EYG (East Yorkshire Glazing)

Wish I had found these reviews before buying sliding patio doors from EYG. Our builder had used them in the past so on his recommendation bought the doors. The salesman was a bit keen but the quote was competitive. Three weeks before they were due to be fitted was told it would cost an extra £249 for the white woodgrain finish, which we did not pay. Also charged £50 surveyors fee - no mention of that on the quote - which was given over the phone and we insisted on a written one. We discussed low threshold, which did not happen so our builder had to lower the frame, compromising head height. We discussed trickle vents which did not arrive, but sent on request, cheap rubbish. And to top it off the patio doors slide on the outside not inside as others do , so not been able to find a fly mesh to fit them or fit a dog flap. Total waste of money. DO NOT deal with this lot!
