Beware!! I would advise NOT to pay the balance until EVERYTHING is completed to your satisfaction. I have had an absolute nightmare with Britelite over the installation of an aluminium bi-fold door conservatory. The base work start date was delayed by two weeks (11 weeks from survey date) and the floor was not anywhere near level. There was delay after delay on the construction date apparently due to ‘the supplier of the aluminium’ meaning the construction started on 10th November (13 weeks after survey and increase to contract amount). This I thought was bad enough but oh no. When they started the construction on 10th November, the top quarterlight side panel was too short and finished halfway over the upright panel and when asked why I was told ‘we will fill it in with UPVC’ I was horrified. Were they not used to this type of conservatory? The problems went on and on til march 2017. Bits were falling off. The box gutter wasn't fitted properly and a 'make shift' solution had to be found. Window seals were not fitted properly nor was the primary door and now fittings had to be installed. The external gutter downpipe was left with duck tape around it so after complaining they had to come back and fix that. Here we are , five months after construction started and I have given up. They grind you in to submission, as all you want is for the whole thing to be finished. I would NEVER recommend this company for an aluminium conservatory, workmanship and customer services poor.
