Be Aware of this Company! I contracted this company to do some tree and hedge cutting. The owner's son visited my property and quoted me £450 for the work. I accepted the quote. On 31 October they arrived to do the work. The son asked if I would like any other work done whilst they were on my property. We agreed further work for £60 - totalling £510. They subcontracted the work to another company who told me that the scope of work was not doable and they modified it quite substantially - leaving me with a hatchet job and and a very misshapen hedge. All this I could take in my stride but they were in such a hurry to complete the job that they dragged the tree limbs and debris across my lawn, stone paving and pulled them between my iron gate and brick wall - damaging everything in their path. I am left with gouges in my lawn, criss cross brown streaks across my paving stones and brick work, paint off my gate and garage door and damage to my garage door. I contacted the company on 3 Nov, the owner informed me that they had underquoted on the job. I was not quite sure what to make of that comment. Was he implying that I had to accept the damage they caused because they underquoted? He told me would contact me the following week to come around to access the damage and perhaps bring a pressure washer. He never called. I called again 13 Nov, he said he would call by the end of the week. He never called. I called today, 20 Nov. He aswered the phone and said he was in a meeting. When I asked when he would call back, he hung up. My advice to anyone thinking of using this company - think again!!!!
