Took the money and never finished the job and when asked for refund and they completely ignored it and don’t answer any phone calls or respond to emails
I have no option after over one month waiting to take legal action
They have few companies and there Director Virender Singh Mann is arrogant and rude.
Please avoid this company at any cost
Avoid this company at all costs - we had 5 new windows installed in our home by Sunny Eco. Not only were they fitted incompetently, with literal gaps through to the outside left unfilled, leading to significant damp and draft problems.
But even worse, they were fitted so unsafely, that there could have been a catastrophic accident. Our large sash window was only secured using 4 short screws - all of which were secured into rotting or loose wood. Had we not had a builder in to fix the window, it literally could have fallen out on the our neighbours doorway directly below.
To remedy this we had to get our own builder in to fix the problem - who said he had never seen such an incompetent or dangerous fitting in his 30 year career.
Sunny Eco has shown zero regard for a) the incompetence of their fitting and b) for any prospect of doing anything to remedy the problems they have caused. They have no care whatsoever and are comfortably the worst company I have ever had to deal with.
They are vack in business same name different phone number same old problems .... don't go near . Also as they officially don't do bust you can't claim on the insurance.
Sorry not including proof of purchase although I did on a previous review.
A petition presented by HMRC being a creditor to wind this company up was due to be heard by the Court on Wednesday 26 October 2022. The Eco Home Improvement business premises in Albany Washington were shown on-line as being permanently closed the previous week. I believe that anyone trying to recover money from this company is likely to be unsuccessful & Companies House are unlikely to help.
Scammers! Take deposits and don't forfil the work or refund money paid. Contact Companies House as they are in the process of being struck off to try and get your money back. Phones have been disconnected so can't contact the Company and still have the cheek to put new advertisements on Facebook. Utter disgrace!
Dealing with this company has taught me 4 harsh lessons
(1) never deal with anyone who is touting business via door knocking
(2) never pay anyone any money until the job is completed to your satisfaction
(3) make sure the contract (in my case not worth the paper it's written on) specifically details ALL the work that is to be carried out
(4) read some reviews BEFORE dealing with a company
I though removing my patio door and fitting a windows with brick/block infill would be so straight forward. What a mistake to let these clowns anywhere near it. Given my experience I am surprised that anyone can give these jokers anything above a 1 star (0 stars would be more appropriate). Luckily I probably paid them a fair sum for what they actually did but apart from the windows (which seems so far to be OK) the remainder of the work (the internal stud wall) was so amateurish and poor quality I ripped it out. I waited so long for them to do nothing with many promises, even a visit from 'Darren', but nothing. They left me with no external brickwork, not even a frame sealing up the hole. I had to do that myself. In the end I did the brick/blockwork and got a great local chap to do the plastering.
Now I'm waiting for my 10 years insurance backed guarantee which I know won't materialize since they haven't been a member of CERTASS since 2019 despite their web site saying that they are. It's pure fabrication.
Don't touch ECO Home Improvements with a barge pole. They are Cowboys.
Please see my previous review October 2021. The Companies House website now shows that a First Gazette notice will appear on 16 August 2022 to advise that company will be struck off within 2 months of that date. The company now has 2 years Corporation Tax accounts outstanding. To the people giving the company 5* reviews Eco Home Improvements does not carry out the actual work themselves but subcontract this out to other firms. If they subcontract the work out to skilled reliable workers then a good job will be done. If they give the job to a bunch of cowboys then the converse will apply.
The company is very quick to collect payment but unresponsive for incorrect installation. The company started the job but never finished.
Called them many times to finish the job.
They hardly pick the phone up and if they do, they say, the engineer will come out to finish the job. The engineer never turned up! Communication is a nightmare. It's been almost a year since I signed the contract and the job is still not done.
Avoid this place!!!
Eco Home Improvement Ltd made an unsolicited cold call to my home telephone that is registered with Telephone Preference Service both pre-Covid-19 & post lockdown.
