I was unable to go through with an order for new uPVC windows/door with Osborne's owing to circumstances outside of my control and Osborn's, but I was very impressed with their professionalism and customer service during the initial process and wanted to let others know especially if they have a job at height. I have a top-floor flat, and Osborn's proposed and would have booked in scaffolding to work at height and be able to undertake what was a bit of a slightly tricky job that big companies (i.e. Everest) did not even want to bother quoting for because of the height aspect. The admin team (Jo), sales (Tim) and measuring (Danny) teams were thorough and responsive. The quality of the windows I was hoping to get looked fantastic. The payment schedule was transparent. Although I haven't been able to proceed as planned at this stage, I would highly recommend Osborn's.

Osborn replaced seven windows and a door at my property. The job was completed to a very high standard and the installer, John, is a genuine craftsman who takes pride in his work and makes sure everything is done properly. The only negative comment I would have to add is the turnaround times. From beginning to the final finished and installed product, this process took almost seven months! If you have the patience and wherewithal to wait, then it is well worth it.
Just had some new French doors fitted and they look great! The fitting was quick and professional and to a high standard. There was a significant lag between ordering the doors and fitting but in the current climate and all the interruptions to supply chains globally not all that surprising. Osborn were good at letting me know what the status was and managed to get me an earlier fitting appointment which was much appreciated. Definitely recommend.
Had a front door with top/side light sandblasted glass fitted. A professional service from the start. I chose Osborn as I was impressed with the time taken to explain all aspects of the installation; type of door, security and fittings, glass and colour options after listening to my request and questions. We had four new sash windows fitted, replacing very old Crittall windows. The windows are of very high quality and have massively reduced heat loss and noise. To be honest, the initial install did not go that well and we weren't happy - but the team at Osborn Glass responded really quickly, positively and professionally. The senior team came back personally for a day and a half and made everything good at no extra cost. Given this great response to our problems I'd have no hesitation in recommending the company.

In 2021, the window required an internal part replaced. The item was sourced and installed by one of their craftsman in November. From start to finish the customer service was superb! Osborn Glass fitted 9 windows for us. At first I was convinced I wanted wood windows but the upvc options were such high quality that I opted for those (thank you to Colin for showing us the picture archive of uPVC photos the company had already installed, really helped us to decide)!
The team was incredibly professional and timely, always getting back to us within a few hours whenever we got in touch. As soon as we paid the deposit they organised for the surveyor to come and measure, and they then installed all the windows while we were on holiday! Very satisfied with our new front door. Five stars for the whole consulting, ordering and fitting process, which was extremely smooth and professional at every turn. We have no hesitation in recommending them and will be asking them to replace a series of windows later this year. They aren't the cheapest around but we still found their quotes to be fairly competitive compared to other local companies - and when you factor in the quality of their workmanship and the hassle-free customer service it's more than worth it.

We went with Osborn Glass because out of a handful of providers they came out the best value, but also had really good reviews. I'm so glad we went with them. Communication was a tiny bit slow in the lead up, but i understand that an exact date can't be given due to other jobs- so my advice for people in the future would be to not rely on the rough date they give you! It may be sooner or later.

Good job. Handsome looking windows. Guys got on with it although I had r to turn off the rap 'music.' Further, when they had to replace the orginal in one section, they were in and out very quickly.
Point about the tiny crack: Osborn had spotted it but asked to go ahead with the installation, given that much of the work was to provide a framework. Fine by me. As soon as the replacement arrived from the manufacturers, they moved quickly to put it in.
I am delighted with the UPVC windows that have replaced three 80-year-old wooden windows that were rotting. Osborn’s staff were particularly patient when I had to delay the installation and then made a minor change to the glazing. The installers were fast and efficient.
Finished product was absolutely fantastic and the fitting team were really courteous and so quick. We were warned there might be a bit of collateral damage during the installation but this didn’t materialise. Communication throughout Covid was great and when all our windows were received to the warehouse they were very quick to arrange fitting.
Would 100% recommend and won’t do wooden sash again having seen the quality of the finished product.

They tend to be at reasonable cost (not the cheapest) and the products and service have been very good.
We most recently had to have a kitchen sky-light replaced that was broken in a heavy storm.
Covid-19 got in the way of the process and the replacement time was significant as a consequence; but, the process was logical and professional.
Ultimately, the guys that actually replaced the double-glazed unit were good and seem to have done a great job.

