Bi-folding doors fitted, with numerous errors and issues including Glazing missing on original fitting, corrected weeks later. Door locks had to be replaced due to wrong size being fitted. Door dropped and needed to corrected numerous times. What should have been am one day job took 3 months to fully be fitted. I therefore question their ability to do anything outside of replacing doors and windows. I would not recommend using this company again. Too much choice to take a risk, I'm afraid.

Once we showed interest in using Kingfisher a very pleasant man came to measure and give us a quote. Work started more than a month later than originally promised. The fitters were very good put we had problems so instead of finishing in 4 days it took 3 months. Mistakes were made with the glazing (the double glazing had marks and dirt inside it), inside casing was done in very poor quality wood with knots in so it needed painting over and over. The worst thing to deal with was the lack of communication with us and the not knowing when things would be sorted out. Kingfisher washed their hands of their 'glass people' and we needed to communicate with them directly. At no point were we contacted and asked if we were happy with the service or if everything had been finished. No quality checks were done at any point. They finally rang us to ask for the rest of the money . We spent £12680 and cannot recommend this company to anyone. They have no interest in pleasing their customers once they have their money.

I have used Kingfisher Windows several times over the years. A year or two ago they fitted windows and upgraded my conservatory and did a great job. Mike was knowledgable and helpful in putting my re-design of my very run down conservatory into practice and their quotation price was by far the best. Just recently they fitted front and back composite doors. The doors have been admired by all my visitors and I would heartily recommend Kingfisher Windows. Mike managed to source the style of door I wanted and gave the most competitive quote. There was a glitch in the measurement of my back door and I was told that the style I wanted couldn't be fitted as the entrance was too narrow. In fact, on fitting, it became clear that this wasn't the case and the style of door I wanted could be fitted. What was helpful and the reason I would recommend the firm is that they immediately said they would re-measure and re-order the style of door I wanted and without quibble. So in the end I have the style of front and back doors that I wanted and at a very reasonable price. I would add that the fitters are excellent and knowledgable, do a very professional job and are clean and tidy and helpful.

Excellent service from start to finish. No pushy salesman. All appointments attended promptly. We are very pleased with the results and plenty of complements from our neighbours and friends. Would definitely recommend.

After service poor. Gave up ringing about my banging letter box after not having my calls returned. Now have a sticking front door. I have reported it 4 times in 6 weeks and have not had my phone calls returned. All covered by warranty but feel unimportant now that I'm not buying anything new

Having just had the installation of my new doors and windows completed, I would like to take this opportunity to say how pleased I am with the final outcome. I initially had an appointment with Mike, whose knowledge and professionalism impressed me from the outset. This continued when I realised that I was not under any pressure to make a quick decision. In fact I was told to think about it, and if I had any queries, to ring him for further information. I did think about it, but not for long. Once the decision was made and an arrangement was made for the fitting of the doors and windows, Claire kept me up to date with when to expect the installers, and also kept me in the frame throughout. When she said she would ring me, she did just that. How refreshing! The two installers, Chris and colleague were also superb. They were quick, and ensured we understood how to use the keys, and told us where we could get further keys online very cheaply. They also ensured there was minimum mess. Finally the finished product. Absolutely perfect. The quality is top notch, and looks beautiful. I still love opening and shutting the new doors, and I feel so safe. So many people have admired them, and I have no hesitation in pointing them in the direction of Kingfisher Jan Johnson

kingfisher have just installed windows, doors and French doors on our house and we are pleased with every aspect of the installation, from Mike who we first contacted to the brilliant guys who fitted them. I have never seen two guys who worked so hard, they didn't even stop for breaks and were finished at least a day early. Kingfisher - Paul and Steve (I think they were called) are a credit to your company! Even neighbours have commented how they worked and the excellent workmanship.

Great composite door, great choice & great price. Did have 1 hinge come loose causing the door to become stiff to lock, one phone call to the lady who answers the phone, who is friendly, polite and very helpful, a visit the next day and the problem was solved without fuss. I would definitely speak to this lady for your 1st call to Kingfisher. I can't speak highly enough of this companies products and staff, it's how a company should be run. I needed 2 old wood framed bedroom windows replacing with uPVC. Kingfisher's salesman was friendly and polite and gave me a very competitive quote with no haggling and no suggestion that I was receiving a special offer. Just what I wanted but had failed to receive from other companies. The fitters arrived on the agreed day, earlier than expected and completed the work efficiently and leaving no mess. They were pleasant and professional in their work and the finish was above my expectations. There was no need to repair or repaint any of the area around the work site. The old windows were taken away. A small issue with an easy clean hinge which I reported through the satisfaction sheet the workmen left with me was followed up within a few days by a phone call and a service engineer visit was immediately offered and accepted. If you need new windows, invite Kingfisher to quote. I feel sure you will not be disappointed.

I had a door fitted 12 months ago. Excellent door and fitted with no problem. I had one small problem later but Kingfisher came out quickly and resolved the problem.

Kingfisher were courteous and professional from sales to fitting, I couldn't recommend them more. We had a full house of windows, doors and french doors fitted in three days and the fitters couldn't have been better; skilled and happy to do things in an order to suit the rest of my building needs (the house is under renovation). Very happy with the quality of the product and the fitted finish, thanks.

I have a detached house with 30 leaded windows that needed replacing. My daughter checked out a few companies and we decided to use Kingfisher and we were not disappointed. The 2 boys were exceptional workers and hardly took a break. They did not speak much but just got on with their work. The windows have now been fitted 3 years and I have called them once to fix some trim around my bay window. The came out within the week. Overall the windows have made a big difference to my house and I cannot speak too highly of Kingfisher and their workmen

I have now completed two separate installations with Kingfisher Windows of Drighlington and they are a superb company in my opinion. Both their quotes were competitive, both installations went perfectly and the two fitters were exemplary and utterly professional causing no mess and attending to all the finishing touches meticulously. We are absolutely delighted with our new uPVC windows (10 in all) and intend to replace our two large remaining wooden picture windows nest Spring/Summer, D.V. I would certainly recommend Kingfisher Windows to anybody who wants a really good job done!

I wanted to replace five south/east facing wooden windows which were in a pretty rotten state after nearly forty year's weathering. Kingfisher Windows are a company known to me but never used previously and just like the Ronseal advertisement "They do what it says on the tin". Their quote was competitive and very clearly laid out with no hidden extras. Their Sales Manager came out to see me in person and we got on fine. Their two fitters were absolutely BRILLIANT and I was very impressed with their workmanship and professionalism. The finished wondows are everything I hoped they would be - EXCELLENT !
