This company is a joke. If I could give them no star I would. Don't go near them. They won't come to your house to do a survey or measure up, meaning they can blame you when they doors don't fit. They take 100% of your money before they will let the fitters come to you. And god forbid if you have any issues (which you will) because they won't do anything about it. We've been waiting over 3 months for our trim to be replaced and installed and they just keep ignoring any calls, voicemails and emails. Next step is taking them to court. They just don't know how to run a company. Their customer service skills are the worst I have ever come across, and trading standards should seriously look into them. DO NOT GO NEAR THEM!!!!

I had 3 sets of 4 metre wide doors installed on 24th September 2019. Following install one of the opening doors had a significant gap at the top which meant we couldn't lock the door and therefore couldn't secure the property. I reported this by email on the 15th October 2019. Work was carried out to rectify this on 12th November 2019, so the house wasn't secure for about 4 weeks. The fitters who carried out this work said that one of the frames needed refitting and they would report back. Heard nothing since as of February 2020. Another of the opening doors doesn't lock easily, the latch catches and needs a bit of a tug to engage so i can turn the key. I haven't requested this to be rectified yet. One of the sliding doors once opened is quite difficult to shut again. All in all, the quality of product and service is less than impressive. The company needs to put as much effort into install and aftercare as they do into selling the product in the first place. UPDATE: 1st September 2020 New Wave sent some fitters to sort the problem 5th March 2020. They said they would have to refit one of the frames and not to use the doors until it is rectified. The faulty latch on one of the other doors they would sort out at the same time. I emailed 16th June to ask when they would be carrying out the work but was advised "We are unable to do service calls at the moment due to the pandemic. Once we are able to someone will be in contact to book you in." I emailed again on the 24th August. No reply. I email today and was advised: "Due to staff holidays and personal issues there is nobody in our installations and customer services department today." So, out of three sets of doors, one set I have been advised I can't use. One set has a dodgy latch which requires pulling up so the latch will operate so i can lock it. The third one seems to operate as expected.

Good service at first, the down hill we could not pay by card we believe this is because the company are worried that customers would have the protection that a card would give them. Our doors are not fit for purpose they are poor quality and have fallen out of there frame the fittings are poor quality, we can not use the doors as they are dangerous. We have requested that they send a fitter to carry out a repair the company will not send a fitter until we pay £195 up front in cash , our doors are not yet twelve months old.. Poor quality doors, poor customer after Sales service, No card payments, and once you have purchased the doors this company could not care less.

Buy your doors somewhere else!! I only gave them 1 star because I wasn't able to give them less. So after being let down 3 times when they should have fitted my doors over a period of 7 weeks they finally arrived today. THEY ARE THE WRONG SIZE. Despite my measurement form clearly stating my measurements do not include a 50mm floor screed for the cill they are too short. To make matters worse this was the original reason I was given for them not being fitted 7 weeks ago. One of the fitters was extremely pleasant and understanding of my frustration with the company. The other one was just arrogant! Understandably I want my windows fitted as I'm about worn down with the company. So I said that I'd accept the wrong size but wanted some form of discount as compensation. Once again their arrogance showed through and was told pay the balance in 30 minutes or they go. Alternatively they could make me a new set for £1500. If they can make doors for £1500 why did they charge me over £6k at the start. Whatever you do save yourself a lot of trouble and grief. Buy your doors somewhere else!!

Terrible company to do business with. They have moved my installation date back twice. First time because they allegedly didn't read my measurements properly on their form. Have contacted them on multiple email addresses, don't even have the courtesy to get back to me. Only found out I wasn't getting my windows as planned by email one day before the agreed in writing installation date. Plus they want 100% of the money before you see anything. Good luck with that!!!

This is the worst company I have ever encountered. Their sales team and customer service are appalling. They are rude, they are overbearing, and I wish I had never signed an initial contract with them. They are also the only company I have ever worked with who demand 100% payment before the windows have even left their factory for installation. Plenty of people taking then to court - make sure you check all reviews!! I would not recommend New Wave to anyone.

Delivery was due Mon 3rd Feb, was told on the Friday 31st Jan delivery was no longer happening on the Monday due to a "metal shortage" and a delay of 7 days from 3rd Feb to 10th Feb! Thursday (6th Feb) morning (2 days before late delivery) I'm told another delay due to "unforeseen circumstances" this time for another 8 days to the 18th Feb. Nothing in way of an apology, just a blunt email telling me of an update. I'm also a trade customer, and told I'm getting priority, so I'd hate to see how direct customers are treated! I had carpenters and plasterer lined up for the 4th Feb, and decorators for the 7th Feb to finish the room, this is now still exposed to the elements, trades still wanting paid and a customer still paying crazy heating costs to heat a room with a plastic sheet for a door, not to mention how unhappy they are!

The promise of these doors is fantastic. The engineers and sales were great when we were looking at these doors at the Bristol Factory and chewing what we wanted. Unfortunately the execution and customer service post order is SHOCKING. Communication is the worst ever. Often not replying to emails at all and barely answering the phone and giving misleading on factually incorrect information about progress. The fitters were courteous but left site without me inspecting the final doors and left me with foam filled, non watertight gaps. Not using sealant or trim. Until they can fix their customer service I would tree carefully.

