As previous reviews have said, staff are useless, we have badly fitting doors, with crap silicone up the sides, lots of marks, including on the big glass that went up the top, its clearly, two gripper marks, have used them for years on various rentals but this is our house and it just keeps "giving" problems, another side panel fell out tonight, its July, we live on a hill?!!!
So sad to have to right this review, but workmanship is bad and I dread the Winter!
As much as I like the windows themselves, the actual set finish was awful. They left the frames with all the foam exposed and said their job was done. They blamed the fact that I asked them to recess them more in the framework and had to hack some of the old stone away. Granted, but what about on the stone frame they never had to cut away. They decided no work was to be done, they were finished and chose to ignore all contact with me to try to resolve the issue. Now, 10months in the external work is now showing signs of rust from the tacks they’ve used.!!!
We were delighted with our windows and doors, fitted by NLG. All staff, from the ladies on reception and Suveyors to the Installation team were very professional and extremely helpful. The men who did the fitting did a brilliant job and I would have no hesitation in recommending the company to other prospective customers. With regard to the products themselves, the windows are of a high standard and we are particularily pleased with the quality of the Rockdoors (2 installed). An excellent job all round. At time of completing this survey, there was just one cover strip to recut/fit and a broken window pane to re install but this is in hand and therefore I am happy to complete this survey before these two items are finished. Having used NLG in our previous house, we know this is a trustworthy company.
