed decision regarding my product choice. The fitters were friendly and courteous. Overall I am delighted and feel that I chose the right company and product.

Terrible what should have been a 2 day job took 7 months the fitters were crap and ignorant the windows leaked some had to be changed as they were put in to tight and could have popped out at any time they tried to blame everyone else and everything else even the builders who built the house 6 years before even though there had never been any problems before they got their hands on our windows please go to a better company

I have vertical venetian blinds. Unfortunately the brackets for wooden frames are not suitable for PVC frames. We were not made aware of this. I suggest that sales representatives be made aware of this.
