I recently had double glazing, two skylights, a composite door and a set of bifold doors supplied and installed by HS Windows. The skylights were ill fitted and leaked all over the newly laid wooden floor causing us to re-lay replacement flooring at our own expense. We were promised (and paid for) motorised skylights but the fitter forgot to liaise with our builder on this and we were instead left with manual skylights without any refund on the price paid for the motorised set. To add insult to injury, the winder we were given was dented. The skylights were also scratched and looked awful. And, if that is not enough, the very expensive composite door is jammed and will not open. We have been calling the owner non-stop for three weeks and he keeps avoiding us. We have failed final Building Regs sign off because the door will not open. I have a young baby so this is not ideal as I have to take her around the back to get into the house. I have now instructed solicitors to commence legal action. I don't often take the time to write reviews but I hope my horrific experience can forewarn others.
