We have had replacement fascia/soffit/eaves roofline and guttering fitted. All the existing materials were removed exposing the existing roof structural carcass. We purchased approximately 70m of Fascia/Soffit/Eaves/Tile vented support tray-bird guard /Guttering from Omega Lifestyle (order number1557); The external finish to the fascia is Rosewood and for the soffit a cream colour. The guttering is a dark shade of brown in colour. The soffit was installed in what is termed a ” Dutch Style”.( visually as tongued and grooved planks) The application is for a 1986-constructed Bradstone walling bungalow. The cream colour is a good visual match for the Bradstone. The cream colour also provides a visually pleasing effect to the underside of the fascia. The soffit installation includes 20 penetrations for the exterior lighting, extract fan louvres, electrical cable routing etc. The detail design / visual effect; of the completed roofline needs considered. This is only possible when the existing has been removed. The Omega Lifestyle staff ensured both a practical and visually pleasing solution when the installation required such an approach. The installation staffs are time served/honoured tradesmen with a wealth of experience enabling a successful installation to be completed. Omega Lifestyle has achieved a good balance between both providing a satisfactory installation ( in accordance with the UK building Regulations) at an acceptable/reasonable mid range cost. We are very pleased with the overall result. The work was carried out following the initial release of the UK population from the coronavirus lockdown period. The three members of the installation staff performed their duties conforming to the UK governments social distancing and hygiene guidelines.
