Quick response when I made an inquiry about improving the warmth in winter and making it cooler in summer in our conservatory. The salesman told us what we needed and that we would not need any extra heating as we had hoped to remove the dividing doors between the sitting room and conservatory to make one large room. Attached to the quote there should have been some drawings but no drawings appeared despite asking for them. In the salesman’s quote he said please get in touch however small our query but at this point he seemed to disappear. There were several problems with communication - people turning up at 9am when we had arranged for them to call at 2pm . The wrong size glass for the doors, when I chased them they came out with the wrong size again obviously someone had not reordered. The fitters worked well and the manager that came out said we would need extra heating in that area. It was summer at this point and I was concerned as the heat was over 40c on some days. I spoke to a member of staff as I wondered if the glass was working properly and would the glass work in winter. When I thought there was a crack in the glass I was asked to send a photo - no-one at that point explained that it was just a mark on the glass as if it had broken it would have crazed. I was surprised to be rung up by a member of staff to be asked where the photo was that they had asked for, when I had sent it in some days before.There has been a leak where the glass roof joins the wall. This was promptly seen to. I do realise it is difficult during this time of Covid when staff may be working from home. There are some good members of staff who have apologised and tried to make things better. I have been given money towards an electric heater which has now made the conservatory warm even when outside is below freezing. I wonder how our electricity bills are going to go up. I still feel that I have been sold something not fit for purpose in the first place.