I’ve had Osborn Glass windows fitted twice in the past few years and on both occasions it has been a happy experience. They are a responsive, knowledgeable, competent and helpful team with a good range of products on offer. I’ve just had replacement sash windows fitted in a conservation area. Normally Councils require conservation area replacements to be wooden. However, Osborn recommended their Ultimate range and provided evidence of where these UPVC windows had been granted planning approval by many Councils for installing in conservation areas. Armed with this information my planning application was approved and their good looking and high quality UPVC Ultimate windows are now fitted at a much lower cost and lower maintenance burden than wooden ones. I went to Osborne glass recently when a much loved large mirror (probably from the 1920s/1930s) was smashed in our home. We wanted the mirror to be re-made to fit on the existing back plate. The shape of the mirror required hand bevelling around the edge in addition to cutting to an irregular shape. I did a lot of research to find a supplier that could do the work. Many other suppliers could do part of the job but not all of it. Most other suppliers could either not cut the glass to the exact shape or could not bevel the edge of the glass. Osborne Glass said they could do the whole job and that's exactly what they did. The bevelling of the glass was done by hand via a subcontractor known to Osborne Glass. It cost me more (as you would expect something hand made to cost) but the finish was fantastic and the final new mirror looked exactly like the one that had been smashed. We were really pleased with the work. Great job and really nice people to work with.
Osborn Glass offered some good advice upon ordering our windows and were not your pushy when it came to sales or window specs. We had new french doors, sash windows in a bay and two standard windows replaced. The fitter Jim was very professional, friendly and clearly took pride in his work and always kept the area tidy. We're really pleased with the windows and new doors, it was a tricky job with lots of 'making good' to be done. Jim took care in ensuring it was completed to a high standard and that we were happy.

Great Service all round associated with installation of five windows in a top-floor attic flat. Good, patient and honest advice given on window types and qualities and a particular model was sourced that was atypical to their ranges. The team repositioned a phone line without damage, took down and put up tricky blinds and curtains and moved antique furniture with care. The staff have had careers in associated businesses and know what they are talking about, I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

Osborne replaced my old warped aluminium windows with PVC in a my period conversion flat. The street side widows were replaced with the acoustic glazing for sound deadening and has been a great improvement. Great, clean, high quality work was done. I have had the large sash windows of my Victorian house replaced with UPVC double glazed windows from the heritage range, with a wood grain finish; honestly you can hardly tell the difference from the original look, except that the new windows are solid, secure, draft free and incredibly stylish. I've already noticed the difference in heat retention within the rooms and noise reduction.

'Osborn Glass' installed secondary glazing on a large bedroom window in a 7th floor flat right in the heart of central London. It was required to block out the night-time noise from a local youth club and night-time railway track works. From the initial inspection by the company's assesor, who spotted several things that reps from two other companies failed to identify, I was struck by the professionalism of 'Osborn's workforce.
On the day, the two-team installers arrived on bang on time. They went out of their way to minimise the mess and were really polite, friendly and super professional. After two hours the glazing was installed and everything left clean and tidy. I couldn't have wished for a better service. The end result is a clean-looking, stylish installation. On the first night and every night since then I've enjoyed wonderfully quiet and "normal" silence at night time. Sheer bliss!
I'd also like to mention the effienciency of the 'Osborn' back office. Whenever I called or emailed my questions were answered promptly and in a friendly fashion. I wouldn't hestitate to use 'Osborn' again..

Osborn installed 3 French Doors (glass doors) with a 10 year warranty for me. They were professional and polite. I hired Osborn to replace doors that another door firm had installed, and that were leaking water after only 5 years.
Osborn's doors have much better seals, they advised me how to improve the design of the old doors to make the new doors more water resistant, and they gave me a warranty.
I am very happy with their service and product.

