Problems with our conservatory leaking since we had it done, aftercare non existent. Repairs fail, Beware, all nice and helpful until they've had their last payment then you're just a nuisance to them
Their sub contracted fitter badly damaged our home whilst never finishing the installation of a front door.
We have since had another supplier remove their door and replace it with one that fits and have had the repairs to out home carried out. We are about to return their rubbish product and go about getting our deposit refunded - through the courts if necessary as a point of principal.

Front door supplied in Nov 2020 was warped by Dec 2021. They came out in Feb 2022 and effected ‘repair’ which involved taking a plate off the frame and said they would supply a new door. No contact from them for months, calls not returned and excuses when we called. Finally fitted ‘new’ door in October 2022, which is damaged and they acknowledged they saw it was damaged when they fitted it. Job still not complete as parts missing and no date when they will finish. Contacted owner (Sheree Osborne) who doesn’t respond to emails. Took advice from CAB and requested a refund but told us they don’t give refunds- apparently Consumer Law does not apply to them!!Now taking them to court and they don’t care that we are doing this. AVOID SOFTVIEW AT ALL COSTS, I couldn’t give them zero stars in this rating, sadly.
A trend with all the negative comments. We have had a substantial conservatory built, not finished although signed off a few months back.
Snag lists not completed, despite assurances of being corrected.
These guys even measured it incorrectly resulting in a compromise in terms of fitting and alignment to the base.
I really wouldn’t recommend these guys to anyone, dreadful and combative customer supplier relationship.
But yet we wait again for the snagging to be sorted.
I don’t even know where to start. The fitters didn’t turn up until gone 9 every day. One Friday they didn’t even turn up as one of them was going to a concert in the evening. They said they were coming Sunday so we waited for them and they didn’t show!
We have a dog and a toddler and we kept finding shards of glass and screws even though they said they had tidied up.
The plasterer and electrician were amazing and worked incredibly hard.
The fitters had to return because we were so unhappy, they painted the metal supports as someone was taking the tiles up in our conservatory. It was mentioned that they would be dusty and the fitters said that softview were desperate for their money!
A painter was then sent to fix the mistake, he did an amazing job and was here a few hours where as the fitters painted them in 15 minutes.
I was then dealing with Steve and said how unhappy I was with the fitters and I didn’t want them to return to correct our guttering and he assured me that they wouldn’t be back and if it came to it he would do it. As a softview van pulled up at 8:30 I thought that maybe we had been listened to but no it was the original fitters again!
Our neighbours want to replace their roof like we have done but I am going to have to tell them to find someone else.
Billy has just called again asking for the final payment, no offer of a discount with all the issues we have had.
Avoid at all costs - they say they are a family business but they are not at all!
The service was good until the window was fitted. Since then we have had water ingress through our brickwork, which is being blamed on everything except their workmanship, despite us having an independent opinion carried out by a builder after they sent someone to take a look. We have lived here for 3 years and never had an issue until they cut the hole in the wall for the window. It has been dragging on for months now and Softview Conservatories Windows & Doors LTD have no intention of dealing with the problem and are just passing the buck. We have called, emailed and got nowhere so they either don't care or are well out of their depth. Very disorganised and shambolic - use them at your peril. If they accept liability and deal with the problem in the correct manner then I will happily update the review accordingly.
Paid 3998.25 deposit, they cancelled 2 days before, they refuse to discuss deposit back.
That money is part of my pension money.
I am now 72 years old.

i have had my front door replaced by softview in colchester last September and it was the worst decision i have ever made the service from start to date has been appauling having the installation manager shouting at my wife on our door step to the door not being able to be openened and no firm resolution on any thing all calls never responed to i woild habe given 0 star rating if possible
I would not be able to recommend this company. They fitted a conservatory roof for me, once I had paid a deposit they lied about what i had ordered and tried to get more money from me, fitting was ok but had to keep an eye on what was going but the big bug bear is after care, this what really make a company or not, basically if they have your money already you will get the run around.

plans done but later found some of the existing features were not allowed for so in the build the design had to be compromised so i did not get what expected.
calls to office not returned
floor had to be dug out after 4 months as damp course fitted wrong.
opened doors today they will not close have been told they can't come for 3 weeks,
so no need to break in to my house just walk in through the open doors but if you could close them on the way out that would be great.
The quality of the products is good and the windows are very nice. However, my house is rendered and I was reassured it would all be made good. Wrong. The repair jobs have been appalling. I had to get the repairs re done around every single window and now the front door, done today, is just as poor. I've taken pictures I'm so angry. Not only that I was told by the fitter " we do windows not render repairs! " so the salesman was just trying to get my business was he? I am disappointed in them and very angry. I still owe them some money and they are not getting a penny out of me until the job is done properly. Don't use soft view. Tony, the window fitter who did the repairs again around the windows and did a good job on the actual window fitting is the only trustworthy person there. The front door clowns just wanted to rush and leave. Don't use soft view, especially if your house is rendered.

I just had Softview Conservatories install new doors and windows in my home and I'm so happy with the experience! They were super friendly and helpful from the get-go. They really knew their stuff and helped me pick out the perfect windows and doors for my home.
On the day of installation, the guys arrived on time and worked quickly and cleanly. They were really nice and respectful of my home, and even took the time to show me how everything worked before they left.
I'm very happy with the result, I've gotten so many compliments from my neighbors.
Overall, I would definitely recommend Softview Conservatories to anyone looking for new doors and windows. The team is knowledgeable, friendly, and they really care about making sure their customers are happy
