Hi used this company for windows and doors on a new build hinges on bedroom windows were wrong and the building inspector said the should have known better the hinge covers on the by fold doors changed colour and fell to pieces also I now have 4 windows which are full of condescension between the pains I've complained to them and they say reapeatedly this is our policy not can I come round and have a look there not interested I think they must be using substandard materials never again .dont use this company

Horrible and disastrous experience with Mr Window. Do not make the same mistake! The original order was placed in the end of February 2016 for two patio doors, three double doors and seven single doors. After an extensive research the order was placed with the supplier on a promises and assurances that the goods will be delivered and installed within 4 weeks as per agreed specifications. Time and goods quality was of paramount importance to us and that was reflected in the price which we did not mind as long as everything was done on time. Three weeks later we were informed that the lock systems for the entry door has been discontinued and we had to choose another lock system that was already delaying the project. The first batch of the doors have arrived for installation on 1 April 2016. It was noticed that all single doors for bathrooms were with clear glass instead of frosted and were immediately sent back for replacement with no time frame indicated for new production and installation. Further problems have appeared with the installation of two by-fold patio doors. After visual and physical inspection of so called "installation" it was found that the screws were wrongly fixed to outer frame that has made the whole design unstable and caused constant jamming of by-fold doors. On top of that the door handles were of a wrong colour!!! with cheap and flimsy Chinese made locking mechanism. It was promised to be replaced and re-fixed on the second installation date two weeks later. The installers did not show up on the second installation date blaming us that we should have confirmed a day before the installation that was already agreed! We believe that this was a blunt excuse to move dates forward because they never had products ready. At this point we are 4 weeks late on the project! After numerous emails and complains, new installation date was set for 9 May 2016 and then due to their heavy work load were moved again to the end of May. At that point we have run out of patience, cancelled the whole order and officially requested full refund and compensation. The installers have refused and we are now taking this matter to the courts. My verdict for Mr Window: Unethical, unreliable, unprofessional. Very poor communication and service. Avoid at all costs. My recommendation. If you want a quality product and professional service go for the large manufacture and professional installer with proper and tested production facility that you can physically see.

They can't even get a quote out the door, what hope have you got with them doing any works on your house. Trust me avoid avoid avoid!!!!

Ordered 2 replacement windows and a composite door with side glass. Salesman kept changing details on the quote which I had to ask to amend about 6 times. Even changed the colour of the door from my requested colour of black to red. Was a bit of a shambles. When there was an issue with the door size, I requested that someone come out to double check, but this was ignored. I used my own window fitter, and he told me they had fitted the front door with a lever lever handle instead of a standard secure front door lever pad system. I sent them an email about this, but again was ignored. Definitely won't be using this company again.

I have had a truly poor experience with Mr Window and would definitely not recommend them. This is a shame as the workmanship was good enough, however they did the wrong job and at every step of the process there were problems, be it them turning up two hours late or not contacting me when they said they would. The meat in the pie however was that they gave me the wrong job – I wanted fixtures, which was quite clearly defined at the initial quote with a man called Brian and later on with the surveyor. Somebody drew arrows on the windows on the contract, which apparently is the universal language for windows opening and as far as they are concerned that is that. The whole point of me getting the windows was to increase security by having fixtures rather than openers, which is what I explained twice to them. When I contested this, they said they would look into it and come back to me via telephone – instead, they sent me an invoice and a letter threatening the passing of my details onto a debt collection agency if I didn’t pay in seven days. Bearing in mind this was the first invoice I had had from them and it comes with a threatening letter! Absolutely incredible. These people are cowboys. I called them up to ask why this had happened and they said they could amend the windows at an additional charge! I could probably have contested this further but I’m worn out by it and I did not want my credit rating effected by them passing my details on anywhere. As I said, the work is good enough, it’s just the wrong work! I also fear that this company are so incompetent that the dispute would likely go on forever and it just isn’t worth it. Avoid.

They didn't turn up on agreed installation date then when they came the leaded windows all had to be replaced as pattern were different on each window and the bevilles were a different design to what we had chosen. Had to call them out recently as one of the windows were leaking.

appointed Mr Window to replace windows in our family home, the fitter arrived immedialtely started work, seemed in a rush. he worked in a way that he wanted to, not as we had asked and been promised. having cleared several areas, our wishes were not listened to. the workmanship was not to the expected standard, several of my friends have commented on what looks like bodges or mistakes. when we spoke to Mr Window, Mr Glen Cain the owner, we were actually insulted by his comments, saying we got what we paid for, and that the quality was of an industry standard. thank you for ruining our home, never again. if you were my worst enemy i would not wish this company upon ypou

We recently had a front door done by Mr Window and we were very pleased with the service for that but we then decided to also have the cladding done at the front of our house and the service has been awful lack of communication the job has'nt been done as they measured up incorrectly and they have just left it and not contacted me to sort it out even though I have called them several times I am disgusted how we have been treated and fobbed off so I would'nt recommend them now.

New back door looks fab. Thank you for doing all as promised. a cracking job done. Feel so much safer. Can't wait to show my family. Will be highly recommending your company.

I would just like to say how pleased I am with my new front door and windows. I cannot fault this company from start to finish. My wife and I was very worried about mess having recently decorated however there was no need the fitters left our house clean and tidy it was a joy to do business with this company. Looks good, it was fitted well and very clean working, fitter was a quick worker, the fitter is an excellent representative for the company and was very friendly. 100% all round!

Just had our windows and porch fitted by the team at Mr Window. Absolute pleasure from beginning to end. All staff helpful and always at the end of the phone if required. No more droughts and peace of mind with their special 'Bur-glas'. Thanks again Mr Window.

Very please with our recent installation of windows to our home, excellent finish and great quality. Very good installation team and very pleased with the finish. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mr Window in future. Good value for money too and by far the best price we had after receiving 3 quotes.

I am very happy to recommend Mr Window and were 100% satisfied with their work. We had new french doors and new facias and sofits we were very pleased with the advice that we were given, the products supplied and the installation. From start to finish the experience of using this company was most enjoyable. We had obtained 3 quotes from other window companies but Mr Window was the only one who acted in a professional way. There was no disparaging of other companies, no pressure, and the price they gave us was realistic. It was a refreshing approach. The windows and doors are first class and more than pleased with fitters and everyone who we came into contact at Mr Window.