These doors look great but unfortunately they have serious weaknesses in the supply chain and customer service. For double to triple the price of normal bifold doors they need to do better. Would think more than twice before ordering. Sorry great product terrible execution of service

I love these doors but.... customer service is non existent and don’t honour warranty faults. The company service and support from this company had been nothing but painful & time consuming. Responses to faults takes forever and you have to pay a call out fee for an engineer visit, if deemed a fault you will get a refund... this is now the 3rd time I have had to contact the company with regards to my door getting faults, every time the service has been atrocious and taken multiple emails and phone calls before I am even acknowledged! A serious course is customer service is drastically required!!! In recent correspondence New Wave have informed me i am not a customer - My builder did order the doors on my behalf. However in the previous 2 years that i have had faults, you have always dealt with myself directly - without the requirement of going through my builder. This was also the case when arranging the original installation. However John (my builder) has been fantastic in trying to help us resolve this issue. He has has tried contacting you on numerous occasions, to which you have not responded to his calls. On the one occasion you did try to contact him he was on holiday so was unable to answer. You have also told him that the call out fee is standard, yet you told him one amount and me another. You are actually in breach of your own terms, "this is defect with the service", "you will not have to pay us to repair or fix the defect". (extracted from you terms of business from Clause 8.1,8.2). Note in clause 6.11 you state that the service call out charge is refunded in the event this is a defect. In email sent to myself, you have stated to me this is not refundable and i will be charged for any parts on top of this; so you can understand why i am reluctant to pay this call out charge, as you have told us so many lies, or different versions of your process I don't know what to believe. My formal letter of complaint is going in the post, and will be copied to trading standards.

I’d rate 0 stars but doesn’t give the option.... I love these doors. However the company service and support from this company had been nothing but painful & time consuming. Responses to faults takes forever and they are now saying I have to pay over £600 for an engineer visit, if plus any parts on top... this is now the 3rd time I have had to contact the company with regards to my door getting faults, every time the service has been atrocious and taken multiple emails and phone calls before I am even acknowledged! A serious course is customer service is drastically required!!! They are refusing to acknowledge there is a 10 year manufacturer warranty that came with the doors that they should be fixed with! This needs resolving without a cost to us, as this is a fault not user damage. I have also posted on trust pilot as I want everyone to know how unreliable and untrustworthy this company is.

Nothing but trouble with this company from day 1 of the install, to contacting customer services or should I say trying to contact Customer services. They are rude incompetent and a joke. Refuse to honour the 10 year warranty with faults. Absolutely appalling company, please don’t use it is not worth the trouble!, and would never recommend. They just want your money as soon as they have that they don’t want to know you. Had doors less than 3 years and have had to get to engineers to resolve fault twice already. This time apparently I am not a customer! Lost for words. Disgrace.

My rating is no stars but that’s not an option. I write this review to warn others that the 5 star reviews on here are not a true reflection of this company. I also saw good reviews and made the huge mistake of paying over my deposit and trusting this company. After a series of delays and lies from this company about why they couldn’t deliver the doors on the 5th failed install date I was left with no option but to go elsewhere so I could finally secure my property. They will not refund your deposit and only continue to give a list of excuses for their failure (a metal shortage that doesn’t seem to affect any other company in the UK). Thankfully my credit card company are finally refunding my deposit after they had also been given the run around trying to get a response from this company. The reviews mention they no longer accept credit cards which is worrying as consumers need protection from this company. They will not hesitate to lie to get your money and then lie about why they cannot fulfil their side of the contract. Their failures caused me so many consequential delays with my builder that I was then left to sort out the remaining issues myself. They say that renovating is stressful but my experience with New Wave was more like something from rogue traders. Relieved to have my money back and to never have to deal with them again (not that they reply to emails or answer the phone anyway).

Be very careful with this company as I learned they are nobody but criminals. In the begging I was very excited to have patio doors installed as this was my dream. Only after installation I realised the door was not only the colour I ordered but it actually came in three deferent colours. As all the colours where dark even I noticed that not immediately. I informed the company the next day so they organised the installers to come back and check that. When the installers came back they confirmed that the colours are not matching. After that I couldn’t get hold of this company. Took them to court and won the case, but they still haven't paid the refund or offered replacement. Criminal, Criminal, Criminal. We have had our bifold doors fitted for 3 1/2 years now and really loved and enjoyed using them but there is one BIG problem we have had and that is the glass units with blinds in are not fit for purpose. As you can see in the photos the blinds have made the glass units go cloudy . This is the 3rd set of glass units in this time and these last ones were changed on the 20/02/2019, and were as the other two sets really good till the sun shone on them, now we cannot put the blinds down because from past experience they get worse when the sun shines on them and they fogged up Now no one will return our phone calls we must have phoned about 30 times over the last couple of months and left messages on answer phone, sent emails and still waiting for Claire to let me know when this matter will be resolved. Last Thursday I managed to get a young girl to answer the phone and she said Claire would return my phone call but still waiting. We are very sad and disappointed with the service they are now giving us.

