Possibly the worst company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with in my 30 + years in the property industry. Shoddy work, non-existant customer service and a complete lack of understanding of their contractual obligations. Could not even be botheed to come and look at the defective work and damage caused during construction of an orangery. Even after I obtained independent structural and building survey advice they refused to do anything. I ended up having to take them to court to try to get back the money I spent to put right the defects. The Court awarded me nearly £9,000 but the company even ignored this and I was only able to get my money back by making a Section 75 claim against my credit card company (I had fortunately paid the deposit on my credit card). My advice would be to avoid this or any other company run by these people.

I phoned 6 times with the same message: can't take your call at the moment.It was some Tesco mailing service to leave a message. Very frustrating. No one got back to me.

15 years ago I had new Windows and Doors installed by this Company in my previous house when they were just called Window Options. Since then despite the fact that Mr and Mrs Styler were taken to Court for taking funds out the business which caused it to collapse owing creditors lots of money and Mr Styler since telling me it was his Accountants fault and he is trying to clear his name, I went against advice and visited their showroom. Mark Styler was still there giving the sales pitch. I told him that I was concerned about the reputation of his business which would mean if I decided to go ahead with them installing doors and windows in my new house that I would not pay until satisfactory installation. Mr Styler assured me that he fully understood my concerns and paying after installation would be fine. I went ahead and they asked me to pay a small deposit of £500 which I reluctantly agreed to do. I booked 3 days off work ready for installation to begin on Monday 28/6. On 26/6 when I was away for the weekend Mark Styler sent me an email stating that Darren and Ian would be installing my order starting with the Windows and would be collecting them first thing Monday to be at my property at 10am. At the end of his email he stated he looked forward to receiving the full balance before Monday morning. I emailed back on Sunday night when I returned home reminding him that this was not what had been agreed and that the balance was being paid straight after installation and offered to show them the bank account balance showing funds were ready. Mark Styler had already emailed by the time I got up Monday at 7am stating that they needed to have the delivery fee of at least £4000 to commence work and that he had checked with the Director (his Son who I have never dealt with) who agreed with him(of course!) They didn't arrive at 10am and I didn't get any replies to emails asking what was happening and they did not answer our calls. No explanation. No apology. No promised deposit back from the Secretary which was promised to be back in my account by friday of that week. I have since learnt from his supplier that they cancelled my order Monday morning and the supplier said that the order hasn't been made because it was on order for the Wednesday!? So they were probably never coming on the Monday any way! The company are now trying to claim I cancelled the order. No apology, no explanation just blaming me for it all. They did pay the deposit back after I put a negative review on their face book page. They are now threatening to take me to court for slander and loss of earnings. This company want the full balance before installation despite the fact they have been bankrupt previously even though they keep saying it was a different company. It is the same family. Who in the right mind would hand over thousands of pounds before the work is done!? Be careful is my advice.

Appalling customer 'service'. Shoddy workmanship, never put right, and calls simply not returned (I feel sorry for that poor receptionist...). Just not interested once they have your money. Really wanted to 'shop local', too. Will always research online reviews now!

I had the same experience as Mr Dalglish, almost exactly! This company has gone into forced insolvency and the Stylers have been banned from being associated with the company for a period of 7 years for misapropriation of funds. If like myself, you feel as though they have acted dishonestly and have done a shockingly poor job on your house and wish to take legal action against them, you can start your complaint with the insolvency company at bridgestones insolvency of Oldham. If you feel as though they have acted in an illegal way and have continued to trade with you please contact cheryl lambert at the insolvency agency for advice on 02075966117 cheryl.lambert at insolvency dot gsi dot gov dot uk. Please pass this message onto everyone they have traded with since 2012!

Company did not deliver on customer service or communication. It is a shame because end product is pretty good. They seem to operate on the basis that "we have your money now and don't give a toss". Quoted 2 weeks to complete & still was not finished 3 months later. Final inspection has not taken place some 4 months down the line and despite my protests to their Managing Director he simply buries his head in the sand. Would not use again.

Mark gave me a price, promised a start/finish date and came good on both, the conservatory is great, very pleased with the work done and the quality looks great! Two small niggles, a crack in a window bead and after a few days the door was a bit sticky, one quick phone call had it sorted in a few days, good service. Would recommend !

This is a top quality company providing equally top quality products. We have had several of our properties fitted with windows throughout by Conservatory and Window Options. From our initial enquiry through to the final inspection the entire operation was conducted faultlessly. Post installation concerns, should there be any, are dealt with promptly and professionally. A small problem occurred with one of our door locks several months beyond the 10 year guarantee period but the company still dealt with it immediately. They give attention to detail and close customer relations that is sadly becoming a rareity in today's business culture. Top products; top people; top service; all you would want when spending hard earned money improving your home comforts.
