Absolutely appalling in every respect. Windows made wrong, customer service is dreadful. Surveyor lies through his teeth. Communication is non-existent. Avoid.

I used this company approx 10/11 ago. Having rung them today to have some basic maintenance repairs (glue/resin has melted and spread along the frames) - they are not interested at all. Despite me saying I recognised I was out of my guarantee period and I'd need to pay for the repairs, they were STILL not interested. They said I'd have to contact a local repair glazier. They admitted they are only dealing with clients who are within guarantee and new business!!! Charming!!! What they don't know is my Mum is looking to have new windows in her recently purchased property and I've now told her not to use this company as they clearly don't care!

I was in a hurry so chose Prestige Glazing on recommendation. I was told verbally several times that the cost would be around £1500 so was surprised and alarmed that the written quotation was around £2000. It was nearly 8 weeks between paying a deposit and the installation of the door - much longer than I anticipated. However I was very pleased with the work of the installation crew and I am very pleased with the resulting new door and doorway.

I contacted Prestige Windows after the patio door glass shattered in August, during the recent hot weather. In this period of Covid 19 and lockdown, I knew that getting it replaced may take a while. I had used Prestige before about six years ago I had a rear door a two windows done which both still look like new, I was very impressed with the service then so wanted to use them again. This time I wanted a new front door and seven windows. From the outset the staff are very friendly no pressure and very knowledgeable. Once I had chosen what I wanted it didn't take long before I had a very competitive quote and everything measured up properly and final decisions made. It took the guys three days to fit everything which had its problems being an older house but every issue they found a permanent fix for and made sure I was happy, they are very skilled hard working people. I think Prestige Glazing is a rare company where the staff the product and the price are excellent. My only complaint is that I ran out of tea!! Cheers, Paul.

Prestige Glazing supplied and installed seven PVCu vertical slider windows. We were extremely pleased with the installation. Those who came to do the work were very meticulous in their work. The windows looked very smart after they were installed (friends have already commented on this) and we have felt that the house is much warmer. We will now be able to open the windows easily if the weather is hot and yet can still feel they are secure. They worked very well as a team and ensured that any marks on the floor or adjoining walls were put right. We appreciated having a local firm where the windows were made on the spot in Bedford. The work was completed in two days and we would heartily recommend Prestige Glazing to anyone wanting new windows.

I requested details for an orangery and Steve from prestige sales, came round with some ideas, and built a computer design for us to look at. My wife and I were impressed and pleased there was no gimmicks or hard sell tactics. The surveyor, Simon came round and after checking soil and drainage details, advised us that John and Craig Hurley would come round later and check details to lay a base and retaining wall, and lay in drainage. This was done expertly, without any problems and on schedule. When base had settled , The installers, Mick and Shane came with the frames and pillars and proceeded to check measurements. It was quite obvious these chaps were good. This was not an ordinary conservatory, it was an orangery and precision was essential. I watched these chaps working and was impressed by their team work. Happy and polite, despite working in some appalling weather, they cracked on and when finished it was superb ! The attention to detail was unbelievable ! I would have taken a few shortcuts, but these guys pride themselves on a job well done. The end result is so much better than I expected. Good quality materials, and a very attractive building, the Prestige team have excelled themselves with this project and I can honestly recommend their company for any glazing projects , discerning customers may require. Well done lads !