New Wave Store Ltd - Avoid it like the plague New Wave, it doesn't give a s∗∗t. It should have no stars, how it manages to manipulate the review system I have no idea but if you are reading this to decide whether to buy from New Wave you should know that I have been informed by so called Senior Manager Claire Warren, I quote, she 'doesn't give a s∗∗t' about resolving failed glazing in our so called 10 year Guaranteed New Wave doors. The service department of New Wave 'doesn't give a s∗∗t'. The doors are very poor quality, the service from New Wave effectively non existent. The whole experience of New Wave is riddled with poor quality, broken parts, cancelled dates, leaking installation, delays, broken promises & now the true explanation, New Wave doesn't give a s∗∗t. It took New Wave the best part of a year to fix the problem when the first slide door broke so we couldn't use the rest, they had to remain in the closed position. You can buy this design of slide and swing door from other sellers, avoid New Wave like the plague.

We saw this door on exhibition at Home Renovating Show. We ere very impressed with it and even though it cost more than a regular bi fold door, we went for it! I am writing this review to warn you. It has been a heart wrenching journey. We had the doors installed at the end of 2016 with our new extension. Customer service was very helpful. Emailed us all the necessary papers for warranty, PAYMENT and installation date smoothly. Since the installation, I have had problems with the doors. The main opening door keeps dropping and scrapping on the bottom. The installation team knew of the problem and told me that the company will be informed. No one came back, so I started calling customer service. Months on, the problems still prevailed. At first the company sent a man (Keith) to fix the door. Keith just tightened the hinges or add some washers to lift the door. Needless to say the problem was never fixed permanently. Then they sent someone else. This time, the serviceman removed the door, did a couple of “things” and the door was seemed fixed for a few months until winter 2017. We never used the door since we don’t go to the garden during the winter months. Come spring/summer we discovered the same problem recurring. I called customer service, Graz was no longer working there. Sarah/Katie took over. I explained the problems with the door. They sent Josh from manufacturing. He checked the door and discovered that the sash of the door needs to be replaced. He explained that the sash keeps dropping and therefore caused the problem. The tightening the hinge and adding washers would only temporarily fix the problem. I called customer service and Sarah then told me that they were informed and that they are going to replace the sash. Months on, no news. I called and left voicemail regularly. I also wrote emails. In August 2018, customer service set me an made an appointment to get the sash replaced. I stayed the whole day, no one showed up. I called and left voice messages. I even wrote emails. One fine day Kathy answered. Told me that Sarah is on leave. I waited and continued calling periodically. All was silent. In November 2018 Katie finally took the call. Informed me that they has supply issue. This would be sorted by December. Come December, customer service could not be reached again. Finally, in early February, Sarah took my call. Told me that Kathy is fired. That she would personally attend to my problems now. Yay, right? No, she hasn’t called me back as she promised. The office is a small one, so that means it’s limited as to who you can find accountable. Customer service basically do what they like. It’s April, I have called left more than a dozen messages. The company is busy with yet more trade shows. Ideal Home Show. If you are reading this, I would really ask you to think again. New Wave Doors are unique. Which means you can’t just call on anyone who can fix this problem. That is one of the reason why I persisted for so long. I am sure I am not the only one facing these problems. Forward this to anyone intending to buy this door. At this point, I am considering seeking legal advice to help me. Sad thing is, this company has a good product, great sales team but awful (x 100) customer support and product manufacturing. Look at all the reviews and you will understand. I sincerely doubt that their positive reviewers are genuine. UPDATE New Wave contacted me after my review via Trustpilot. Asked for the details of my contract. Gave them immediately. My invoice number is BR30151 CS Ref: 16210 They have found my contract and said that customer service would get in touch with me within 24 hours. I will update this platform. Update 3 May Claire has contacted me via email. Said that they have arranged the door to be fitted on 8th May. I have asked for confirmation and called leaving a voicemail. As per usual, no one has called back. I will avail myself on the 8th. You will get an update. Update 9 May Installation team came. Door wrong size! New door shorter by 10mm. Cannot be installed. Written an email. Awaiting next solution. Update 23 May Claire Warran wrote to me and said that she needed to get the actually installation papers which was filed away since the installation of the door was done in 2016. She said she will get back to me in 1week. It’s been 2weeks. I emailed and left a message. So far no reply. Update 5 June Claire Warran has not responded so far. I have once again left voicemails and written emails. All silent. I have requested that she send someone to measure up the door if she can’t find the paperwork 🙄. I am proceeding with legal actions now. Update 19 June Claire Warren called me. She is sending someone to measure up the door and in two weeks time replace the faulty door. I will continue to update...

