Sorry I gavce them one star on as that is too good for them. Since writing that, we had them back to re-align guttering which they did and we thought that would be it! No, rain two weeks ago revealed they had removed the piece of guttering causing our conservatory to flood and fitted it on the other side. Whilst is rained, we saw water pouting down conservatory glass. I went up the ladder to discover the water would have had to go uphill to go down outlet and where they had joined this piece it was not sealed so water was coming through the bracket, despite the asmount of masic they had used and love to use!". Had three Company's to have a look and all agree the guttering around bungalow and conservatory do not drain as they are fitted incorrectly. Yesterday, we had a Company who had to remove conservatory roof tiles to enable them to remove guttering and they have discovred even more hoorors, taken video and I have been up the ladder to see for myself. The lead used has bubbled and they put screws through it which you are not supposed to. Roofing felt is missing so brings into question how waterproof it will be in the future. The gulley they made was not sealed and they removed the bungalow guttering to reveal they had used the incorrect material so water could have worked its way in. We have now paid since paying them, a further £2,500 to have the job put half way right. I cannot believe other people have not suffered in this way. The photos of the workmanship are horrendous and I would not recommend them to anybody. No receipt issued for our money and guarantee is nul and void as we would not wish them to come on our property to put things right. Defintely does not relfect their brand new website image and I have since spoken to someone who had two new doors from them and they are not fitted correctly!! Definitely not highly qualified workmen.

Had Guardian Warm Roof fitted on 24 April 2023 on our existing conservatory for £10,570. The job took 2 days and plasterer 2 days. I was not happy with guttering as it was not even clipped on and I knew water would be floosing off it onto ground. When rain came we were proved right! Had two second opinions and each one said it needed taking down and redoing! Velux windows are not finished off and on investigation have been damaged and one is twisted and both just finished off with silicone, not the appropriate kit. Mark Dennett never went on the roof to see what I was talking about. We had 4 bungalow tiles replaced by them which were not the correct size and paid another £325 to have these replaced. Went to Trading Standards and they have listed everything against their Company. Emma Dennett was good at responding to calls, but neither her nor Mark really acknowledged there was a problem. 5 year verbal guarantee is not acceptable and should be in writing as Trading Standards pointed out. Work overall not of an acceptable standard. Today we are paying another £500 to a roofer who is traying to "mask" around the Velux windows to make them look finished. Would not recommend them to anybody.

The door looked great but it started sticking and so they said they’d come back. Been let down twice now - and told either 90 mins after or at the time of the event that they’re not coming. Was given an evening appointment but Emma the director told me they don’t do evenings. The message I got off the fitter was bizarre, he spoke to me like I was a child and didn’t really appear professional: i will turn up i promise il will or i can cum over to yurs tomorrow nite Emma hasn’t replied after I challenged her on her ‘resolution’ (during which she didn’t appear very apologetic) - if you look at google reviews you’ll see the follow on service is generally poor and I’d avoid for this reason.

We had a front door fitted 12 months ago, when the door first got fitted, I messaged Emma with pictures of damage caused to our home, only to be told that the damage was already there, but I sent pictures of the damage not being there before the day of the door being fitted, all I got back was sorry it much of been done and not noticed, for the first 3 months the door was great with no issues, however the door and frame wasn't fitted correctly, and after several messages, emails and calls with Emma, Mark come out and one of the works but still the door isn't closing correctly and doesn't open correctly either, large gap around the door frame and door. Had to get a key cut which they paid for as we bent it trying to lock the badly fitted door, on occasions we were locked out as the door wouldn't unlock, was told by Emma this is because the door is in the sun all day as our front is south facing, " ridiculous excuse " the last time anyone come out to sort the door was at the 11 month point of our 12 months guarantee, the fitter said he would return the following day to refit the trim around the door, still waiting some 3 months later, messaged Emma, which she received as I got a notification saying she had received and read the message, but no reply. Seem to me that they were just running down the 12 months guarantee period. Latchford Village windows wasn't the cheapest company but is a local run company who pride themselves on being a family run business for many years, I know that you can't please every customer, but you should try to please you're own customers, ie us. Regardless of Latchford Village Windows response to this feedback, OUR DOOR IS STILL NOT FITTED CORRECTLY. Nick.
