Have a problem with a window fitted by alpine.i have left 3 messages and emailed but no reply.If they have finished why is answer phone still on.They have no idea why I am calling I might have wanted to place an order. This is a disgusting way to carry on.

Say they're FENSA recognised but when you go to find certificate you find they aren't. Phone and they went into liquidation then setup again in another name, same building etc

Company of scammers who will give 10 year guarantees on low quality work but then liquidate the company each year and restart a new company with a very similar name and claim they have nothing to do with the previous company or the guarantees they are responsible for. This company has done this numerous times over the past few years and strangely enough the company directors new co directors are always members of the Davison or Howells family...! Dodgy is an understatement...trade with them at your peril.

AVOID!! AVOID!! AVOID!! The warranty isn't worth the paper it's written on. The company put in doors then went into receivership two months after and have now re-opened and seems to have just switched names. When I rang about a problem with the doors the man who answered just said "THAT company has gone into receivership". I'll have to pay someone else to come and try and fix the doors which are leaking. I feel so sorry for the people that have handed over money to this company and are now out of pocket. How companies are allowed to get away with this I don't know.

The porch fitted in 2017 has done nothing but leak since it was fitted. Even after a long wait for a fitter to come and rectify it there is no change. IT LEAKS BADLEY. We have also recently called regarding a broken window seal and again we are still waiting (since April). The aftercare this company offers is appalling and we wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. If anybody from the Morley office would like to contact me please do. Thank you.

We had a porch fitted in 2017 and have had nothing but trouble with it. It leaks all the time when raining in various areas and we live with buckets permanently in there. Although someone did eventually call out to rectify it it still is leaking. We ring constantly for assistance but seem to get forgotten about. We have rang in April re a broken window seal and still nothing. I am very disappointed with this porch and will never recommend this company to anyone. If anyone from the company wants to contact me please feel free.

Very disappointed with their after sales service. We can’t get them to come out and look at our problem, They say they will get in touch but do not. The receptionist at their office was unbelievably obstructive when my wife called in to try to speak to someone.

Still not received the product 1 month after ordering it,after being told it would be a 10 day turnaround soI have no idea what it will be like not feeling overly confident if I am honest Fastest supplier in the UK? I would like them to substantiate this claim. Customer service is non existent Josh Parkin is evasive as are they all in the office and you will probably expire waiting for a call back. We are on holiday trying to deal with these people as we have trades lined up to complete our building work back at home the whole process has been a joke. Would I use them again ........NEVER

We had a shed roof done by this company on the 5th January 2017 at first the work looked good but it soon became apparent that the roof wasn't really fit for purpose as the guttering had only been fitted at one side of the roof therefore the other side soon became flooded when there was rainfall. The company was contacted for them to take a look at roof to rectify the problem we were assured that they would come round to assess the problem which they did eventually. They agreed there was an issue and agreed to rectify the work, we are still waiting 6 months later and all calls to the company office we are promised calls back but these never materialise we have now lost all faith in this company whilst the roof is slowly getting worse. I would avoid this company at all costs as they are not customer centric we had planned on getting further work done to our property by this company but sadly we will be going elsewhere due the lack of professionalism and standard of work done by this firm. We have decided to pursue this matter through solicitors as we have paid a considerable amount of money for this work and we have since had quotes at a fraction of the cost for the same work

Atrocious. Ordered aluminium patio doors from this shocking company. It went wrong from the off – people turning up to do site survey without pre-arranging, delivery/ original fitting cancelled last minute (night before). Finally had doors fitted and the fitter does an atrocious job – makes a mess of the brickwork, black silicon caked everywhere, plastering like a dogs hind leg, trim underneath doors left off during installment, so fitter hacks off decking without permission to try and retro fit. Lock supposed to be ‘snap safe’ – when I take it out to have a look, they aren’t - so I have to fit my own. I could go on. The fitters are all sub contracted and their only aim is to get in and out as quickly as possible I was told the whole process would take 1 day. In the end we had 9 visits from various people to get this sorted and it took several months of waiting. To top it off the doors are noisy, drafty and leak when it rains heavily. Avoid

I have just been cold called by this company. When I politely declined a quotation the phone was put down on me. I am an architect who regularly specifies windows. I will definitely not be specifying these. I have put 1 star as zero is not available.