THIS COMPANY SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN BY TRADING STANDARDS. (Just google their name and see just how many bad reviews there are) Wish I had checked the reviews first. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY YOU WILL REGRET IT!!! I recently bought a set of doors for around £6k the customer service was beyond a joke and no calls were ever returned the doors have still yet to be installed due to the worst information, support and lies upon lies provided. Currently going through a legal battle to get money refunded. Which I have been told by my solicitor I should win as the company is in breach of many trade agreements/ laws set out to protect customers from sub standard customer service. Avoid this company at all costs Just to clarify a few things after your response: When ordering the doors we had scope to make the opening whatever size we wanted as the opening had not yet been built. I discussed with the sales team what the basic standard size of the doors as obviously bespoke manufacture would cost more. After purchasing the doors I was provided with 3 Emails all with different sizes which obviously gave some confusion. We requested a sales member to come out and to advise, he was useless and confused things even more he even marked the sample track with a pen and said “this is where the opening dimension should start from” this was in front of 3 skilled builders who have carried out over £75,000 of fantastic renovation work in the house, We then took the rest of the brickwork our and installed a heavy beam to the hight advised. 1 week prior to the install I phoned new wave many times requesting a sales man to call me back to check everything prior to the install, I did this everyday for 3 days with no call back, I even suggested a face time call to check everything, still nothing. In the end I messaged one of the sales team direct requesting everything be checked prior to make sure there would be no complications on the install. We still had a week to sort things out if anything was wrong. Eventually I had a message response saying no one could assist until the weekend, and no delay or face time call was offered, I made my concerns very clear I wanted things checked before the install to insure a smooth process, I was dismissed and no reply given... The installers then arrived at the house only to advise the opening was too big and the opening size should have included the track, not from where the salesman had marked on the track, the installer then said in front of multiple eye witnesses, “the sales team are useless and don’t have a clue what they are doing they do this all the time and we have to sort out all their f£&k ups” I explained I tried everything possible to have things checked prior to the install but was ignored, the install team continued to make bad remarks about the sales team. I then contacted New wave the next day to discuss and was told my builder was to blame and I would have to pay £700 for them to come out again, I was absolutely furious as the crap customer service and bad information from the sales man marking things up wrong caused the doors not to be installed, we had plenty of time to put things right had they only gave a crap and responded to the customers requests to check things even a face time call would have done. (But then you only have to read the reviews to see that the customer service team do not respond to anyone) I then got my solicitor involved and straight away they said New wave are in breach of The Supply of Goods and Services Act 1982 and or the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and I have now issued proceedings against new wave to either install the doors or provide a refund in full. New wave had the standard 2 weeks to respond to the court and haven’t so a CCJ will now be issued. Further more after meeting with my solicitor they requested technical details on the doors to make sure the company is following all other legal regulations to trade in the uk. I have requested this information as a legal right as a paying customer on 2 occasions now but have yet to receive this, By regulations I mean CE marking and other British Standards of the product which since 2013 has been a legal requirement, If the company can’t provide this then one can only presume the product is being sold illegally, (hopefully this isn’t the case and new wave will provide this detail soon) I will continue with the legal battle until the doors are refunded or installed and will update again soon.

I have requested this information as a legal right as a paying customer on 2 occasions now but have yet to receive this, By regulations I mean CE marking and other British Standards of the product which since 2013 has been a legal requirement, If the company can’t provide this then one can only presume the product is being sold illegally, (hopefully this isn’t the case and new wave will provide this detail soon) I will continue with the legal battle until the doors are refunded or installed and will update again soon.

THIS COMPANY SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN BY TRADING STANDARDS. (Just google their name and see just how many bad reviews there are) Wish I had checked the reviews first. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY YOU WILL REGRET IT!!! I recently bought a set of doors for around £6k the customer service was beyond a joke and no calls were ever returned the doors have still yet to be installed due to the worst information, support and lies upon lies provided. Currently going through a legal battle to get money refunded. Which I have been told by my solicitor I should win as the company is in breach of many trade agreements/ laws set out to protect customers from sub standard customer service. Avoid this company at all costs

Your doors were made to the sizes agreed with you and your builder, and confirmed by you in a document bearing your signature. Our installation team attended site but were unable to install your doors as the aperture was the incorrect size and logically there has to be a charge for a second visit. This is all covered in your pre-installation pack, which stresses the importance of checking with your builder to make sure that the aperture is ready for installation. We have tried to help you with this but instead you have chosen to abuse the integrity of on-line review platforms as a source of genuine customer feedback, to post vexatious and malicious content in an attempt to force us to pay for your mistake. I ordered my doors from this company 6 weeks ago instead of going to Panoramic Doors (who my neighbour used and had his doors installed 2 weeks ago). The sales lady Claire was very accommodating and once she got my deposit she gave me a delivery date of the 9th October 2018. As I'm a freelancer for work and known all over the country teaching Law and Accounting, I have to book work well in advance so gave up a day's pay to wait for these doors. On the day of the 9th NO ONE turned up. I called them and was told no one would be installing the doors that day, but that no one knew why. At this point Katie now told me she knew nothing about my order or delivery and would pass me to Adrianna- who also knew NOTHING about my order, delivery or installation. No one called me back until after I had rang this company 20 TIMES to find out what was going on. Even then there was never any apology or compensation for my time or costs and the doors still havent arrived yet. Supposedly they will arrive this week Friday but only because my poor old mum who's a pensioner, has to come from Hampshire to London to wait for these fitters. The fitters so far have been great the first time I met them. Helpful and keen to do a good job. Neither employees Claire nor Adrianna have ever respected that a customer who pays SIX THOUSAND POUNDS for doors needs to have a timeline for delivery and adequate customer contact. Today they even invented a fictitious phone call to me claiming they called me to inform me of delivery dates to insult my intelligence further and also said they wouldn't compensate me due to this being a problem from their supplier! They never admit responsibility for their poor communication and service instead blaming their supply chain- who in fairness are probably doing a much better job than them if the doors are manufactured well. I will be reviewing their company post installation to let you and other public forums know how it goes.

