I had a conservatory built by this company. As part of the work they had to move an outdoor tap to make room for the conservatory. The plumber they used worked on the plumbing inside and outside my house. I had a kitchen fitted after the work on the conservatory was finished. About 11 months after it was fitted I discovered a significant leak on the pipework that had been installed by Orion's plumber. It has damaged my new kitchen ruining the base unit, the draw under the cooker, the laminate flooring and kick boards. There is black mould behind the units which has made the kitchen smell. I complained to Orion before they changed management, they wouldn't accept responsibility for the damage. The new management won't honour the 10 year guarantee and will not take responsibility for the poor workmanship. The flags they laid outside all started to move and the concrete crumbled. They did repair this though again it showed poor initial workmanship. Now the pointing on the step they built is crumbling. I would not recommend this company and would urge anyone else to read all the reviews not just on here.

Very disappointed that after several years of been a loyal customer we have gone back with 2 issues and Orion have failed to accept responsibility for either. The first was leaking from the windows after fitting and the second was building an Orangery over a sewerage pipe that then collapsed costing thousands of pounds. This company are fine until something goes wrong then unfortunately seem too arrogant to hold there hands up.

A few years down the line and the conservatory is falling apart. Cracks have appeared, the fall has dropped and the doors don’t fit due to insufficient footings. The guarantee isn’t worth the paper it is written on as they refuse to transfer it even though we contacted within 30 days of buying the property.

Service appalling requested quote for door happy with price just needed to decide on glass. Was told he had put the choice in post two weeks passed went back to showroom as not received. Promised this would be passed on, still nothing no phone call nothing, as we really wanted the style of door (engineered wood) we went back in she again said would stand over Paul and make sure he called us, so we can make the the order. Nothing how rubbish is this would definitely not recommend they do deserve to be in business as cannot even be bothered with the customers. How do these people keep their jobs no idea. Had to give one star but do not even deserve one.

Conservatory that took weeks to build! 0 🌟 would be better. Cement poured down a drain now causing damp issues. Was promised this would be sorted but can’t even get to speak to anyone now! Garden was left in a mess, paving ruined and internally plaster cracking. Wish we had never heard of Orion.

I wish their was a 'no star rating' this company is rubbish, l have called this company out four times and things are still not sorted!! The grouting in the brickwork is terrible and allows water to collect , plastering was done while blindfolded, skirting board screwed through the face and damaged, cavity wall filled with rubble and rubble hidden under plants/hedging in my garden and screws/nails, bits of wood and a general mess left in the garden.

Poor quality control Poor installation Poor customer service Had 3 Windows installed 27/04/16, guys were an hour late. Installation complete but with 10+ snagged over the 3 Windows including chips in the glass & damaged frames. I keep calling their installation manager and leaving messages for call backs, but they never do. Considering that the snags are chips in the glass an scratches to the framed plus poor installation I'd of though they'd been able to sort these asap, but no return call to date.

AWFUL company wont honor a 10 year warranty as I WAS NEVER TOLD I needed to get this transferred into my name when I bought the house. Back door fitted really badly blows a gale through it and leaks on the floor. not even interested as it was previous owner who bought the doors. Was told by member of staff the cert couldn't be transferred no problem and that she had actually done it. Orion windows DON'T BOTHER!!!!

Our build was always going to be a problem because of the age of our home and the lack of straight walls. Orion were aggressive in their tactics to get us to commence the build &, due to holiday/work commitments, we only had a small window of opportunity & they were adamant that it could be done in that time. The reality was very different. Once they removed the building to the rear of the house, which was supposed to take 2 days but took 4 - if the people who did this were actually onsite for a full day on any of the days it would only have taken 2, that secured our property they informed us they couldn't complete the build before we went away because the lack of straight walls made the build problematic!! Really?? We were left with chipboard securing the house and only after kicking up a fuss did they install a custom made sealed double glazing unit to secure the property while we were away for three weeks! A series of visits by Orion staff who turned up with only half the kit to complete the job, wrong parts, incomplete work instructions. Sometimes they would turn up at pre-arranged times, sometimes not. When we made arrangements to be at the property, around work, appointments would be cancelled at short notice. When we said we couldn't accommodate an appointment via email, as requested, they would turn up anyway. These delays meant subsequent work, plastering, had to be cancelled and re-arranged at short notice and when it was finally ready our original plasterer was not available. When the plastering was complete the Orion electrician came to complete their work and promptly put a hole in the newly plastered walls and left site without mentioning it. Not a huge hole but, when you have just paid £400 for plastering, another irritant. The communication and customer service for this company is appalling and project management non existent. Emails went unanswered. Calls to the director, predominately, not returned unless the next payment was due. They have finally finished the conservatory with snagging, April 2014, but it was started at the end of August 2013!!! There is an outstanding amount of less than £250.00, our error as we thought we had given them a cheque for the full amount when they had finally completed snagging, and quite amazingly we have received two letters in under a week....just a pity they were not as on the ball during the work. To be very clear, we love our conservatory but the process leaves you with a slightly bitter sweet taste that could have been avoidable. It is well built and the majority of the staff who came to our home, mostly contractors, were very good and very professional. Unfortunately the director of the company can not be described as either. It was also very competitively priced BUT if we had known the stress, cancelled work commitments and time it would take we would not have chosen Orion and would have willingly paid extra for someone to take away the stress. I was glad that I read another review site, unfortunately after the work started, and thank the contributor who said do not make final payment until all the snagging was completed. It was the best advice ever as I am convinced we would not have a completed product now. Engage with Orion at your own risk.

Had two doors fitted by Orion, excellent yes No they quoted me one price then changed and try to tell me i made it up. Doors not my speciality how then could i make the price up. They added VAT after and didn't tell me. Don't use this company.
