Had a look online . Got someone out to give us a quote. Guy who came out seemed very honest and not a pushy sales type. Decided to go ahead with the spray foam insulation for our loft to combat condensation problems. Work was scheduled for Thursday morning. This is where it started to go down hill ... Work men arrived . Looking not much older than my 12 year old son . Didn't introduce themselfs. Still couldn't tell you there names .They then took 2 hours and 55 minutes .. near 3 hours before they started work. All the while my front door was opened . Freezing cold December morning . House was baltic. Eventually started the work . They in the process knocked two of my fans off. Left balls of foam all over my loft. And also my wooden flooring is all scratched from the ladders going into my loft now. They were not professional atall. I had to ask them 3 times to go sit in the van while I collected my daughter from school. This was after 3 o'clock. Terrible communications from a ment to be professional. I would think when paying someone near 7 thousand pound to do a job the company would at least send someone with a bit of intulect and who is able to verbally communicate . Also not impressed with the big black mark the van made on my road outside my house. Now had the insulation 5 days and so far have not noticed any difference in temperature yet. Still early days I guess. Just overall not entirely satisfied with the insulation . Sales guys was decent enough. But when paying thousnds for a job it would be nice. To have someone that can explain things and you can have a bit if faith in.
