Forest Fitted Kitchens

I've had my Forrest kitchen for about 6 years and suddenly two of the doors have "delaminated". On contacting the company I was first asked if the doors were near any heat, which they aren't but as they are in a kitchen that could have been a possibility! When someone came to have a look he told me it was just like a hob or a fridge breaking down!! It happens apparently!! He said he would order new doors and they would be fitted free of charge, but oh no the doors would not be free of charge they would cost me about £70 to £90 each. According to him the doors are guaranteed for six years but as my kitchen was just over six years old I would have to buy replacements. I asked for a definite price before he placed the order and when another man phoned me back with a price he told me that the doors are only guaranteed for a year but as they buy a lot from the company they sometimes give them 3 - 4 years but never more than that. So the price would be £50 plus VAT each, i.e £120 for the two, and they would fit them free of charge as their way of helping their customers. I think they need to get their story straight. They are definitely not getting any more money from me. I lost all trust in them when they were fitting the kitchen in the first place when they tried to fob me off with an ex-display hob, and I'm pretty sure we got an ex-display tap because that has had to be replaced as well. I would not give them even a one star rating but the form doesn't permit a 0 star rating.

Further to my first review regarding the skins on some of the doors peeling away,we now have more doors peeling away which is absolutely abysmal quality.We had our previous kitchen fitted 17 years prior to this by Kitchen store,and only one door had the same problem.Now after 7 years forest kitchen doors are peeling away,one after the other,and the manager tried to insinuate their kitchens are better quality,nonsense,they are second rate.

We had our kitchen fitted in 2009.The workmanship was fair,there were a few problems which were rectified in due course,though not necessarily to our complete satisfaction.The problem we have now is that the skins on 6 of the doors are beginning to peel off and amazingly they were only guaranteed for one year so we have a kitchen that is deteriorating unless we start replacing the peeling doors.We were offered new doors at cost price,but then perhaps in a few months we'll have more doors peeling.Not good enough.

we had a new kitchen fitted we have had problems. the last straw was when all the kitchen electrics sockets went they had been tripping out for a long time. we called a electrical company they found the problem under the floor . i have just had a bill for £1,3015 then i still have to tile after

I had the owner of forrest kitchen to give me an estimate I was pleased with the design he did but not very happy with his attitude he wanted us to sign up straight away he was trying to pressurise us to sign up there and then and even said to me he wouldn't have come if he knew I wasn't going to order there and then he was my first estimate but will NOT be going with forrest kitchens

I had a new kitchen fitted in mid 2014 it was a large project to say the least with walls removed and a complete new layout but forest were more than happy to take care of all aspects. Steve took care of initial sales,planning and design and did a great job, listening to exactly what I wanted and then using his expert knowledge to advise me where changes would work best without taking away from my own ideas. The quality and finish is outstanding especially considering that I paid a fraction of what some other companies were quoting for similar. There were some minor adjustments needed but coincidering the size of the project I think it could only be expected, and these were taken care of without fuss. My only criticism would be with Michael for after sales as I found him quite abrupt and at times rude, especially when requesting payment considering that work was incomplete, fitters still on site when he arrived for a final cheque, I would have appreciated an opportunity to inspect work before writing my cheque, no pleases or thank you either for my custom which I think takes the shine off my overall experience. All in all I would certainly recommend Forest to friends and family.

Kitchen fitted november 2019 Very impressed with forest kitchen. From start to finish, with planning, preparation and fitting. Advice given on planning was more than helpful, Work was planned around my days off at work, as we have dogs. From planning , rip out, plastering, electrics, fitting and plumbing. Plumber went above and beyond for us , unfortunately i cant remember his name, He was fantastic after we got a leak , Not forest kitchens fault at all , but he came back and solved it. Very happy with service and cant reccomend highly enough We are now hoping to have forest fit out bedroom

After talking to forest kitchens about this problem with electrics .they have a new crew of electricians who came and resolved this problem and done a good job .this was after 18 months from fitting .so the after sales and warranties are very good. and I will apologies for my first comments

Had a kitchen fitted recently . The whole process from start to finish was first rate .The work was completed on time on budget and to the standard i expected.