Absolutely appalled at this company! My elderly mother had two external doors put on, one of the doors was completely the wrong door and the other one did not look like the one in brocher! They were ok taking her money, my mother must have rang them over 50 times and all she got was he's not in the office I'll get him to call you bk this went on for months in the end she gave up because it was making her ill. Think twice before you hand your money over to this company.

They'll take your money and as soon as they're any problems they'll turn nasty. If you check their business history they've been babkrupt on numrous occasions and they just reopen with a slight name change. STAY CLEAR!!!!!

Absolutely awful company! No customer service and quite frankly a farse of a company! After choosing to go ahead with Alpine for my new windows the problems began from the word go! 1st- gave me a installation date, arranged for my brother to stay the day at my new home while they were installed. As the morning past, no sign of Alpine! Phoned them, for them to tell us they had changed the installation date to the day after. You can imagine my fury. Apparently a letter was sent to my home adress but no proof of this availed. I recommended that maybe a phone call to the customers to change installation dates should be in their policy rather than a piece of paper! Jason who I spoke to at this point was rude, unhelpful and very unsympathetic to the fact people were taking days off work to wait in for them. As you can imagine I had my doubts that a letter was ever sent! Once my windows were installed, I was so pleased with them. They made such a difference to my house . I received my installation note the same day, I opened the envelope to find somebody else's personal details in my envelope addressed to me. Again this did not full me with much reassurance about the letter I was apparently sent. Did somebody else receive my letter with my details on?? Again, no help or reassurance from the alpine team, they just wanted to know when payment would be made. Over the next few days, we found packaging, silicone, screws, rubble, plastic and metal objects INSIDE wardrobes, INSIDE drawers, under beds, INSIDE ottomans, at the back of my shed, pushed down the back of units and in cupboards. We found a proxy 7cm long screws balancing on the top of my sons wardrobe. Again, spoke to the office regarding my complaints, this time we got half an apology. A week later one of the windows cracked. I understand this can happen sometimes but at this point my faith in the whole thing had gone. Alpine did rectify this quickly and did give us an £80 reduction for all the trouble. Finally we though all was over with, no, it has just taken us 8 weeks of weekly phone calls to Alpine for them to send us out the insurance guarentee for us to register on line. Again, this was not done easily, because it took them so long to do this, we had to take phone the insurance company ourselves and sort it because the membership number had expired. Even the consumer protection asscociaton were appalled at how this had been dealt with. This company is not professional, they don't care about customers, and after care, well, once they have your money they don't care.

DO NOT go there, I had 2 yrs of howling windows, had to go to the window Ombudsman eventually. The MD was rude to say the least, after my complaints of lack of sleep because of the noise and the water running through every window and door installed. He was very nice when he got the contract, but , when I complained, he was a different person. I eventually, 2 yrs later, won my case, it was a long and draughty, noisy, cold 2 yrs. I wouldn't wish it on anyone. Put them in yourself - you'll do a better job!!!!

***AVOID AT ALL COSTS*** This company is not able to produce good quality products, but are keen to take your money and orders. Once you have your windows/doors the after care is none existent! With excuse after excuse, blame pointed everywhere but with them......compensation and refunds WILL never happen - BEWARE!! Any good staff leave as the companies working practices appear to be totally dishonest. I have had lie, after lie and need to appointed another Company to replace all windows and doors and take Alpine to court. More than 50+ emails and 30 phone calls and still they lie, Lie and LIE again! Alpine are the single worst company I have ever dealt with and if you are reading this review - use somebody else....."anybody else", as Alpine will cause you no end of issues once they have your money. ***AVOID AT ALL COSTS***

Alpine Windows and doors terrible firm ignore calls and fob u off fitters were polite and clean the products are cheap and look cheap and poorly made finishing of was to a poor standard installation manager is rude and not very helpful feel like we are a real inconvenience wouldn't recomend very upsetting it was all about get the payment at what ever cost Feb 2015