This is only a 1 star review but I am hoping that this will improve over the next week or so.....My wife and I first saw this company at the NEC earlier in the year, first impressions were good and we quickly agreed to purchase 3 sets of doors with a small deposit. The doors are destined for an extension to the rear of our house. On the 6th of July Rich, the salesman that we were dealing with pressed us for a further deposit (£3188) on the basis that the company only purchased aluminium once every two weeks and wanted to get the metal ordered to guarantee no delay on our doors. Rich came out out to do a site survey on the 23rd of July and told us in front of our builder that our doors would be fitted within 4 wks. On the day of the survey Rich turned up 4 hours early which ordinarily would not have been a problem, he had asked for the builder to also be present so away he went to return later. When he did return he turned up without any ladders or even details of the designs we had supplied and agreed on. We now realise he wasn't even equipped to carry out an adequate survey. In the end he used my own ladders and the builder helped with the measurements who also left him with the steel designs with measurements for the shaped window. When all of measurements were done I was asked to sign a form with all of the sizes on and was assured by Rich that the form was only 'To prove that I have been here'. I have subsequently found out that this was in fact an order form. At this time alarm bells should have started. We then spent the next 4 weeks attempting to speak with Rich to finalise the design, on 2 occasions he answered the phone and promised to send a builders pack (twice), nothing has ever arrived. After that there was no contact, despite leaving numerous messages he never called back, on 1 occasion I actually heard him in the back ground talking to some one else only to be assured that he was out of the office. Out of desperation and with the intention of speaking to a manager of some sort I called customer service and spoke with Claire. She pulled the order from a drawer and basicaly said that our order had been with her for a month. In fairness Claire has done her best to move this along and has prioritised our order, even calling me on her day off to make sure that I had received an order form. Claire couldn't make sense of Rich's survey so arranged for a fitter to come out and do it again, this time it was done properly. Finally a date for delivery was agreed, unfortunately this has now been further delayed and my builder has again had to reorganise his work. Communication with this company is exceptionally poor, calls are rarely returned in a timely way and I am constantly having to chase updates. We are spending a large amount of money on doors from New Wave and I am not entirely confident that they will arrive, ever!

Unfortunately no stars not an option and I’ve not even received the doors yet - therein lies the problem. I can’t warn people against this company strongly enough. Not only have they continued to put back installation date they have also failed to keep me up to date with further delays, despite promises to the contrary. I’m currently being told they hope to be able to deliver in September, 3 months after ordering and even longer since paid deposit. Despite the fact the issue appears to be they don’t have the materials to even begin making the doors they are saying refund of deposit is not possible and will leave me unable to move into my house. If I had the chance again I’d go elsewhere however nice they might tell you their doors are.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. If I could give them 0 stars I would. Not interested in helping fix issues, once they have your money.... good luck!! I have sent 5 emails and left 5 voicemails and no reply yet. My doors were installed a year ago and are now broken so I cannot access my garden. The installation in 2017 was one of the most stressful experiences of my entire life due to their appalling attitude and money grabbing ways, and I had hoped I would never have to deal with these vile people again. Sadly the doors are now not working and I cannot get anyone at the office to talk to me. The hinged door has dropped and I cannot open it. The sliding doors keep coming out of their holding - unless you have a lot of upper body strength there's no way you could use these doors. I wish I had never used them. All of this was at the end of a 2 year renovation project that had several hurdles to overcome, but nothing came close to the terrible attitude of the staff at New Wave. Please avoid and save yourself the trouble.

I bought a 4 panel slide and twist window (4m long) that was installed on 24 Oct 2017. The product looks good and it seemed to really enhance my new extension. Unfortunately, little I knew when I bought it about the poor quality of this product and the even poorer quality of the customer service. I regret having made the decision to go for it. In a nutshell, the good weather during the early May 2018 bank holiday gave me finally the chance to open the window and enjoy this feature after winter. Shame that the 28 degree temperature of those days had melt the glue of the "tape" that covers the rails over which the window panels slide. As I slid the panels, that tape completely deformed and stretched under my eyes. It didn't go back to position, and had to cut a section of it to be able to close the window. Now, I can only open the main door while none of the other three panels can be slid from their closed position. After a number of attempts to contact the customer service via phone and email, I finally managed to speak with Sarah around the late May bank holiday. She sent me a form to fill explaining the problem. I sent it back on May, 29 2018. After three weeks, I haven't been notified that the filled form was received and what they intend to do. I emailed last weeks asking for an update and got no answer, I tried to call the office several times, and even left a couple of messages but nobody has comeback to me yet. Goes without saying that in all conscience I cannot recommend this product to anybody. As for me, I hope that the company will have the decency to come back to me and address the problem as soon as possible avoiding me further inconvenience and before summer ends, as well as that I can add an happy ending to this review. Otherwise, I'll need to seek legal advice.

Extremely low quality. Doors swell and buckle in the sun. On very hot days you cannot open the doors without forcing them open then you need to go outside and force them closed. Customer service is atrocious. Try phoning them they have now removed the customer service option as they do not have any. Had my doors installed nearly 2 years ago and after many many many calls and eventually a few hard fought visits I am still waiting for they product to be finished. When they first fitted them a pain of glass was missing so they left me with an insecure for neary2 months! I had to board it up myself. The fitters they eventually send are useless and do not know the product, they usually leave me with more problems than when they arrived. ( except last 2 that came who were very good). If you want warped doors that don’t open and like spending hours on the phone speaking to different people who promise everything but do nothing then these are the doors for you!

