DA are actually from Fen Road, Cambridge. A fairly simple driveway block paving job started by some edges being laid in slightly the wrong place leaving a narrow foot entrance, a wonky arc round a tree, clumsy block cutting around a drainpipe, blocks leaving less than 2 bricks below the damp course, a drain cover a few mm too high, the rear side path sloping the opposite way to what I agreed, using concrete bedding next to walls etc. etc. All cosmetic perhaps but then contrary to the (written) contract he then started demanding money for every scrap of soil dumped and every gram of type1. No receipts of course. All of these add ons exhausted our budget early and we had to ask them to leave at our great expense. We have now to undo their work and finish it ourselves with gravel to save costs. I have big regrets about the whole debacle that has cost me thousands and left me with a huge amount of work. Avoid.
