2 upstairs bedroom windows fitted. But not fitted well? It’s like sleeping in tent that any minute liable to be blown away? 5 times Company people been out. 1 tightened all door seals then back 2 weeks later used sealant on everything possible, still same problem gale blowing in? He was back again and decided someone had to look at outside underwindow sill. 2 weeks later someone appears, again looks at it from inside but then tells me 2 man job he will have to come back.. 2 weeks again pass, 2 men appear, the one who came to door hadn’t a clue what he was here for although other block was the one who told me it needed 2 men. They talk with each other then decide wrong ladders with them and of they go yet again. I speak to Rory in office and tell him want to speak to director Ian. He was in a meeting but would call me back? Next day, calls back and arranges to come out following week, He decided after looking at window he would have to go away and think about it? Haven’t heard from him or anyone since. 3 weeks must be some think? In the meantime I had roofing people out who had a look At my slates etc under window and they were of the opinion badly fitted and look like it had been bumped as dents in bottom of window which wind could be getting in. BonAccord have done no sealing on outside whatsoever. I have MS with facial neuralgia associated with it . I am also 75 years old and this is how they have left me? I went with them although most expensive for this?

I bought a front and back stable doors and a kitchen window. The doors are beautiful. However they were not hung properly. I couldn't lock them - they shook in the frame. Dealing with this company was awful. I was told I would get *used to them." After many emails and phone calls the CEO came out to inspect them. I had a neighbour and a friend with me as all the problems were pointed out. Eventually the doors were rehung and work well. Then I discovered my kitchen window would not open. I did not contact the company. Now part of the bottom of one of the doors has come off and I will have to contact them again. Goodness knows how long it will take for them to respond to my complaint.

We contracted with Bon Accord Glass to add an extension onto our home. The initial planning stage went fairly well and we negotiated a fairly keen fixed price (though we knew we were paying a premier for the full project managed service but since we are time poor at the moment we were ok with that). Overall dissatisfied with the whole process. We spotted during the build process some fairly sloppy mistakes (insulation being missed from some areas for example). They corrected what we identified as errors but given we were not present at every stage of the build we don’t know what else has been over looked. Our window sil has been replace twice and is now acceptable but by no means great. We have had a leak which they blamed on the existing house rather than the extension (house is 5 years old and we never had any leaks before the extension was added). They also unexpectedly invoiced us an additional £3,000 for digging deeper than expected foundations which we are disputing at the moment. Overall a dissatisfied customer and stressed customer who paid a premier for a fully project managed, high quality finish extension. We have a room now that we use a lot and is ok, but overall wouldn’t recommend Bon Accord Glass.

We got 5 windows & 1 door installed end August 2014 - job was finally completed Feb 2015 due to our main window in living room having to be rejected more than 7 times with their glass supplier, not to mention the inconvenience of having the window installed twice & scratches found once installed. Give Bon accord their due they did try their best to resolve the problem, but the lack of response on the progress & constant chasing by email, letter and phone was very stressful. as waiting almost 6 months was ridiculous. We were told that as we had a large window ( which I wouldn't have said ours was that big!!) scratches & flaws could appear so would warn anyone that if their main window is large to be prepared for a long installation! We had asked for compensation due to the inconvenience, but our two requests were ignored & they obviously thought our request was not justified!

I had a door and windows installed in 2014 was impressed at the time with the service and had had no issues since until this week when my key felt very sticky in lock and was concerned I wouldn’t be able to secure door. Called Bon Accord quoting my 10 year guarantee code and within 24 hours there was a joiner at my door who fixed the issue. The whole process was an example of how customer service should be , great communication and great service.