I have paid for service call out about 2 weeks ago. I was promised by Sarah from New Wave Doors that she will arrange to have our doors serviced based on initial report from her workmen. To date - since last 2 weeks, I have left numerous messages and emails to which no one from New Wave Doors has replied. I advise all prospective customers to look elsewhere for bifold doors as its worth paying extra to guarantee after care service. All New Wave Doors are interested is money money & money. Nothing else

New Wave Store used to be New Wave Doors..... prior to that they were Legacy Windows. However, all these companies operate out of Flowers Hill & Clothier Road in Bristol. New Wave appear to believe that they can shrug off the justifiably damning feedback left by disaffected customers, just by simply tweaking their branding slightly, and switching head office address. They are currently challenging all their bad reviews across all review sites claiming they are all invalid because they relate to New Wave Doors not New Wave Store. I wouldn't be leaving this feedback if they'd come back & corrected the £3,300 mess they left me with 18 months ago. Customers expect to be treated with courtesy & respect even when they are forced to complain about appalling service & unacceptable quality. When they are treated with utter contempt they will leave bad reviews. Stop trying to take the reviews down and Start treating your customers properly!

From my personal experience I would say the doors are a decent product but the manufacture and fitting is way below acceptable standards. A weather strip which should have been attached in the factory during the manufacturing process had been omitted from my doors. One of the fitters returned a few days after the initial installation to retro fit the weather strip. In doing so (using a large rubber mallet!!) he destroyed the finish on one of the doors from top to bottom . To say that New Wave's after sales service is "non existent" would still be an understatement. After many phone calls, emails, and a special delivery, formal Trading Standards letter of complaint (which was returned unopened). The door has never been replaced or repaired and as a customer who paid them @ £3,300 I have been treated with nothing but contempt. The photos of my doors are testament to the quality & service I have received from this company. I regularly look at customer reviews for New Wave to see if they are still trading, and if so, whether their standards have improved at all. It would appear that they are currently on a mission to ensure all "negative" reviews are taken down from all review sites. Their justification for this is that they have changed their name from New Wave Doors to New Wave Store. As a result they are claiming that all reviews relating to their former named company are now irrelevant and invalid. If only they would demonstrate this same level of effort & commitment to Customer Care.

Had been awaiting delivery of our doors week beginning 7 September to complete a build. Informed just two weeks before that date that doors will now not be ready until 1 October blaming metal supply problems. Very disappointed with method of communication and nature of it at such late notice. Means a 7 week lead time turning into a 10 week lead time - buyers beware!!

The doors themselves are good but every time there is a problem with them it is a nightmare to get through to customer service to get someone out to fix them . Doors finally fitted and work fine, minor, almost unnoticable damage sorted within the week. However, suggest that New Wave improve their service as follows: 1. Improve their office to fitters communications , surveyor was sent to our old address in Essex instead of Dorset. 2. Establishing a date for fitting took a long time during the lockdown and no phone contact possible. We were given only a 'week beginning' rather than a specific until the last moment. 3. Payment and site arrangements were very wordy and put almost everything down to the customer - in order that they are not responsible for problems? 4. Give the fitters some new shirts and tell them not to use them as rags to wipe off excessive sealer material, very bad image!

Mike and Connor were great onsite, with Connor having his birthday whilst he was here! We are very happy with our doors which work and look great. Communication with the office was poor at times, and we found it hard to get hold of Sarah who needs more support. 3 tips Nice looking doors and I like the swing and fold without taking up any internal space. Three things I would suggest to get 5 stars: 1. Always ask the company to survey the final aperture - the customer may be confident but it’s not worth the risk of finding a problem at installation. Which would also cost £1500 for a second visit (it’s in the small print). I sensed a reluctance to come out but luckily my builder got it right to within a millimetre so install went as planned. The company should make that offer so there’s no dispute later. 2. Advise the customer not to plaster the aperture reveals if possible - there will inevitably be small gaps against the frame which are better dealt with by plastering later rather than trying to hide with long trims. 3. Linked to 2 above - could the install team carry trims to match the most common colours (white) to complete the job on site rather than the client source after the job. We were lucky in that we had a good builder who got it right and we did recheck with the company a few times around thresholds etc to build some confidence. Very happy with the doors so far and the price was fair compared to quotes I’ve had for similar windows.

We are very happy with our experience with New Wave Store Ltd. The staff were friendly, helpful, and efficient. The doors look good and are performing well, so we have no complaints. I would have preferred the option to pay by credit card in order to derive the additional consumer protection that comes with this method of payment, which is why I have not awarded the fifth star.

Overall Delighted! From our initial visit to their factory unit and showroom to the actual instillation, we are delighted with the doors and the service from New Wave Doors. However, the doors have only been installed for a couple of weeks and we haven’t yet put them to use as the room that they are in has yet to be finished and occupied. As a result, we can’t make further comment on our experience with the operation of the doors. Nonetheless, so far, so good.

My new waves are just what we wanted with our extension, the office was at times slow to return my calls but my overall experience is good. We opted for 3 sets of aluminium doors which really finish off the room.

Fitters were courteous and efficient, and installation was completed professionally. Communication was satisfactory. We are very happy with the product supplied by New Wave. The product i would recommend, and final fitter Mike & Connor I would also recommend, but the customer service does need attending to. Initial installer, Keith, needs to be make accountable for his incomplete and sub-standard work, and the office could could speed up correcting problems.

