I replaced all my windows and the front door with them back in 2012 and the initial experience was excellent. Unfortunately, back in November 2018 I noticed condensation inside one of the Frech doors and contacted them to get the glass replaced under the 10 year guarantee cover. After insisting on the phone and sending repeatedly photos of the glass over email, one of their staff members came along in March 2019 to see the damaged glass. By then there was also another window with condensation, so after looking at all of them they concluded that it was a manufacturing defect from their supplier and told me they will contact the supplier for the replacement of all damaged and "soon-to-be-damaged" glasses. That is the last I have heard from them as they no longer pick up the phone when I call for updates. It is now June 2019 and I am stuck with a set of "presumably defective" windows. I may need to fund the replacement myself and take them to court to get my money back.

The contract was also for 4 windows to be easy clean and we were assured that this is something we will have installed.
Originally four out of the 9 windows installed were not what we ordered and paid for.
They all suppose to be easy clean windows.
When calling the proprietor, we were promised that the job will be corrected asap and new, easy clean hinges will be installed.
First, the contractor didn't turn up when arranged, and didn't even inform us (we cancel a client to wait for him at home).
Then I had to chase many times and finally the contractor came (without even apologising for not turning up) and changed the hinges on two windows only, claiming he could not fix the remaining two.
I have again called proprietor asking for his company to complete the job as the windows we were left with were not what we ordered (I suffer from Multiple Sclerosis and cannot climb the ladder to clean windows).
Finally the contractor came and tried to fix the new hinges. Whilst doing that, he damaged hinges on one window and frame on the other window.
He then said that those are not the proper solutions and the type of windows we had installed are not the easy clean type.
When asking him when he is coming to fix the damage, he said that we can cover it with the blinds!!!
I did not accept this as those windows are new and demanded a resolve.
I have clearly asked him if I should call proprietor, and he said no- he will talk to proprietor, find a solution and come back to me.
Since then, I haven't heard from neither proprietor nor the contractor David.
Last night I have received threatening text messages from proprietor sent to me at midnight and then about half an hour later.
He said that I will be contacted by high court and bailiff as I didn't pay the last instalment (first was paid when accepting the contract, second paid after completion and third suppose to be paid a month later.
I have called proprietor many times and said that I am very happy to pay ONCE the job is completed and he assured me that he will fix the problem.
The only positive aspect of the whole situation was the original contractor called Mark who fitted all windows. He was very professional, polite, worked hard and was punctual.
We were so impressed with his work ethic that we have sent a letter to both Mark and Twyford Windows appraising good service.
Then we didn't know that the windows fitted were not what we ordered (easy clean).
When we told Mark about this, he said that he wasn't aware that the windows supposed to be the easy clean type, he was fitting what was delivered.
Had a new front door fitted back in July, good price and a nice team of fitters, but very poor/non-existent aftersales care. The new doorframe caused a crack in my building's render, Twyford Windows acknowledged this (having examined the before and after photos) but repeatedly fobbed me off and have not made right their damage to my property. 4 months later and no effort has been made, despite clear liability. Would not recommend.
Twyford Windows recently fitted some PVC casement windows for me. Wonderful guys - their fitters had me laughing all day. Left my house exactly as they found it, which was important to me. And the windows are gorgeous. They've made a real difference to the house. It's really warm and I've got rid of all the Georgian bars, which is a relief and far easier to clean. Happy to recommend them and they're all local people too so I'm happy to support them.
I read a negative review from years ago on here but have to say this certainly wasn't my experience. Looks like things have changed. Polite and courteous, the guys at Twyford Windows were professional through out. They quoted me a good price for a window and followed up with emails and did the work on time. No complaints from me. I've attached my deposit receipt to show the job was done.
Twyford Windows service was excellent. Really friendly and helpful, plus competitive prices. They answered all my questions to do with what options were available. I had a tricky window with an odd shape but they pulled out all the stops and put in fantastic frames that I'm really pleased with.

He replaced our double glazing and we found the service to be highly proficient and speedy. In addition to being a great window installer, Kevin helped me set up the Twyford Together Business Forum. Kevin has a heart of gold and in addition to his great ideas, he is always willing to put himself out to help people, especially the elderly in the village. For instance, he helped build the conservatory at the Age Concern Day Centre and did all the work for nothing. Would recommend.
First class service. Fitted my new door with minimum of fuss. Offered the most competitive price and showed up when they said. Couldn't ask for more really.