Brian a self-employed salesman for Eco called at my house on Friday 30 October 2021 in connection with a kitchen refit. He took kitchen measurements & after units, tiles, white goods were selected gave me a quote. Brian had not brought a kitchen refit contract form with him & had to return with this the following day. The contract was completed and signed. Brian insisted that a bank transfer was made rather than a credit card or cheque payment for the £2,610 initial deposit which was made on 31 July 2021. On 10 August 2021 I became aware that due to the company's accounts for the year to 31 May 2020 being outstanding Companies House had that very day put a first notice in the London Gazette to advise that this company was to be struck off within 2 months. This would be the 1st full 12 month period of accounts that the company was required to file after Mrs Clare Anderson was appointed as a director during April 2019. As I was within my 14 day cooling off period I immediately informed Brian by text message & the company by email and Recorded Delivery letter that I was exercising my statutory right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations to cancel this contract. Brian contacted me on Wednesday 11 August 2021 to try and establish the reason for my cancellation of the contract. He was informed that I didn't need a reason but if I did I relayed the above-mentioned information to him. He seemed to be unaware of the Companies House action & said that he would need to discuss this issue with his director. I subsequently got a phone call from Darren at Eco on 19 August 2021 who initially tried to change my mind over the cancellation of the contract. He also advised that due to representations made by Eco to Companies House they had been given a further 3 months to rectify the situation concerning the missing accounts. When he became aware that this wasn't going to work he informed me that he would get on to processing my refund the following Monday 23 August 2021. Despite a further 2 Recorded Delivery letters to the company I have still not received any further contact from the company or the return of my deposit up to 26 October 2021. A Small Claims Court notice of claim was consequently issued for the recovery of my £2,610 deposit on 6 October 2021 and the company had up to 25 October 2021 to respond. I have as yet to receive any confirmation that any response has been made by the company to this claim. All of the above-mentioned information about the outstanding accounts which have still to be submitted and the Companies House action can be verified on their website. I will leave it up to you as to whether you wish to deal with this company.
After quite a delay a kitchen fitter and a trainee tunred up at my house. This guy took 2 weeks to fit my kitchen but quite often the 'main man' (Lucas Martin) turned up on his own and didn't ever work a full day ever. Eco's kitchen designer said that a wall couldn't be knocked down. It could but I took him at his word but later found out that it could as it had been done in other houses along my road. Brian has apparently had many years experience but he really screwed up the kitchen design. I repeatedly asked for the 3D design but it never appeared. I live in a three bedroom house so it is a family home and the larder that was fitted is far too small. The worktops are really not good and not what I asked for or was expecting. The fitter didn't fit enough cupboards and, even though I paid in full, I kept being asked for more money and I stupidly paid it as I thought that the fitter was coming back. Units are not fitted properly. No flooring (which I have paid for), no plinths, my floor was not levelled properly, I had to get rid of my old kitchen at some cost. The sink is the wrong colour. I could go on. They have promised to come back after two fitters visited my house. The plan that they were sent by Eco was different from mine, which were sent to me by the surveyor while he was measuring up. I was even told that, because the fitter was no longer working for them, they were not responsible for putting things right. B S. I paid them direct and when I pointed this out to them, the phone was slammed down on me because, apparently, I shouted at her. 20 months on I am still waiting but I have been promised that my kitchen will be sorted. My complaints and concerns were ignored for months. When I told someone in the office that I had recorded my conversation with Brian, I was told it was entrapment. I told Brian clearly that I was recording the call as it can be heard. Why would he be worried about entrapment if he was being truthful? Contact me on 07928 906570 and I will give you a virtual tour around my kitchen. I spoke to Darren, one of the 'main men' and he told me that kitchens are too much trouble and, given the choice, he wouldn't bother with them. The only one who appears to have taken my complaints seriously is Scott. Phone calls are rarely returned, and regular phone calls quite often do not a response. My advice? Go to any other company as it is really hard to get a response to any problems. 20 months (even taking into account Covid) is too long to wait.
Had a refit to a small downstairs shower room. Despite being told a team would be onsite and it would take a week only 1 person showed. A nice man but not a bathroom fitter. A weeks job turned into 3 and he had to call in his brother to lend a hand. After he finished I noticed a couple of things hadn’t been done such as the floor was missing a small piece of covering and some beading had been put around the doorframe which was not straight and there was a leak in the sink which in turn dripped into the vanity unit. . I asked the company to fix this and despite saying they would I am still waiting almost a year later. I asked to speak to the person in charge but despite leaving a number have not had the courtesy of a reply. The work would only take about an hour to fix.
we ordered a new shower unit sink basin and toilet also new kitchen workbenches the order was placed on 28/9/15 work started on the 30/11/15 after three days we cancelled the contract dut to the standard of workmanship
My opinion, I will not be using them again the Workmanship and Aftersales is appalling I’m surprised they still trade.