We had our doors installed by Dave the fitter and his work mate to be very polite and professional while fitting our doors. It was so nice to see tradesman tidy up behind them and help with any questions or queries i had on the doors themselves. I have to say we are very happy with the doors and cant wait to use them. The only thing stopping this being a 5 star review is the communication side of things with New Wave, i would just like a little more communication of what day the doors were being fitted. Overall though the doors are fantastic and i would strongly recommend these doors to anyone potential having any kind of extension on their home.

New Wave Doors were installed on a new build. There were issues with the delivery address being mixed up with the billing address which prompted delays in installation. I was not present for the installation so not aware if issues were experienced or speed of installation. The finished product looks good though and I hope I will not encounter post installation issues.

New Wave Doors are the perfect product for the replacement of our fifteen years old French windows. Communication with you was first class. Queries we had regarding installation were answered at time of survey with suggested for solutions. The team of two arrived at the agreed time and carried out the fitting without the need for any remedial work by us to the interior of the room. The aluminium doors function as they should, the design seems solid and the colour (graphite) enhances the appearance of the house. Only installed a couple of weeks ago, but no reason to think any thing will go wrong. The doors now 'bring the garden into the house'. All in all a very satisfactory experience.

The doors were installed on the agreed date without issue and look great. I dealt with Michael who was available on his mobile at all timees to discuss things with the builder and ensure everything went as planned. Overall, a great experience and a company I would highly recommend.

Great doors and excellent service I ordered my doors from New Wave having only seen videos of how they work. They were what I was looking for as I needed the access door on the left and for the doors to also stack to the left. The order process was very simple as they came out to measure up and confirmed everything with me. A suggested install date was also given at the time which was roughly 8 weeks due to Christmas. The doors were then installed on the original date suggested and the install was very good and no mess was left. The doors work perfectly and are nice and simple to use. I am very pleased with the product and service and would recommend New Wave doors to others.

After seeing the doors and being impressed at the Ideal Home Exhibition last year we were impressed with the attentive support from the sales team who really know the production and out. Michael & Richard gave us lots of great advice and advised us to tweak the size of our door opening which saved us £1250! The doors were fitted by Connor and his mate (sorry I forgot his name) both were tidy and efficient & deserved all the tea they drank as it was particularly cold on the day! I love the doors and they have really elevated our build to something very special. Our friends have come to see them and will also be ordering. Although the doors were not cheap I would have paid more and still thought they were great value! Can’t recommend highly enough. Thank you all.

I have just had my new wave doors fitted today and I am so pleased with the product and the professional level of service I have received from Everyone I dealt with at new wave A big thank you to Adrianne In Installations and fitters Connor and Andrew. I am so happy the doors look perfect and I love the product. After seeing the doors at the show I decided to go ahead and purchase my doors, Adrianne was able to change my installation date due to the builders not being able to finish on time and made sure all went to plan. Mike helped me chose the exact colour I wanted to match my exsisting windows and explained how to operate the product a very professional approach. The fitters where very competent at their job Clean, tidy and made sure I was 100% happy with the installation and gave me instruction on how to operate the doors correctly A big thank you to all of you and I’m so happy with the outcome of choosing your company.

I ordered my doors from new wave and after reading the reviews and was a little dubious however I was completely wrong to be from sale to installation everything was fantastic. Rich in sales was brilliant not pushy left all the decisions to me never hounded me to place my order and when I did I went to him he didn’t not chase me not your average sales man he went above and beyond to make sure everything went ok. Adrianne in installations was amazing called me to arrange my installation gave me a date although she did have to call me up to rearrange but gave me plenty of notice and gave me another date on the same call. The installation went ahead with no problems at all the guys on site were friendly and very helpful with any questions I had. Overall very happy with my new doors a very friendly professional company I Would be happy to recommend this company

We have now had 5 sets of New Wave Doors from New Wave Store but we have just had our first PVC New Wave and I am impressed. It works the same way as the aluminium one but costs less and our customer is delighted. These were a replacement for some pvc bifolding doors which were only a year old but never worked properly. Our customer was a bit nervous about another PVC door but I took them to the New Wave Store showroom in Bristol where they were able to see why this door is so different and so much better than a bifolding door. Very helpful staff there. We are going to be selling more of these.

We started searching online for an alternative to regular bi-folds and came across new waves which seem to be exactly what we wanted. We were worried about the weight of our door as we have a large 7 metre expanse and did'nt want a door with hinges. Thankfully we know we have made the right choice and could not be happier.

perfect doors for the back of our extension. Our builder was really impressed with level of workmanship we thought there maybe a slight issue as the builder wanted to supply the doors but did'nt offer new wave so we decided to let new wave complete. Keep up the good work.

Having just had a huge 7 metre set of doors installed we are very happy with our door choice. We were put off of having bi folds because for such a big gap we wondered how heavy and reliable they would be so had to choose between a lift and slide or new wave. our heart was set on having the full opening so we eventually after lots of consideration choose new wave. We now know we made the right choice and can finally use them now all the works have been completed. Fitters worked well and hassle free and service up to now has been great we would definitely recommend.

We are very impressed with our new waves. They have made a significant difference to the back of our house meaning we now use the garden twice as much. When it cam to pricing the guys in the office were prompt, it was more than we hoped to spend but was worth the extra.