We bought a 4 bedroomed Victorian semidetached house in September 2015 and decided to replace all the windows with double glazing, plus replacing the back kitchen door with a glass door and sash windows in the Dining Room with French windows. This was quite an undertaking. We were particularly anxious not to change the appearance of the exterior of the property any more than could be helped. At the same time as we were doing this we were having the house rewired, some chimney breasts removed, replastering done and a new kitchen fitted.
I saw the type of window I wanted on display in Osborn windows` premises in Lancaster Road, SE26 5QQ and invited their sales rep to visit. We had received visits from another firm but found that Osborn windows` rep was much easier to communicate with. He listened patiently and intelligently to our ramblings about our requirements and went to enormous trouble to explain what was possible and brought samples of a variety of sash window types to show us. He did not put us under any pressure to buy the more expensive windows and eventually we did a kind of mix and match of the top of the range and the less expensive. Fitting the windows involved co-operating with and working round the schedules of the builders and complications caused by the fact that we did not wish to move out while the work was done. The work proceeded incredibly smoothly, considering the complicated schedules and any slight mishaps or concerns we had were promptly dealt with. We felt very supported all the way through, even after the final account was paid, the sales rep coming round personally twice to deal with adjustments to one or two windows and French doors fitted in the Dining Room.
We would heartily recommend this firm to anyone looking to replace windows.

Osborn Glass and Windows replaced my old wooden sash windows with the Heritage PVC range with wood trims. I have to say they look fantastic! There seems to be much more window space, they are so clear and even though I was dubious about fitting PVC windows, I now wish I had changed them sooner! I wanted to use and support a local company and their prices were comparable with bigger window companies out there but the window quality is far superior than what I had been shown by others. Danny is professional and always got back to me promptly. The men who came to fit the windows were polite, punctual, worked later than I expected the days they were here and did a great job. Would definitely recommend them to others.
I have just had one single and one double sash windows fitted. by Osborne Glass and Windows. I had aluminium ones fitted 25 years ago and was a little dubious about changing to UPVc but the fit of these Heritage Windows has given slightly more window area.
I see that there was a comment left by Miss Jones and can only duplicate what she has said. I chose a middle priced product which I am very pleased with, both style and finish. The advice I got from Danny was spot on, he took the time to show us different models, and explained in depth how they would fit into the "hole" in the wall. He was extremely knowledgeable and was not the least bit pushy. The fitters came on a day that suited me, they were punctual, and tidy. I didn't catch their names - but thanks guys. When the time comes for my front windows I will definitely use Osborne Glass.
We had windows and a front door replaced, a few of the windows had to be rush jobs as other work was going on and Danny and his team managed to complete everything within times as promised. The work was done to high a standard and Danny's team of fitters were friendly, polite and very tidy. We had a grain put on the front windows and door and even had people knocking to ask asking if they were wood or not. I would definitely recommend Osborn Glass to friends.
Very very pleased with Danny from Osborn Glass and Windows. We have had lots of work done in the house and had various problems with builders and others and were so relieved that there were no hiccups for the door. Very profesional service, great quality door and very good price too. I would highly recommend them.
I recently had a new front door fitted by Osborne Glass and Windows. I am very happy with the finished product and found the fitter, Kostas to be polite, punctual, and tidy. What more can one ask for?
The customer service provided by Danny , the manager is second to none. during my initial consultation , he patiently took the time to answer my questions about the many different door stlyles on offer. Unlike some people who I have come across in sales, Danny was very knowledgeable and was not the least bit pushy. A day after my door was fitted, I had a small issue with the door. I called Danny and he popped by to look and remedy the issue at 7:30 the next morning which allowed me to get in to work without being too late.
I would definitely use Osborne Glass and Windows again and have already recommended them to a neighbour and a few friends who have commented on my new door.

Osborn Glass replaced two kitchen windows and a back door. They are very professional fitters arrived promptly on the day, worked very neatly and cleared all rubbish on completion. I would definitely recommend them.
Osborn Glass and Windows undertook 3 different glazing projects for me, as part of a house refurbishment project; 1) a coloured and textured glass feature aluminium frame window for the stairwell, 2) sliding reeded glass kitchen wall-unit doors, with thumb-pull cut-outs and 3) 2 internal 'windows' to allow light from the stairwell into adjacent rooms (one being an irregular shape, with part sandblasting). All pieces were made up to my own design ideas, and they worked well with me to make my ideas into technical reality. They did the work for me over the summer of 2014.
The final quality of the workmanship on all products is excellent and we are very happy with the results. The feature window in particular looks fantastic and we've had lots of comments on how good it looks - our stairwell now looks like a cathedral, apparently!
We had a few technical/design issues along the way, but these were resolved quickly and courteously to our satisfaction. Their communication was very good - I could always get through to them on the phone, and any queries were dealt with straight away. I would definitely recommend them to others and would be happy to share photos of their work in-situ.
