About Warmseal Ltd

Warmseal are absolutely the worst company I have ever had dealings with. We had a replacement conservatory fitted by them with a warm roof and initially everything went well. However we had issues with the initial build which the workers had to put right on site (roof beams had been measured the wrong size). Since then we have had an issue with the plaster on the roof which has started to crack. We had two separate representatives from Warmseal out who both said it needed re-plastering as the joints hadn't been sealed correctly and they would report this back to the company. I have since been on the phone just about every week for the past 7 months trying to get them to fix it to no avail. I have been promised return phone calls which have never happened and lately I have been told that the site manager, Gerard Hiscock, has been sent numerous e mails from the reception staff asking him to contact me to remedy this but he has so far not bothered contacting me either by phone or e mail. Once this company has your money they are not interested in any form of customer service and any attempt to speak to someone who will take responsibility in dealing with it is met by deafening silence. Atrocious company and atrocious customer service. Use at your peril!

We requested a quote and when he arrived he was being really nice and not pushy in the slightest, so we agreed to sign with him at the quoted price. No paperwork was signed or exchanged, I might add! Over the next two days, I did a little research and found that Warmseal had called in the administrators last year, had recently changed their trading address but were still trading from the old address and a very poor review of work they had carried out so we took the decision to cancel. I phoned them first thing on Monday morning and spoke to a pleasant lady who said she would escalate my request. 5 minutes later, the rep called and proceeded to speak to me like a child - telling me repeatedly 'How very, very disappointed in me he was' because we had a 'gentleman's agreement'!! This made me blow my top and tell him in no uncertain terms that if this is how he does business then I was no longer interested in talking to him and promptly hung up! Steer well clear is my advice!!

"Built" a conservatory at our house in 2015. The workmanship was absolutely appalling. I have never seen such a disgraceful attempt at bricklaying from a supposed expert. It took numerous attempts to even build the dwarf wall for the frame to go on top of and even then they didn't get it right in the end. It is the first time I have ever had to "repair/correct" brand new plasterwork before it could be painted. They had to use expanding foam to fill the gaps along the roofline it was so badly put up. The self levelling floor for the tiles to go on was not even close to being flat/level. Their "expert" designers planned a gutter downcomer in a location it was actually impossible to fit correctly and had no steps for a 2 foot drop to ground level. The communication between them and the sub-contractors they used was virtually non-existent. It was basically weeks of hassle and aggravation chasing up supervisors to get numerous faults/errors corrected that A) should never have happened B) they should have sorted themselves. To cap it all off, bits of the conservatory just actually fell off only days after they finished. From the experience we had I wouldn't trust this firm to put up a tent in a field.