We decided to pay the little bit extra to have new wave install the doors in our extension. Our builder offered us a much better price to supply bi-folds but we were not confident in them installing something so important for our project. We use them all the time which was the main reason for turning our back on the normal bi-folds.

Our builder put us on to new wave having used them before on previous jobs. The whole thing went very smoothly from start to finish. We now can sit back and enjoy. We decided on pvc as we had matching windows nearby and these were within our budget.

We decided on new wave doors when we saw them at an exhibition at the nec last year. We had long delays with planning but once this was approved our build took shape really quickly. Our builder discussed our sizes with Rich in the office who was very helpful. The doors were fitted in less than two hours to a great standard and we are very happy with the overall finish.

Thank you to new wave, they were very helpful providing doors for our house. We have two sets and they are so much better than our friends bi-folds. We love the fact we can use them all the time and not have to wait for the sunny days. A special thanks to Tom who was very good throughout, came out several times to discuss details with our builder to avoid confusion. We had an issue with one of the pieces of glass which had internal scratches on but this quickly changed so no harm done.

We came across New wave at a show in Birmingham after going there to look at bi folding doors. We had never come across the style so were really surprised when we saw them in action. The information given was clear and we especially warmed to the fact that the company only offer on product. Tom came out and spoke at length with our builder explaining the whole process and helped us choose a design that would suit us best. We ended up choosing a 5 panel door with the blinds which i had to bully my husband into having. We had a couple of days where we struggled to get through to the office i think they need a few more call handlers but this was put right in time so not a major problem. Fitters were great clearly know what they are doing and seemed to enjoy it. We have used the doors everyday since and can not praise them enough.

We saw these doors at a friends of ours recent project and were really impressed right from the start. We previously had bi folds in an old house and hated everything about them so were thrilled to see an alternative had been created. The process was simple we gave the company our builders details to make sure both of us new what was needed. Our only complaint is, we only had room for a three pane system where would loved to have been able to have a larger set maybe next time.

Could not believe there was a door that was actually invented in Bristol that we could use. Bi folding doors just do not compare and are so glad we came across New Waves when we did. We decided on a 5 panel aluminium door which is a great centre piece to our extension. Fitters did have to leave site early due to an sos on another job but were back the very next morning to finish. Happily recommend.

We met the new wave team at an exhibition in London and were really impressed with the doors right from the off. We were originally looking to have bi-folds as we have never seen the slide and swing option before. The price was competitive and me and my partner agreed the doors offered that little bit more. We were apprehensive when we were told our builder would have to provide the sizes but this in fact was a very easy process and all was explained in detail. We had a few delays with our timings which the office accommodated for us. We use the doors all the time now and just love our little extension.

After seeing the doors at an exhibition we were confident we had chosen the right doors for our project and now after having them installed I know we made the right choice. With so many options on the market it was a bit of a minefield of information but we felt the information given suited us. Fitters were cheery and just got on with things and again helpful with demonstrating how to use them.

We had 2 sets of doors installed last week and are very happy with our end result. We spent a lot of time pondering over which style of door to go for and are now confident we swayed away from bifolds. What we found is most companies don’t know much about what products they are selling so it was nice to deal with the actual manufacturers. Would happily recommend

Absolutely delighted with my new doors installed in our back extension. After first seeing the doors at the NEC in 2017, we finally decided on aluminium New Wave Doors to finish off our project, and what a great decision it was. Rich the salesman was very helpful answering our builder and architects technical queries, and ensured we got the exact doors we required, there was an lot of choice! The office customer service team processed our order and booked in our works quickly and the doors arrived on the day as promised. Mike and Connor the installers did a fantastic job, worked quickly around our builders who were still on site. They were very helpful at demonstrating the doors and how to use them properly. Really cant wait for the whole project to be completed now.

After finding New Wave Store on Google we placed our order in January. We were promised a 4 week turnaround, which they met. The doors were slightly more expensive than other bifold doors we had seen, but we wanted the extra flexibility, and I have to say they are worth every penny. Thanks to Mike & Connor our fitting team who installed our doors. They work fantastically and have made such a vast improvement to the building overall. Cant wait for the build to be finished so we can use them everyday.

All the staff have been exceptionally helpful, from the sales team who we originally met at the show, right though to the fitting staff Mike and Connor. Just love the Bristol accents!! We had Aaron the engineer and his mate to come and fix a few things on our doors and thought we would just comments on how professional they were. Calling us an hour before they were scheduled to arrive and providing us with a fantastic service. I would have to say the only thing that need improvement in my opinion is the waiting time, however we understand that New Wave have just had a new Customer Service manager (Graz) and Engineer (Aaron) and have to applaud them on their fantastic service in getting our issue sorted.

Fantastic Product and would highly recommend these doors to anyone looking at extending their property. We meet the New Wave team at the Shepton Mallet Show back in 2015 and they have been keeping in touch throughout our build and answering any questions we may have. I had an issue with one of my glass units shattering on my New Wave doors, completely my fault but the efficiency of the New Wave team was fantastic. I explained the situation to Nick who took down all of my details and reassured me he would make it a priority case due to my circumstances at home. Graz the Customer service manager was lovely and talked me through their steps of procedure and kept me updated on when the new glass unit would be in. Aaron and Cameron came to replace the glass panel and were so polite and courteous to me, i would have to say New Wave are an amazing team and i would recommend them to any potential customers. 5 star service!!!