My just widowed mother arranged a no obligation free quote with this company when she was collared by a sales rep at a shopping centre. The older man who turned up looked friendly and measured up and came up with a quote. When I said we were going to get a couple more estimates before deciding he turned very arguementative saying we might save a hundred pounds but wouldnt find any as good quality doors and told me that I should be looking after my mum and she wont be safe unless we get their doors fitted immediately. I asked him to write down some details about the doors so we could compare and he said no you need to get these fitted now. Absolutely discusting man trying to play on the emotions of a fragile lady now on her own. He argued and raised his voice to us for about 15 minutes before he would leave. Dont let them into you or your familys home.

Alpine supplied the french doors to Appleyard Joinery Ltd of Morley who were replacing an existing door with a wheelchair accessible one. They supplied the wrong cill which for some reason the builder fitted rather than obtaining the right one. Eventually refitted doors with "right cill"?? Result - draughty door and condensation running down the internal bit of the cill onto the carpet and the door would not latch. I got nowhere with builder so I contacted Alpine to ask if they would send someone out to comment on the fitting of their product so that I could hold the builder responsible for the problems. The director I spoke to refused to become involved as "they spend a lot of money with us"!! I run my own business and if I adopted the same approach I would be saying "I used to run my own business" An ex Alpine employee did attend on behalf of the builder saying he was from Alpine to assess the problems. He adjusted the door in order to make it latch but this made pushing the handle up in order to lock the door very difficult, my wife was not strong enough to do this. When we told him we were not happy with this he replied "the manufacturers and the fitters cannot help it if you are old and infirm". He was told it was best that he leave. Whilst I accept that this guy was not from Alpine, he had worked for them for about 20 years before going self employed. Both him and the director seem to have had the same training regime.

They sound OK from the start price was not to bad. when it came to have them fitted the windows looked OK but when the cold weather started I found a hole in the window frame. I put that wright.Then at same time I had fascia and Guttering done. In February I noticed my rige tiles was up . So I got in touch with CAF who fitted them and told what was the problem, he said he will come and have a look the same week. He never turn up or got in touch. So bye then two weeks went bye. An which time I look for some body to put I wright. Thanks to Joe for putting rige tiles wright

The windows and doors which we had fitted were fine but be warned, they will NEVER stop pestering you with their "cracking deals". They have promised numerous times to leave us alone (even the boss, Peter Smith) but they don't and it's now harassment. I am at my wits end as to how I can get them to stop ringing.

After several phone calls, e-mails & a letter I finally had a proper reply from Alpine Windows and they did sent out their service manager who rectified the problems we had raised. So far it seem to be working fine although still not convinced fully regarding my door but will leave it for a couple of weeks to se if things settle. I have to say that when Peter and the service manager John got involved things seemed to be sorted in a timely manner. I do think it is best to go straight to the Director to get things moving. I hope that the service we received at the end is the one the company envisage to give all their customers in the future. I hope it is as the windows them selves are fine and hopefully the bad experience I had regarding the after service was due to lack of communication.

despite poor reviews, we decided to go ahead with this company, after a couple of problems, which were rectified, we are pleased to report we are very happy, they went out of their way to accommodate our wishes, we had cream windows, and decorative glazing in a porthole window and an arched window to match the glazing to the front door, making the house look very different and attractive. We were also able to choose which finish we had on the window furniture, choosing a different finish on a couple of the inside windows to the rest. We have had one winter since having the windows fitted, and the difference is very noticeable, the house is windproof and stays much warmer. I would have left 5 stars, but feel their guarantee terms are disappointing and weren't fully explained either in the brochure or by the salesman.

Please ignore any negative reviews that you read!!! On behalf of a customer, I have just had Aluminium Bi Fold Doors fitted by Alpine Aluminium and am very pleased (as is my customer!) Every aspect of the order, delivery and installation has been good. The customer service teams are helpful, conscientious and reassuring! The delivery and installation team were on time, clean and tidy and did a wonderful job. I have nothing but good things to say about this company and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them or use them again on future jobs.