We had our Windows replaced in June, despite having much lower quotes from SafestyleUK who we have used in the past and were excellent, but we decided to go with Eco Home Improvements.
The installation was a farce, at least 6 glass units when inspected by us after fitting had either been scratched on the inside the Double Glazing or on the outside. These were replaced but after they had been reordered, installation took weeks for what was relatively a simple job.
We also had a new front door fitted , this was the next issue, when the door was opened or closed the whole frame moved, again Eco Home Improvements came back and fitted a strengthening bar “ Why was this not fitted the first time “.
From the 2 sets of French doors fitted one set became unusable as the doors “dropped”; again after numerous calls and failed promises they came out and adjusted the doors. I had been promised by the salesman and receptionist, that I would be contacted direct by the owner and the manufacturing manager, I’m still waiting.
I have since had trouble with a window which would not lock in the part open position, another visit and the whole window refitted correctly. Other issues included excessive use of Silicon Sealer , Windows left with fingerprints and silicon on the window, I now have the front door which is showing signs of movement , I dread the next set of phone calls………...
I have not included everything or this would turn out to be war and peace.

Looking through other reviews I can see that on the whole the company appears to offer a good service and quality. However, my gripe is that, not for the first time, I have been telephoned by the company on an unsolicited call, while being enrolled in the TPS (Telephone Preference Service) which is supposed to prevent such calls. It is all well and good the caller saying "we will remove you from our list". It is supposed to be their duty to check the list BEFORE calling. As the call today from Eco Home Improvements was the fifth unsolicited call today (from all corners of the globe) you can imagine how cheesed off I am. If I was in the position of wanting some of the services offered by the company, I would not sit next to my phone hoping I would get a call from them or a similar company, plus I am pretty sure In the future should I indeed need such services I would certainly not support a company that "annoys" me. Come on Michael Finn. Get your act together. I don't suppose you would like to respond to this by advising me (and all other readers) the source of your list please.
I had my windows replaced in February 2012. Since then, I have had several problems.
When rain beat against one of the windows, it seeped through onto the windowsill. This was eventually fixed after numerous phone calls. Last year, I noticed that one of the small windows had misted up. More phone calls - and I was assured that the new window had been made and would be fitted. I am still waiting some 14 months later. Another small window has now misted up, and I was told about three weeks ago that someone would call round to inspect it, and to inspect the bathroom window, where, on very windy days, the wind whistles through. I am still trying to get these problems sorted out.
Though I was happy with the windows initially, the workmanship and after sales service has been very poor and extremely slow
Our Conservatory roof was installed in November 2013. Overall, the work is reasonable. However there were 2 problems:-- 1) One of the french door windows was left scrached by ECO Home Improvements. 2) Water ran down from the gutterringf onto the windowss when it rained. I arranged for EHI to come out with Michael. They did not turn up. When I rang up, I was informed that Michael, who was on holiday, forgot to organise the repair to be carried out!!!
I am quite disatisfied with this and want the repair carried out asap.

Company Response
We have called to see the installation re fitting new jointers on Mr Farrell guttering to find there was nothing wrong with them however his down pipe was blocked up with leaves which was causing the problem and as a jesture of goodwill the service engineer kindley cleaned it out for him free of charge as this is not part of any guarantee's or aftersales service we offer to our customers.
I have had my wetroom refurbished and from start to finish what a fabulous team. Sarah kept us up to date with when and what was happening, lovely down to earth girl who I would gladly have a night out with. Gareth our fitter well what can I say, everything had to be perfect and believe me it was and is. His son Leon was his helper and a son you should be proud of. Any customers who want to see the results of this are quite welcome to come and see it, We have told John he can bring anyone to see the results of a wetroom that I am now proud of. Huge thank you to the whole team.
WARNING! This review may not be genuine.
Eco Home Improvements have just completed a full bathroom refurbishment for me and I couldnt be happier with the end result.
The bathroom fitter was friendly, knowledgeable and quick to offer useful advice when required. The finished bathroom looks superb and is a clear demonstration of his craftmanship.
I received regular communication from the staff at Eco including several visits to ensure I was happy with the progress and to answer any queries. I have previously used this company to install double glazing and was equally happy with the results.
I have recommended Eco Home Improvements to family members and friends and would not hesitate to use them again in the future.
Our conservatory roof was changed to a solid roof in 2013 and was completed on time. We had a small water leak which was attended to by the installers and is now satisfactory . We have used the room almost every day since the work was done.
