I have been very disappointed with my experience of Leamore Windows. We selected them based on all the positive reviews on 'thebestof' despite them being +£2000 more than a 'safe' national glazing company. It turns out that 'thebestof' is an advertising company which is franchised for local areas and subscribed to by companies so not exactly impartial (our first mistake). The first we noticed any issue with Leamore was after the second day of fitting. I questioned the finish of our windows and was told my concerns would be rectified and not repeated on the remainder of the fitting. I accepted this from the fitters and allowed them to continue (our second mistake). After the fitters had completed we noticed even more problems, windows were incorrect size, window sills were chipped and damaged, 3 different types of trim on the one window, silicone used to seal brickwork instead of proper filler and the incorrect glass in our door. I wrote a complaint to Leamore and luckily we had retained 60% of our total until completion. The Leamore installations manager reluctantly came out and agreed with our assessment (although with several excuses thrown in) and agreed to replace our windows. 6 weeks later (than the original due date) we have finally got our windows finished but with no formal apology and when asked about compensation for our inconvenience was practically laughed at. Very poor service overall really lets the product (which is actually good) down.

I think this report is unfair, there was a misunderstanding with the windows and we did what every window company would do replacing the bay windows, to keep the customer happy we made 2 new bay windows and fitted them at no extra cost to the customer and the customer was happy with the finished job, the only thing he wasn't happy with was he wanted compensation and we said that wasn't fair after the expense we had gone to on what was a 50/50 problem, the customer wasn't happy with that and wrote this review, could I ask for it to be removed please Gary Hackett
