Dear Phil of Ford Windows, what a shame, you and your Co had the chance to liaise with your end user, but you seemed to want to hide behind your contract with your developer that unfortunately for you will continue to give you a terrible rep in product delivery and customer services (see Yell, Trustpilot, Glassdoor, Google reviews etc) as you and your staff will not communicate with the people who have your products installed in their houses, this results in reviews like this…. you know very well you’re fitting sub-standard trickle vents in your window frames (Yale ones which snap if you can open them followed by SF Xtra which don’t cover the holes in the frames) which undermines energy efficiency ratings which in turn makes your glazing solutions VERY inefficient. Care for the end users and listen to your SMEs, they know more than you think. All the best. Tom
This company is the biggest joke. Non-existent customer care. Fitted a window thats too small and that i can poke my finger between the frame and the brickwork then 6months later i still haven't had it replaced. Complaints procedure involves talking to the next customer service person they put on the line. If your new build is going to have Ford windows request a different provider! Please ask before letting Persimmon use them again.
I would really like to give zero stars. Called the company as our new build window has shattered and independent window company said it was an install issue and to contact the builder. After finding out it was Ford windows gave them a ring. The Woman on the phone was rude, obstructive and put the phone down on us twice. The website stated 10 year guarantee. She said no then again put the phone down. Less than 10 minutes later the website has ben updated to say 2 years. I have screenshot and photo of the wording BEFORE she made the change. So rather than deal with us they changed the website. Absolute cowboys do not ever use this company. If I could put 1 star I would
windows and patio doors to my new build were covered in glue, dirt and scratches with broken parts and shoddy fittings, I have stayed home 3 times and been let down on each occasion last minute when I should have been work in a short staffed nursing home, the manager is ignorant and incompetent
Ford windows installed the bi-fold doors on my Avant home 5 and a half years ago. One of the hinges snapped. Only covered for 2 years. When I called them they could not remember what brand they had installed and they did not stock any parts to replace the faulty ones.
As a result we are changing the whole set due to shoddy workmanship and cheap products used.
Would not recommend them for any installations.
until the other week i didn't know who ford windows were. i contacted Ford windows to purchase Beading for my double glazed window s fitted by Ford, the response I had from the receptionist was no help. I asked to speak to the customer care manager this proved to be very difficult always in meetings. The only answer i got was contact your local window suppliers. Very poor poor after care service.
Horrendous customer service. They fitted a wonkey window and have been out 3 times and it's still not fixed. Worst company I have ever dealt with. 0 out of 5.
After 3 years their doors are unusable do not use this company at any cost they will not help you and will try and charge a £250 call out fee for poor quality badly fitted doors aweful customer service rude staff lowest quality product
Wouldn’t give them 1*. Don’t know their a*** from their elbows. Shocking non existent customer service. A supposed “manager” came to look at my patio door and not only didn’t fix it, it didn’t lock before he looked at it-after he left not only wouldn’t lock but wouldn’t even CLOSE! My house was unsecured which invalidated my house insurance for over 10days.do not use this shower of a company-they couldn’t run a bath between them all
Unfortunately I was forced to deal with this company as they fitted the windows and bifolding doors in my new build home that I purchased March 2017.
It took 14mths, and many visits from Ford engineers, for my bifolding doors to actually open/work. Still now the work is not complete - some cosmetic damage that I am still waiting on.
I have had at least 7 different visits from engineers to replace some glass which is wrongly aligned at the front of the house. To date this is still not rectified.
I would not touch this company with a barge pole. Their customer service is non existent and office staff are nothing short of rude. How they continue as a company to trade/operate is unknown to me.

I’ve recently used this Ford windows to install some new windows and a composite door into a property I own.. the team that was sent out Richard & Chris were very good and so was the product!! I can only believe that the issues you have are with the builders not Ford windows because if I could give them 6 stars I would quality product quality fitters and quality price
