We recently had various works done by the Walkers team. This ranged from replacing blown double glazed units , fitting 2 new windows complete and secondary glazing a large 100+ year large round window.
The quality of the new windows is superb- they feel and appear more substantial than many others . The replacement of the units was neat and imperceptible. Finally the large period round window was thoughtfully and seamlessly secondary glazed . I was a little worried about this round window conversion at first as I was keen to preserve its character whilst saving energy. John Walker was extremely reassuring and promised me I would be happy with the result. So true - brilliant job I am delighted.
I must also mention the fitting team who were polite, efficient and a pleasure to have in out home. They left everywhere beautifully clean and tidy.
Outstanding in so many ways. The price was a lot cheaper than all of the local competitors as well as offering a higher spec on the finished product. The removal and installation of the old/new conservatory was a very slick operation. Absolutely no complaints at all. Very pleased.

The quality of manufacture of the units is excellent so clearly WWW have a regular and quality supplier of their units.
However it is the workmanship and professionalism of the fitters that deserves the most credit, They keep me fully informed at all times, politely and courteously answered my questions and went above and beyond what would ordinarily be expected from them .

I don't normally do reviews, but having two new windows fitted today by Phil and Sam, I felt I must say how thrilled I am, and would definitely recommend Walkers Windows to anyone, John is so friendly and helpful, not at all pushy, and the quality of products and workmanship is excellent.
I had a replacement window unit in the lounge and a replacement glass pane in the conservatory. The replaced items fitted perfectly which is a plus for the intial measure up survey. Both the glass and frames were blemish free and clean- and were kept in this condition during fitting. The finishing touches with sealant were very neat .
The fitters were punctual, pleasant and tackled the work briskly. All debris was cleaned up and very little residual tidying up was needed.
I have used this firm over a number of years and the standard of work has been consistently high. There is never any hard sales pitch either- simply a quote and then you make up your own mind if you want to go ahead.
This is a company you can trust. Arrived on time fitted 6 windows all look great. I would like to say thank you to Walkers windows for a great service well done.

Phil and Sam worked tirelessly and meticulously throughout the week with great professionalism. We were a little concerned that having new windows fitted would mean that we’d have to re-decorate several rooms, but that was not the case. In fact, Phil and Sam worked with such great attention to detail to the extent that the window sills and adjoining walls were in a better condition than before, meaning that no re-decoration was needed. After each day’s work they tidied up any mess so that only a minimal amount of dusting and hoovering was required. They did a stunning job and I have no hesitation in recommending Walkers Windows World to anyone who is thinking of having new windows etc. fitted.

Replacement conservatory, window, fascias and soffits. Excellent products replacing those of greatly inferior quality. Equally excellent service and workmanship, again, far superior to previous supplier. All waste materials removed, site left very clean and tidy each day. Excellent workmanship on the three windows we had replaced, the fitters worked very tidily. Whilst doing those windows they took the time to adjust our front door which was sticking (fitted by another company a few years ago) so they really went the extra mile for us.

Walkers Windows were a recommendation by several family members local to the Milton area and as soon as I spoke to John, I knew he was a professional.
Upon an inspection visit, he explained that my doorway was on the smaller side which would limit the number of options I could have, but invited me to his Leek showroom to see the models I could purchase. After a wonderful chat with his wife, I quickly decided on my door style and colour and received a quote within several days.
Given the COVID impact, there was a longer delay to install than expected, but this was no fault of Johns. When the install team arrived, they were a pleasure to talk to and immediately set to work. They did not hesitate to address any questions I had and they cleaned up all the mess outside, without request.
Overall, absolutely stellar service and I'm already discussing having my windows done too! Big thank you to John and his team!
Had John come out and measure the windows before Christmas and I’ve just had them fit the windows doors and bay window and I couldn’t be happier. Phil and Sam were very clean and professional from what I’ve been told as I was working when they were there to fit.

Just had a Solidor Composite front door fitted by Sam & Paul today. Arrived on time, both very pleasant. Measured the opening again to make sure everything is as it should be and got on with the install. Dust sheets all around the work area, then old door out new in.
Great professional install and tidy area afterwards with old door taken away for recycling.

Having had a new front door fitted last year a little fault had occurred whereby the ‘porthole’ window would no longer open.
Following the recent restrictions of COVID-19 I didn’t expect an immediate response. How wrong I was ... John called me straight back and two of his most excellent fitters came out to repair it within the following few days and the door is as good as new. In fact, after they cleaned it all with antibacterial spray it looks a lot cleaner!!

I had a new front door fitted today by two young men from this business. I am delighted with my front door which looks fabulous and very impressed by the young men who fitted it. There was no time wasting and they left my hallway as clean and tidy as when they arrived. Like the friend who recommended them to me I will certainly recommend them to others.
I walked into Walkers Window World showroom to ask for a quotation for windows and a front door which had been specified by the local planning officer. I gave my telephone number and the following day received a call from John Walker in which we arranged a visit. This was the start of a "Rolls Royce" service. John called and viewed the property without any hard sell and arranged to email a quote which I received that evening. I was very happy with the quote as it was £500 cheaper than a competitor. John also arranged a follow up visit to measure the windows and door. We agreed a start date. When the start date came round the fitting team arrived and start work. I was very impressed with the way the team routed my landline cable thorough the side of the door and concealed the internal BT wiring within the door paneling. All waste was removed from my house. I have no hesitation in recommending Walkers Window World. Excellent workmanship.

I am really pleased with the colour, the security features and the precision of the fit. The fitters were extremely polite and extremely tidy, removing all old fittings and making good any edges. Another superb job done by John and his team. This is the second time that we have had Walkers Windows and we haven't been dissapointed on either occasion. The first time we engaged them, roughly five years ago, was to fit UPVC windows but this time they came to do a much more difficult and exacting job, to create two completely new windows from scratch. From the cutting out of the brick outside, to knocking through and fitting the windows and finishing the timber surrounds with decorative mouldings, together with plaster boarding the surrounding area, this job was craftmanship at its best.
Needless to say we wouldn't hesitate to recommend John and his team, as they have been superb on every aspect of the fit. Many thanks for a wonderful job done.

We have used Walker’s over a number of years to install a complete set of 15 new windows and doors.
An older property can present a number of challenges, which for us included installing windows in a number of rooms with oak panelling. This they completed without any damage to the panelling.
We have always found John to give sound advice on the best option and to say if an idea would not be in the best interest of our property.

We have lived at our address for a total of fifteen years when we moved in our house was new but for some reason had double glazed wooden windows.
Over time the weather despite reapeated staining took its toll on them we were visited on many occasions by window company's who just happened to be in the area they were normally from the big multiples we were quoted £15,000 to replace ten windows and the front door by one company you can imagine our shock at that price .
As a result of recommendation by an extended family member we contacted Walkers Windows their quote was competitive no where near the price quoted above.

The added touch of a thumb turn lock on the inside is brilliant - so we can lock the doors from the inside without searching for keys whilst leaving it possible access from the outside by key. The fitters were fast, efficient and polite. All rubbish taken away and when the job was done any (minor) damage hat was cased had been tided impeccably. Great service and value for money and most of all the type of people you don't mind having invade your home.
