Absolute cowboys, they have caused more damage to the roof than there was before, to the point I have to wire up my own guttering on the inside of the roof to catch the leaks.
I ended up kicking them off site after I caught one of the stealing on camera, they then got violent when this confronted about it
Caused more damage than they fixed! Totally unprofessional! No respect for your property at all. Don’t ever use them!
Waited in for a quote , roofer arrived without a ladder so unable to survey and give quote , was promised a return visit and said would call to arrange, never called and despite several calls to office to chase he never got back to us . Wasted several days chasing .

Someone needs to report these cowboys and expose them for who they really are. The work was a joke and their attitude a disgrace. Getting them to fix the damage they caused is proving impossible. I regret ever giving them my money.
Solar panels badly fitted leaving me with internal water damage roof has now been fixed 3 months later but am still arguing with them to get the inside sorted as my bedroom ceiling has a big hole in it as well as other damage .dealing with these people is sn absolute nightmare

Having used Paul O 'Brien a number of years ago for a smaller job, and being very satisfied with their work, they were the obvious choice for a larger job ie replacing over 100 square metres of slate roofing including replacing 4 Velux windows. A quote was provided promptly, and a target start date was agreed. Scaffolding was erected by LAD scaffolding who were friendly, and efficient. The majority of the work was carried out by Ben & Ryan who were an absolute joy to have working on the property. we gave them a fob to open our electric gates so they were able to come and go without troubling us, and with the exception of the necessary hammering, you wouldn't have known they were there. They worked quietly and diligently, without the need for a loud radio or a lot of shouting. Unfortunately despite providing one of the market-leading membranes, we had a batch with a manufacturing default which allowed rain in, prior to the slates being laid. Paul O ' Brien responded immediately by covering the roof with tarpaulins, and then painstakingly peeling back the tarpaulins and refelt and battening the entire roof. I shudder to think what would have happened had I not been using a company with their resources. I found that everyone I dealt with in the company was friendly and respectful, I would also like to mention Kate & Jade in the office who were brilliant at keeping me up to date and dealing with the issues when we had the membrane problem. I am very pleased with the final result and would have no hesitation in recommending them.

We used the services of Paul O'Brien Roofing in the later winter / early spring to provide a complete new flat roof covering which was necessary due to a poorly executed job carried out some 5 years earlier.
The speed, efficiency and professionalism of the company was impressive from start to finish and the job completed to our satisfaction in good time. Several extra minor items were established during the course of the works and which were communicated clearly and with negotiation these were completed free of charge which we felt was a nice gesture in this day and age.
They agreed to keep the scaffold up for several weeks longer so that we could paint the front of our building during the lockdown so this helped us no end.
All-in-all we are pleased with the quality of the work, price and speed with which the works were completed and can recommend.
After reading some of the poor reviews which mostly seem to be from several years ago all I can say is that PAUL OBRIEN ROOFING would take some beating if my experience of using them is anything to go by.
We received a comprehensive and detailed quotation from a very knowledgeable and friendly survey guy and chose this firm to renew our roof.
The guys that did the work were polite worked hard and left everything spotless every day. Our new roof looks stunning and several of our neighbours have had roofs renewed by Paul O’Brien since they did ours.
I wouldn’t recommend anyone else if your looking for a roofing contractor
